I have been going here for my foam needs since the 1990s and have sent many friends and family there and all have been happy. Anyone complaining on reviews, in my opinion did not follow up properly with them as they have bent over backwards to be of help to me and others. They're still in business because they're honest, kind, have a variety of foam products many foam stores don't carry and they do custom foam cuts for your needs. The store itself doesn't have lots of bells and whistles, as the owner is intent on passing on savings to their customers. You want a place you can trust won't upsell or sell you something you don't need? Discount Foam is the reliable choice. No they didn't ask or pay me to write this. Check out the new store - since it moved - just down the street on Fraser. I always like tell people about a good thing!

This review reflects only my personal experience and observations…read more In my experience, I found certain pricing and delivery terms unclear and would have preferred a more detailed written breakdown before payment. There appeared to be multiple tiers of delivery fees, and I did not receive a clear explanation of how these were calculated (for example, mileage or service levels). Additional charges, including card-related and delivery-related fees, affected the final amount I paid. I also had questions regarding certain manufacturing and certification representations and was unable to independently confirm some of the information to my satisfaction. Separately, I observed product handling and storage practices that differed from my personal expectations and was also unable to find visible business license information displayed in-store at the time of my visit. There were also delays in communication and production during the process, which contributed to my overall experience. For anyone considering a purchase, I recommend requesting written confirmation. After my experience, I later saw that some other customers have raised similar concerns, but I can only speak to my own experience. Others may have different experiences, but I believe it is helpful for consumers to ensure all details are clearly documented before purchasing.

I spotted the shop during an initial walkabout of the Centre, and retuned with the ladies for an inside browse before we headed to lunch. I had pillows in mind, and was able to see two products they carry. It was their (brand) product that really caught my attention. This particular latex pillow, like some others I have seen and tried (over the years), was available in 'low' and 'high' lofts. I really liked the look and feel of the low loft pillow, but for a purchase, decided it would take a little more consideration of the 'pros & cons' (of latex foam) on my part. A first-time shopping experience for me, and I was very impressed with the high quality of products they sell, and the very friendly and informative service I received.

Ehwwwww. After spending most of the time at the other end of the store trying not to listen to her and trying not to think about the germs that where going to be on the foam she was cutting for me, I had to go to the till to complete the transaction. Made a quick exit. Yesterday I went back into the store and there was another customer in front of me and she was having the same kind of conversation with him. I asked her if she had a small piece of foam and she said no and started to explain why she didn't and the phone rang. While waiting for her to finish on the phone I looked in the scrap box near the till and found a piece of foam that was perfect but too long. Asked if she could cut it and she said she didn't have time because she had 2 other jobs to do. No one else in the store. One cut. One straight cut. 10 seconds. Cash deal. Needless to say I will not be back to this business.

At first I was going to go to one of the bigger company stores but when I looked online I just felt they were overcharging on everything, whereas the Mattress guy gave me a great deal and took away my old mattress for a small and reasonable fee. All in all the amount I paid was great value for the great quality and I love that it's made locally and I'm supporting a small local business. The delivery guys were super friendly and easy going and my whole experience was just fantastic. I would definitely recommend and will go back for my next purchase. I found Urban Decor online as I was searching for a local furniture store that sells sofa beds…read more After reviewing the selection on their website, we decided to visit the store to see the sofas in person. The sales associate who assisted us was friendly and helpful, but we decided to come back another day to consider our options before making the purchase. When we returned, we were assisted by Amer who was just as helpful and friendly as the sales associate we met on our initial visit. We made the purchase that day for delivery the next and added on the pick up service they offer for a fee. Amer was proactive with calling beforehand to ensure that we would be home to receive the delivery, and we managed to set a time that would work for the both us. The pick up and drop off went well. We were in a building with no elevator so we decided to carry our futon down to the entrance before their arrival. Once they got here, they carried the sofa bed all the way up our staircase and into our suite. Overall, I would definitely recommend shopping at this store if you're looking for furniture. The prices are reasonable, service is excellent, and the process was efficient!
