The lady on the phone was very nice and helpful. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted but she helped me find a nice gift vase arrangement not too big to sit on my wife's desk. Ordering was easy and payed with credit card over the phone. The flowers were delivered today as planned and my wife texted me how much she loved them. She's a very busy manager and this made her day! She sent me a pic of the arrangement sitting on her desk. Thank you Jacksons Floral for helping me surprise my dear wife in the middle of her work day to show her how much I love her.

I simply called to express that we would like to offer a free quote at their renewal if she would allow us to. Before I could finish letting her know that we were also looking for a florist to call on when we had need, she started screaming at me that I was cold calling and that it is against the law and if my number came up again that she would report me. First it is a shame that she is so misinformed, because businesses do not have to be scrubbed and I really wasn't simply cold calling. My call was actually just to say what we did and we would like to be of service if she needed. I can assure you, we would not want her as a client and we will use another florist. Shocked!!

Very disappointed with my experience at Tropical Roses. I placed my order over a month in advance,…read moreyet I was told at pickup that 3 of the flowers I ordered were unavailable. If they already knew they would not have them in stock, that should have been communicated ahead of time instead of waiting until the last minute and substituting flowers without notice. Substitutions do not always work when clients already have a specific vision and expectations. The rose quality was also unacceptable. Many looked old, fully bloomed, and not fresh enough to be considered sellable. As a wholesaler, quality control should be taken more seriously, especially during major holidays when florists and small businesses depend on reliable product quality for their own customers. I understand their policies state there are no refunds and that substitutions may be made depending on availability. This review is not about trying to get a refund or "solve" the issue after the fact. It is about accountability. Selling poor-quality flowers for the sake of making a quick sale is completely unacceptable, especially when other businesses and paying clients are depending on that product. I understand I may not place the biggest orders, but the experience made me feel like smaller customers are not prioritized the same way as larger buyers. I have been in this business for 3 years now to know what good products look like. Unfortunately, this negatively affected my business and my clients. I will not be shopping here again, and I would not recommend them during high-volume holidays if you rely on consistency and quality for your business.

Thank you Occasions for providing excellent customer service…read more Just last week my mother, daughter and I came to this shop to see about having a floral arrangement designed for my father's funeral. This was after leaving Joyce Merek Florist (with a bad taste left in our mouths from all the rudeness we were just served up). My mom with a background in art immediately liked the shop when she entered.. She said the creativity this florist has is made very clear with the arrangements placed all around. The owner Carol was absolutely fabulous while listening to my mom design the arrangement she would like to have.. Carol offered up some ideas that my mom was very open to. Carol told us she does not like using filler flowers such as carnations. We did expect to pay a bit on the higher side, and we were okay with doing so if we received what we were looking for. Much to our surprise we spent no where close to what we had figured. My only suggestion would be if Carol had a very minimal example book made available. Something maybe showing the different types of flowers that she uses (since so many are not the common type). Thank you Carol for a job well done, and for what I feel as going above and beyond in making sure my mother and I were 100% satisfied in your work. Stop into this shop right on the corner of Washington in the square. You'll find more than arrangements in this little shop, and even if you don't leave with something at that time.. You're sure to return in the future.

I worked with Dee at Occasions, and I am so glad I did. Let me say it was not easy getting quotes…read morefrom flower vendors because details matter for the quotes, so I found myself spending a lot of time on the phone with the few I narrowed it down to after looking online. When I looked at my methodical bridezilla (lol) spreadsheet review of florist pricing, I realized the one thing that wasn't there but mattered most: the fact that Dee REALLY took the time to listen to me and even hours on the phone to get my order for my wedding right. The result was A DREAM!!!! I barely knew what to say when they brought my bouquet in, and showed me the rest of the flowers, because in a year of planning and in the middle of one of the busiest days of my life with some things not going as planned, it was SO NICE to have this go right. My bouquet really made me feel like a princess and I even decided to keep it instead of repurposing it. I only wish I could have looked at it in it's full glory a little longer! The flowers were just so perfect, and we were even able to share them in their lovely vases with guests the next day. Thank you so much for helping make this perfect.
