They are the most amazing floral designers I've ever worked with. They made our daughter's wedding breathtaking beyond belief. In fact, it's hard to find the right words to use in this review to properly convey their level of talent. They really listened and understood what we wanted and then took our ideas and created the most unique floral designs that were indescribable. Pictures don't do them justice nor do they really capture how stunning every arrangement, bouquet, down to the sweetest boutonnières were. The details of their combinations and balance of flowers seduced you and kept you studying every arrangement. People couldn't take their eyes off them. Just use them!!!! Listen I went to 1800flowers and almost spit out my vodka. I'm not spending 80$ plus 30$ for a simple thank you gift. So I figured let me call someone that's in cumming. I called a couple of other places but they didn't pick up..... there had my complete gain. Billy answered the phone. I explained what I need and my price point and literally less than 5 mins I was back to my life knowing in a few days my friend would have a smile on her face. Flowers for my sister and niece, let's do it I thought to myself, excited to hopefully brighten their day! This a couple of weeks ago, when they were in a car accident, hit by another driver, and thank God ultimately okay (sister broken wrist, pains, bruises and shaken). I thought to send flowers to brighten their day, so very thankful both okay. That night I searched for local florists -not to use a commonly known online service(s) even if/when use they in turn use local vendors... depends upon type of online service, product, occasion, etc, okay so anyway- some florists I already knew preferred not to use (back in Atlanta now but lived in Cumming for yrs, know the established florists). However, being open-minded and knowing that positive change and growth can occur, I at least read the reviews, which confirmed my opinion of old and reiterated the history and present of those florists as the same, if not worse. That said, I was disappointed when few florists appeared in my search, not confident in any, and therefore went to bed with the thought that I would order nothing at all (quality product, quality business or nothing) and do something else for my sister and niece. The Flower Post did not show up in my search that night, not sure why, but thought to give it one more search the next morning before I kept with the decision to not order flowers. Thankfully The Flower Post showed up! I liked what I saw/read and quickly sent an email along with a picture reference from one of the reviews for their shop, said I'd call shortly after. I called asap and spoke with Billy who pulled up my email and we chatted about it all. Flowers to be delivered that day (if memory serves correctly, order placed sometime between 1, 1:30 and the bouquet was delivered shortly after 3... awesome!). She does amazing things with unusual items (feathers, rocks, moss, etc) and is really good at listening to what you want and what your wedding vision is and staying within your budget. Her work is varied, too, so it doesnt matter if you like super tight arrangments, really modern stuff, loose and hippie--she'll do it however you want it and won't make YOU adjust to HER preferences. It was a Monday (a day they are closed) and knowing this I planned to order for the following day to be delivered. I just wasn't sure the best way to let them know what I wanted, so I went to their Instagram page to look at inspiration. I ended up finding an arrangement that fit my "vision" and reached out via Instagram to ask for an arrangement similar to the one I'd found, along with some other specifics. Not expecting to get a reply until one of their open business days, they responded very soon after and were extremely helpful in helping me order the right arrangement for what I wanted. A friend of mine had a baby and I had to run down to Northside to visit. I needed to take some flowers to the new mom. So, I stopped by the Flower Post on my way. They didn't have anything already prepared, but the owner's daughter was able to whip up a gorgeous cut flower arrangement in less than 20 minutes. It was early on a Tuesday morning and she didn't have a lot going on, so I'm not sure if they would be able to do such a thing anytime. But, it was so gracious and wonderful that she was able to that for me. I got multiple compliments on the arrangement in the hospital as i rode the elevator, etc. One compliment was even from a doctor - "that is a very beautiful arrangement!" And, you know, Doctors see lots of flower arrangements. I also ordered 3 arrangements from here for my staff in honor of Administrative Professional's Day. Again, the Flower Post exceeded my expectations with these arrangements and my staff was soooo happy! They were able to create 3 similar and gorgeous arrangements. Each were a slight bit different, so each staff member felt uniquely recognized. I am very happy with my interactions with this florist. I have been burned by many florists in the past (IE., ridiculously little value for insanely high prices or horrible customer service) - I'm very happy to have discovered this florist! The Flower Post was handling the flowers for a dear friend's wedding that I was not able to attend. I live in Wisconsin and called Jo and asked if she'd help me. Not only did she put together flowers and deliver them to the bride's dressing room for me, but also allowed me to send a card and a small gift (a hanky) to her at her store and she delivered those along with the flowers. I was so sad that I couldn't make this wedding and Jill helped me to be a small part of it. The bride told me she carried the hanky with her bouquet up the aisle.
