Completely unprofessional and broke my SIM reader during a simple battery replacement…read more I brought my phone here specifically to have the battery and the charging port replaced. The phone worked perfectly fine otherwise; because the charging port was loose, I had simply been using a wireless charger for over a year, and I just wanted a fresh battery that held a charge longer. While they had my phone, they called me to claim my storage was full and asked if they could delete some of my games. I asked why they were even accessing my internal storage for a strictly physical hardware repair, and the woman immediately got very defensive. I explicitly told them to just do the work I requested. They then sent me photos claiming to show "water damage" on an internal chip. However, the photos showed absolutely no identifying details--no IMEI number or serial number--so I have no way of knowing if those pictures even came from my actual device. When I picked up my phone, it immediately showed a "Not Connected to Network" error. I pulled out the SIM tray and discovered my physical SIM card wasn't even in its slot; it was just floating loose on top of the tray. I have tried to re-seat the SIM card properly into the tray slot seven different times. Every single time I slide the tray back into the phone, something inside catches the card and forces it out of place, causing it to come unseated and lose network connection. When I called to report that my network connection and SIM reader were broken by their technicians, they casually just told me to bring it back. I am incredibly frustrated by the lack of professionalism, the unauthorized access to my storage, and the fact that a simple battery swap resulted in a phone that now cannot connect to a cellular network. Avoid this place. UPDATE they would claim no responsibility for anything. They said my phone was like that when it came in which is a gd lie. They know it and it know it. Better business bureau and Missouri Attorney General office is my next step after flooding the internet with this review. 2nd Update Took my phone to another repair shop who discovered that not on my had they broke the antenna inside so it could not make calls or messages, the battery they supposedly replaced is either faulty or they damaged it too. It will not charge above 1% on either a wireless or a direct cord connection and it gets extremely hot. Too hot to touch so ihad to unplug it to prevent a possible explosion of the battery. I ended up having to buy a new phone for $1299 because of their horrible service. They got pissed because I called them out on going through my phone so I guess they decided to get back. Look who's laughing now. I can afford a new phone. They're going to have to deal with the attorney general's office and the better business bureau as I have filled complaints with both. Plus they can deal with the loss of business from my reviews posted on TRUSTPILOT, YELP, GOOGLE,NEXT DOOR. People do look at reviews. As soon as I find more places to post reviews I will be doing so. So there TXK.

We discovered the place after searching Yelp and driving around Lee's Summit. The guy quickly diagnosed the problem as a busted charging port, fixed it in under an hour and we're on our way. When I walked into the store today to check on the status because on the Asurion website, it only said expected completion date October 19 and has said that since they updated it on October 12, they told me that they called repeatedly, that they had left voicemails because they always do. They were extremely rude about it. I was completely ignored as I was trying to show them my call logs and telling them that they definitely did not call me. They acted like I was being unreasonable. They had a note in their system that they could not get ahold of anybody. This was my son's Xbox that was being repaired for his birthday, and I told the man at the counter that the day I dropped it off on October 5. It truly feels like the man that pretended to call me was trying to keep my son's Xbox. I guess they're welcome to publicly argue with this negative review and all of the clear evidence they were lying, since they wouldn't listen to what I had to say in store.
