Since I had already had some coffee earlier, I decided to get some gelato. The young lady working at the counter was friendly and patient as we decided which gelato flavors to try. I appreciated that they allowed samples to see which flavor you were craving. After looking through the gelato selection, I decided to get their Oreo gelato. Not only is the gelato loaded with flavor, but it is also very creamy. The atmosphere is that of a nice little coffee and gelato shop in Jerome, worth stopping by whenever you are in the area and looking for a cup of coffee or a scoop of gelato. All in all, I would recommend Coppertown Coffee and Gelato to anyone in the Jerome area looking for a nice cup of coffee and gelato. I will be back next time I am in Jerome.

Every…read moretime my wife and I make it out to Jerome, this is one place we simply have to visit--and somehow, it never disappoints. One of the biggest reasons The Clinkscale is so special is the people. The GM, Michael, is always such an amazing individual. Every time we see him, he is incredibly welcoming, personable, and makes us feel genuinely appreciated. You can tell he truly cares about the restaurant, his staff, and the experience every guest has. Our server this time was Lauren, and she was incredible! She was attentive, friendly, personable, and helped make another already great experience even better. The service here is consistently some of the best we have experienced anywhere. And then there's the food. Being the creature of habit that I am, I had to get the filet mignon again--and there is a reason I keep coming back to it. It is honestly one of the best filets I have ever had. Perfectly prepared, incredibly tender, and consistently outstanding every single time. We also tried their seasonal pumpkin crème brûlée, and it was KILLER. Such a great seasonal twist on an already amazing dessert and the perfect way to finish the meal. The Clinkscale has become more than just a restaurant we enjoy--it has become part of what we look forward to when visiting Jerome. Incredible food, an amazing atmosphere, and truly wonderful people. Michael, Lauren, and the entire team continue to make every visit memorable. If you are anywhere near Jerome, The Clinkscale needs to be on your list. Easily one of our favorite restaurants in Arizona and a place we will continue coming back to again and again. Five stars doesn't feel like enough!

I love general store old fashion candy and popcorn. When you first step in the smell of butter and caramel popcorn immediately hugs your senses in a warm embrace. There are rows of bagged candies, rows and rows of truffles in the glass case, and retro candy scattered throughout. It would be a bit overwhelming if I wasn't a popcorn / candy nut. I skipped over the gummies and candy you can find anywhere, skimmed over the retro offering and beelined to the popcorn. I settled for the large bags of caramel and kettle which were reasonably priced. Another customer behind me commented it was too high priced but you get high quality ingredients. Easily taking a tie for the second spot for best popcorn I've had in my life. Both the caramel & kettle are crisp, few to no kernels, and is the perfect level of sweetness. I've been a long-time supporter and patient local observer. The new owners have made consistent wonky staff and menu changes. I'm not a complainer without offering solutions, so I've offered constructive perspective on the issues. However, if I ask you to keep mayonnaise (new addition to old menu item) out of my vegetable burrito because it nauseates me...and all I get is an argument from staff telling me it was alway made that way and the menu states it - when it clearly does not, I have no need to patronize an establishment which is devoid of basic customer service etiquette. The singular change I will not accept is being served up hatred with my order. The new staff - Pam and Violet, have overtly argumentative, unwilling, and erroneous positions toward their basic job function. No matter how much the pastry situation improved - Jessica, everything else has significantly devolved here!!!! You no longer have my patronage, and I am now the local who will overtly steer my fellows elsewhere.
