I was skeptical when I pulled up and it was at someone's home bc the parking situation is odd. It's up to people to show up and not block you in. Hopefully in the future they will setup some sort of parking guidance, this wasn't too big of a deal though. You can't really get there early to get a spot bc then people from the previous session are still there. You go in though the front door of the house and they've redone the inside into a gift shop. Down side, it smells very strongly of animal inside and there were no windows open. It was about 65-70° when I went, idk what it would smell like when it actually gets hot. Your time slot for 50 minutes will have around 30-35 people. Someone calls you to join at the back door and tells you the rules. You go out, they give you your free food cup & for feeding time for the animals first. Then they let you inside with the animals! This was great. I think kids will love having birthdays here if they offer that. They have pony grooming add ons. I asked to go sit inside the pin with the blonde highland cow, no one was asking about that so deff shoot your shot! Overall, I enjoyed this place a lot & I know it will do fantastic in the world golf village area! Didn't love: smell indoors, getting in and out of the driveway on state road 16, the parking situation

My boyfriend and I went here, and we had the best time! It was so fun to feed and pet the animals. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We still talk about how much fun we had! Definitely recommend :)

Amazing experience from start to finish. The animals are so well cared for, the staff was kind, and the whole place has such a warm family atmosphere. Our kids had so much fun and didn't want to leave.

I had so much fun! Was very fun to pet the cows and goats. The only thing I recommend is the company help organize the parking situation. Was very chaotic getting out of the parking lot.

The tour we took was 1.5 hours long. They broke us up into groups of about 40. We could always hear our tour guide easily, and she gave us a lot of information about each animal. The animals looked well cared for. For those who need a ride on the walking tour, there are golf carts. They provide bottled water, if you need it. Younger kids or those with shorter attention spans may get antsy or cranky, but I think it is a very enjoyable and unique tour. No photos are allowed on the tour for safety and logistical reasons. Honestly, it is nice to just enjoy the moment and not stress about optimal angles and lighting. A port-a-potty is available. The tour is a must-do in the area!

While the staff can't control the weather, it seemed as though they could've done more so that the animals would be more comfortable in the heat! The day ended up being miserably uncomfortable for us, as well as the animals. Some were impatiently pacing in their cages. Some were just lying around in the dirt. Two were recovering from surgeries. All of the animals looked well cared for and some were enjoying some snacks while we were there. Our "walking tour" included a walk around the facility to each animal's habitat and the guide discussing multiple facts about the animals lives and journey to the Reserve. Start to finish, it took about an hour and included a bottled water. I'd recommend strollers for your kids. It's an unsafe place to allow young children to wander around. The "public" restroom is a port-o-let outside the gated entrance to the reserve. It was just as clean as the ones at a football game/concert! There is no gift shop but they do ask for donations and give you a t-shirt in return. In movie terms, the reserve is the equivalent of a low-budget film. It's saving grace is the effort to keep these animals alive, but as they all grow, I feel like this "low-budget film will not be able to keep up with the demand! Too few employees for so many demanding large animals.

Not only is the location a perfect portal to a different type of Florida , but the wagons are all the way in the back so it's perfect privacy. There's also a tent outside to sit and watch pigs take a bath in the fountain. The wagon room we got was the Piggies room! Perfect decor and amenities inside(towels/shampoo/conditioner/tissues/coffee mugs /even games!) Huge bathroom with incredible shower. There is ac but we spent most of the time with the screen door and bathroom window open & it felt great. Included inside:mini fridge, toaster, coffee/tea (included),microwave and a small heater. Plenty of plugs to charge & a full length mirror. We love that there was no tv because we got to watch highland cows instead !! We also got to sleep to rain and it was so peaceful especially waking up every morning to new friends like pigs and sheep! We also saw: 4 highland cows!! , 2 different types of pigs, a family of sheep (+Anya the sassiest girl), cats, dogs, goats, turkeys (that like hugs but scared meee), guinea fowls, chickens and hens, mini horses and a peacock that sounds like Kevin from UP in the nighttime !! All the staff were super friendly including miss Elaine! Truly an incredible place to visit and get to feed pigs all day.

This place is out in the middle of nowhere. I guess it kinda needs to be as their website states the facility has four acres of land and an eight acre lake. The only thing that identified that we were at the right place was a small sign on the gate. I parked and was warmly greeted by Dawson. He advised us where to go and to check in with our vouchers. Prior to coming here I had reserved the spots as instructed on the Groupon. This is a family owned business operated by a mother (Lureen) and son (Dawson) team. Both are instructors but Dawson was the one that lead the session that day. They started by telling us about the bow types (they used Olympic quality bow), proper handling and the safety aspects. The first hour was to get familiar with the stance and bows. The session had 14 people so Dawson would take up 3 - 4 at a time and coach them on the proper techniques. He was very encouraging and patient. By the 2nd hour, most everyone was more comfortable with shooting they started a challenge to determine the winner. While people were waiting their turns, they were entertained by the free range animals there. The pigs were both really cute and friendly, there was a rescue duck, two rescue horses, 11 goats (they were roaming somewhere so no one saw them) and probably a bunch of other animals we didn't see. Dawson was even surprised when he saw the duck and asked when his mom had gotten her. Lol. Right now it's hot everywhere and I wasn't sure how they would conduct the class outside in the heat. There's a shade canopy for people to sit under and it had a nice breeze but if you sweat easily, maybe wait until it gets cooler for a more comfortable experience. I'm not sure but they might have evening sessions as well. Besides archery, gardening & fishing classes are offered as well as kayak rentals. Both Lureen and Dawson were very personable and they did an great job in educating everyone about the sport and made sure they had fun while doing it. Come and check them out!
