I assume the folks who live here really appreciate it and I found it nice to have as I traveled through the area. I found the owner/manager and folks inside to be pleasant. I did only give three stars though because of a few things; 1.) there was nowhere to get water. I'm always confused by gym establishments that do not have water fountains; 2.) there wasn't a shower squeegee so that I could clean up the inevitable water mess after using the shower; and 3.) there was some equipment missing that I typically use in my workout, such as kettlebells (there were two 30ish lb ones and two smaller odd shaped 10lb or so kettlebells, no boxes for jumping) I didn't notice jump ropes but didn't look too hard after realizing I already needed to modify my workout plan. None of these things are 'necessary' or deal breakers for going. Here are just things that I noticed that I've enjoyed using at other locations and wasn't able to at this one. Also, I'm surprised by a few prior reviews stating they were being told they have to sign a year contract. I'm not sure if I've ever heard of that requirement. I guess I could have been oblivious to that but who knows.

I didn't like what some of the…read moreother trainers thought about dog training, but when I called Eve she really seemed to have a different perspective than the others. Eve has helped my dog so much over the last few months. She has shown me some wonderful techniques and skills to work on with him daily. Even my 6 year old dog was able to be trained by her and responded quickly to her. If you have a dog needing training she is the one to call!

He's more confident and is able to relax around other people and animals now. I've also become more confident handling him and he senses that. I just bought my 4th machine from Cynthia's (a simple one to teach my grandchildren how to sew, a…read moreserger, top of the line embroidery plus sewing machine, and then a replacement that came out years later that was even better for the embroidery/sewing. I tend to wait months between projects, and then forget some of the steps. Bill (who knows everything about each machine plus which customer purchased which machine, he's amazing!) and the rest of the staff are always patient and helpful. I first came to Bend with a complicated machine that I purchased elsewhere. The quilting shop in Bend wouldn't answer any of my questions because I didn't buy it from their shop. Plus, the staff wasn't familiar with the machines that the quilt shop sold, they had someone whose job was to explain and sell the brand, but she only came in on Thursdays! I am more than grateful of the staff at Cynthia's because of my experience at the other store!
