The Saturday before the 4th of July holiday, our freezer was not working properly. I called The Fix it Man expecting him to make an appointment for the following week at the earliest. He answered the phone, asked a few questions and asked me to text him a picture of the label inside the freezer. He said he was in the middle of a service call and would call me back when he was done. He called back in about 10 minutes. We talked more about the issue, and he came right over! I was very impressed! Unfortunately, my freezer could not be saved because the model number and brand could not be referenced. However, Mr. Bedwell showed me what to do to keep it useable for about 10 days until I could get a new one. That evening, he called me to say he had a customer with the same model several months earlier, so he had looked up the invoice and found the part. He offered to order it. I said YES! His prices were reasonable. He was very nice and informative. I would definitely call him again! read more

Spoke to the owner in regards to a refrigerator that had an issue. The water was not working, and we needed to have the tubing replaced. He answered the phone quickly, and I explained my problem. He told me it would be $65 to come out and diagnose the issue and that he could come out that afternoon. Really awesome with the quick service! Before he came out, he had research pricing. He took a look at the refrigerator and spent about 20 minutes on it. He told me we would need the tubing as well as the reservoir replaced, as it comes as one part from GE. He told me that the parts would be $125 and he should get them in within the next day or so, and there is a $15 trip charge along with whatever time it would take him to replace. He estimated that it should take no more than 45 minutes (at a cost of $45.) He called me the next day to tell me that FedEx still had not delivered the part but he expected it either later that night or the next day. We made arrangements for him to come out a few days later, based on my schedule. He was very accommodating and said that he could be out between 2 and 4 PM. I also requested that he call first, so I would have a better idea of time. He called this afternoon at 2:30 and told me he should be here around 3 PM. He showed up @3:03. It took him about 25 minutes to replace the part, at a cost of $30. He cleaned up after himself. He is a bit of a straight shooter, no nonsense but capable and curt, but not rude. The only reason I gave him four stars, was due to the $65 cost to come out and diagnose. But he was very punctual and had wonderfully quick service. I would definitely use him again! read more

Purchased a $2,400 washer and dryer model 110 6.2 cubic from sears in Oct 2017 working great. Heard some strange grinding noises last week then 10-14-19 washer just quit. Called Sears to see if we bought the extended warranty and of course they said we did not purchase so we called the fix it man. Well he came out and pressed a few buttons and said its trash. We could spend $800.00 and not solve the problem. We called Sears scratch and dent and for another $1,700 we could buy a new washer with a 5 year warranty. So i called my friend Randy Johnston and within 30 minutes we had the pump off the bottom and removed a pen cap from the water pump. Works great again. What a relief to know we did not have to spend $1,700.Everyone wants to throw everything away and start new. The fixit man did offer to refund the service call read more

Came out to check stove after we shut it off because of the smell of gas. He said it was a faulty knob, nothing else. He never even took stove top off to check burners. He turned gas back on and left. Still smelled gas so had stove shut off again and called the gas company to come check it. Found the stove was leaking gas and carbon monoxide and red tagged it. House could have blown up and I could have died. Don't call this man for any gas related appliances. Wrote him a letter and no response until I contacted Better Business Bureau. He never responded to them. Never even refunded my money for the service call. read more

I am very disappointed in the service I received and would not recommend this business. I was…read morehaving issues with a washer not draining, and was able to schedule an appointment within a week. The tech ran some tests and let me know he believed the issue was a faulty computer board in the machine. It was going to be a $500 repair but given the information and the type of washer it is, I felt it was worth repairing it. Unfortunately, the washer still was not working after the repair. I called back and a tech came out again within two days. He ran more tests and determined that it was an issue with the pump that was causing the washer not to drain. He quoted me another $200 to repair that issue. I don't have another $200 to throw at a washer that was supposed to be fixed after the first repair, so I called to speak with one of their management staff to see what could be done. That's where the issue really began. The man I spoke to continually interrupted me and talked over me. He told me "well you can't expect us to just do more work for free." It's not free, I already spent $500 on a repair that apparently this company doesn't stand behind. He felt that the $50 discount they offered me already on the service was enough and told me to "just put the balance on a credit card." He said "there is no way the tech could have known that the pump needed to be replaced too." The tech didn't run high water volume tests on the pump in the initial appointment, or after replacing the computer board, and that's why the issue was missed. I never would have repaired this washer if I knew it required $700 in repairs and I feel blindsided that there was work missed in the original repair quote. When I tried to explain how I felt to the manager, he kept interrupting me to talk over me. I hung up on him when he raised his voice at me. I don't trust this company to do any more repairs on my machine. They missed work the first time, won't stand behind the work they have done, and their customer service at the management level is terrible.

If you need anything done please contact this guy right here. He saved me hundreds of dollars from fixing my dryer. I called him to come and do a repair but due to COVID he was unable to make it. Instead of him just hanging up he kept me on the phone to tell me the possible possibilities of what the problem could be. He identified the problem, gave me the part number and even told me how to take the dryer apart and where every screw was located. I was so thankful I could do it myself and only spent a total of 10 dollars! My freezer was making an obnoxious noise. I called him in the evening. He came first thing next day. Which happened to be a Saturday. That alone is so appreciated because other vendors are 'wait for Monday's' contractors. Fridge was making noise when he entered. He adjusted the fan. Charged only the service fee and was out of my house in 10 minutes. And that's even with some pleasant conversation mixed in there. Great service. High quality. And higher value. After explaining the issue, he offered extensive feedback on what could be causing the issue and suggested a quick solution to take care of it myself instead of having to pay for a regular service call.
