My best friend and I thought we'd try out this little cafe on a one-off stroll through Kingsgrove. It was quite a warm afternoon so the small seating area outside really drew us in (even though it's on busy Kingsgrove road). I distinctly remember how, after settling us in the seats outside, the waiter quickly forgot about us and continued running in and out of the restaurant on grocery errands. This did make it a little confusing as to whether we should order from him or straight from the counter. Luckily for us, this is where our usual four hour conversations on the phone come in handy. Our lengthy conversations made it easy for us to forget our surroundings, so by the time he came back our stomachs were ready for action.
Looking back, the food itself was pretty ordinary (regular battered fish and chips) but if you're with a friend and not particularly in the mood for food but a good gab session, those little snack packs come in handy and (pun intended), they're as cheap as chips. read more
