Starting with the early communication with Melissa which was easy over a couple of days, mostly via text was was easy for me because I was between work and home. I was planning a surprise party for my boyfriend with a mix of adults & children attending at our home. Jesse & their son Jonah came the day of the party with a great variety of animals. The animals were all friendly & clearly had been socialized to be comfortable around groups of people including the children. They arrived early & set up quickly. Everyone had a great time! Guests were allowed to feed carrots to the animals which was fun. Clean up was quick & efficient! I would definitely recommend this to anyone considering something unique! Thank you for such a great day!

It was funny having pigs under the house sleeping. I sat on the porch and listened to them snore, it was a riot. I've never heard a pig snore. The very best part was the look on my sisters face when she got to do the cow cuddle with the highland cows. It was a special surprise for her. Thank you Elaine for making our visit wonderful. It was sorta in the country with the road leading to the farm was a gravel/dirt road. If you have a truck have fun on the road but if you have a low trim car like me, go slow! The GPS brought us straight there. We walked to the stalls area and was greeted by Kirk by all the reviews you know he is a man of knowledge for animals! He helped us a lot with riding and have a fun time. The kittens and dogs on his farm are the sweetest they can be! People drop them off at his farm or he finds them abandoned and gives them a nice home to stay at. Before we left he gave us about a dozen eggs for free which we enjoyed a lot! I will be back for more fun! Don't forget to leave a tip!

Younger kids or those with shorter attention spans may get antsy or cranky, but I think it is a very enjoyable and unique tour. No photos are allowed on the tour for safety and logistical reasons. Honestly, it is nice to just enjoy the moment and not stress about optimal angles and lighting. A port-a-potty is available. The tour is a must-do in the area!
