With this help and guidance and practice, my young golden was able to successfully become a therapy dog and overcome a few roadblocks. Jack has also done consulting for me while I work with my 8 year old therapy dog. His experience and passion for this work has helped make us a better therapy team. I highly recommend Therapy Dogs Central Oregon for dog training and therapy dog training. Donna J

In addition Professional Dog Walking has been added as of Jan. 1 2019 Have you ever imagined being able to volunteer with your "best friend" and visit hospitals, rehabilitation centers, schools, senior/assisted living facilities and others? We can help you achieve this goal! I have the knowledge, expertise and experience to train you and your dog to become a registered therapy dog team.   When I discovered this volunteer position with "Joey" my 1st therapy dog back in the middle 90's I never had imagined the joy that bringing my dog into UCLA Medical Center could bring to so many. This experience changed my life forever. Having directed one of the largest therapy dog programs in the United States and a registered therapy dog handler for over 22 years I understand and have the knowledge and expertise in Animal Assisted Therapy/Animal Assisted Activity (AAT/AAA).

We needed a physical fence alternative for our 2 aging Labradoodles (one of which is deaf) when we…read morerecently moved to Eagle Crest, a recreational community that prohibits fences and off-leash dogs. Our dogs were constantly running across the common areas outside our yard to 'go visit' neighbors and their dogs, while we were constantly running after them to corral them back to the yard. I was skeptical Invisible Fence would work as I had never used a fenceless system before. The price of the system seemed a little steep at first, but in the end we realized it was all sooo worth it for our half-acre lot and 2 dogs, not to mention far less expensive than building a fence would have been had the community allowed it. The training the dogs and I received was top notch, starting with baby steps inside the home and very gradually moving outside with mild stimulation. BTW, homework was fun! Our deaf Lucy took a little longer to recognize the boundaries of our yard, but by the last training session she was well accustomed to it. The trainer, Kim, was EXCELLENT and the dogs loved her! They've had several 'tests' thus far with neighbors and their dogs presenting themselves outside in yards across our common area and while Lucy and Oscar will bark, they'll do it within the yard and won't even attempt to get close to the boundary. BIG WIN!! A game of fetch with Oscar and his ball was even tested when the ball ricocheted off a rock and rolled outside the boundary - FYI, Oscar LOVES his ball! My husband and I both held our breath while Oscar only took a few steps before stopping well within the yard, looking at the ball, waiting for one of us to retrieve it. I'm sure our jaws dropped! We both feel SO PROUD of our dogs now when we're outside in the yard. We're now ready for summer fun in the yard when the seasons change and the community is once again buzzing with people, dogs and outdoor activity! The Invisible Fence system is such a great peace of mind for us, and its made believers out of both of us. Thank you, Invisible Fence!

Not only is the training top notch, but he loves to go. I think he may like Desiree even better than us! It is so nice when we go out of town to know Zeke is happy with Desiree. I know no other place anywhere that literally does training for your dog while they play. Commands like "wait," "back" "break" and many others. She watches the dogs behavior when they play so they do not get too rough with each other. She is an expert in interpreting dogs behavior. She also trains the dogs in groups as seen below. But all of this is done with positive training and kindness for she truly loves the dogs. For warmer days, she has kid pools for the dogs, and for really cold days there is an inside play area. She plays games with the dogs too. When my dog arrives, he flies through the air with ears flying backwards for he is so excited to arrive at Woof to Wow
