I was undecided between FCI and a friend's family member's company. Matt preserved. Matt worked with me to find a flooring that was in stock. My first choice is back ordered. I recently bought house and wanted floors done before I moved. He and his crew worked very hard, and came back on the weekend to finish due to power outage of several days, so the floors would be done for Monday move. The old saying of you get what you pay for...FCI was more expensive, but in the end it was TOTALLY worth it. The customer service alone was worth the extra money! Matt went out of his way to help me move a few heavy boxes the movers put in front of sink! The roofer, or cleaner put the "safety/anti burglar " dowel in sliding door wrong, and it was jammed. As I walked to the material I needed to load, one of the young men walked over to me and asked if I needed help. I'm sporting a cane post knee surgery. The young man loaded my item into my truck. At this point, both introduced themselves. I thanked them, and then I told them I had been purchasing flooring from Bartz for 40 years. they thanked me for being a loyal customer. It was important to us that we had a detailed estimate with no surprise expenses at the end. Both Phil and Tony were very helpful with preparing our estimate and educating us on the various flooring options we could choose from.
