Great Seafood restaurant in the heart of Beverly Hills. Located 200 metres from the Railway Station, Masthai offers some fantastic Chinese cuisine. The food consistently tastes fresh- always important when eating at a seafood restaurant. The undon is great, as is the congee, spanner crabs, giant oysters, jung kong pork and slow cooked soups.
Service is brisk and dismissive. It's a good idea to know what you want, or at least what everything is, because the wait staff we encountered were not the friendliest. But no mind, the food is so damn good it doesn't matter.
Making a booking is a smart idea, because this place can be very busy, especially on weekends. I've been turned away, and told to wait outside a couple of times. No booking, no udon. So think ahead and book a table.
