The only drawback is the on site account manager who did not manage my booking correctly and there is a balance of $160 due to be returned to me + my Christmas groceries and gifts that were removed from the fridge and from my room, $250 groceries & $1000 in Xmas gifts and linens. I understand this was a mistake on the part of the housekeeper and / or account manager as they thought I had left. in fact I traveled to The Mission Inn, Riverside for 2 nights for the holiday festivities and I left a voice mail on the Lazy H Ranch machine to say I will return. I prepaid for my entire visi at Lazy H which was for 3-4 during the Christmas holidays of 2024. I would like to host a conference at this location for my former students from Woodbury University in the future. I suggest a clear written agreement for the 'Lazy H Ranch rental rooms or cottages' is printed with an invoice, statement of services to be provided and then a printed or emailed for payments received. I suggest a print out on the Inn bedroom doors stating rates, fire safety and emergency contacts along with instructions for operating the heating; A/C ; the WiFi., and television. understandably the SDG&E were having power outages for testing their systems during my stay so for 3 or 4 days there was no power or hot water, the Manager provided extra blankets and a discount. It was peaceful on those day s as the restaurant was closed. I traveled to visit Glen Ivy in Corona for a bath and to access internet to send messages home. When these minor issues are addressed the 'Lazy H Ranch' will be one of the finest establishments in California. 2024 - 2025 Xmas & New Year 3 week stay. Juliette Robina Howay M. .

Sitting at the bar feels oddly enclosed and lifeless. Even with open windows, the atmosphere comes across as closed off and quiet in an uncomfortable way, more empty banquet hall than inviting restaurant. Each time, the place felt dead. Service at the bar was also lacking. The bartender was frequently away talking with servers, leaving us waiting a long time for drinks despite how slow the restaurant was. The food was equally underwhelming. The sides that are often praised, including the twice-baked potato, tasted like frozen, reheated items rather than something freshly made. The meat itself was mediocre and forgettable, with nothing that stood out. We really wanted to like this place and gave it multiple chances, but after three visits, we're genuinely confused by the hype.

The room itself was what you would expect from a typical Marriott property. Clean, comfortable, and nothing out of the ordinary. The most disappointing part for me was the breakfast. As someone who eats plant based, my options were extremely limited. I ended up having oatmeal and bananas both mornings while watching most guests enjoy bacon and eggs. I was honestly expecting a bit more variety, especially fresh fruit, which feels like a basic for a standard Western hotel breakfast. On a positive note, the guy sitting on the bench outside was the best part. Overall, it was an okay stay, but I do wish there were more inclusive breakfast options, especially at that price point.

Gaby checked us out and she was super friendly. Our room was beautiful. The bathroom is lovely with a gorgeous huge walk in shower. Only complaint is it was hard to do my makeup because the lighting is very dim, so being a lighted makeup mirror...loved the closet and refrigerator and nice tv. The mattress was super comfortable and comfy pillows too. Breakfast was yummy and loved the coffee and waffle bar. (Don't forget to flip it so the timer goes on, should have a direction for that!) the breakfast area was nice and also an outdoor patio with heater is great. Wanted to take a jacuzzi but it was full with people and it's not very big. The pool is big. The whole experience was great and I highly recommend staying here and hope to be back in future.

You can book online, but I went through Amex Platinum this time. Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out at 11 AM, but they're very flexible. If you arrive early, they'll hold your luggage while you enjoy the pool and amenities or if a room is available, they'll check you in early. There's also an option to pay $50 for early check-in. Once you check in they give you a welcome drink! The property offers so many activities: *Pickleball *Gym *S'mores by the fire pits from 6-10 PM *Kayaking or paddleboarding: 1 hour a day to explore about 1.5 miles along the lake, passing beautiful homes and ducks floating by *Guitar check-out *Golf balls for use on their gorgeous course They have a private, adults-only pool for swimming, plus two large pools in the main area and a Jacuzzi. There's a bar available at the pools, which is convenient. Restaurants: *Almalfi Cuisine: Upscale Italian with an amazing wine selection, beautiful views, excellent service, and phenomenal dishes. *Almalfi Marina: Located below the upscale restaurant. You can sit at the bar to watch sports or at tables overlooking the lake. Happy hour is 3-6 PM, and I got a craft IPA for just $6, such a great deal! *Brickman's: Honestly, not my favorite. Breakfast can be disappointing. My friend's eggs Benedict was just a handful of spinach on sloppy-looking ham with an overcooked egg. The breakfast burrito is good, though, and the view overlooking the golf course is beautiful. Overall, this place is incredibly relaxing. You can choose a room with a pool or lake view, and it offers great value. Kid-friendly, complementary parking, and truly a hidden escape. Highly recommend for a low-stress, enjoyable stay.

Driving in and out of the hotel was a pain. This hotel isn't your typical hotel with restaurants in it. There wasn't food nearby within the hotel so I had to rely on food delivery. At least with the rooms, you can prepare your own food which is a plus. Their continental breakfast was basic, but did the job. The rooms which are coined suites, are large and spacious. The big downfall is really the paper thin walls. Even when wearing earplugs, I can hear the next door neighbors. The noise kept waking me up, resulting in a bad nights sleep. I wouldn't stay here again. Also, they charge $5/day for onsite parking which is obnoxious.

They now charge $5/day for parking. The 2 bedroom was pretty spacious, but is in need for some renovation. The beds were okay. The kitchen area is nice if you want to prepare a meal. However, the pots and pans were not cleaned by the prior occupant/house keeping. The daily breakfast was okay. The hot portion usually consists of scrambled eggs and sausage (pork/turkey). There is also a nice assortment of breads and bagels, oatmeal, and cereals. There are also two waffle makers. My boys enjoyed the waffle maker and the chocolate milk the most. The best part of the Residence Inn for our family is the pool room. They recently added an Arcade OneUp Machine, which you can play for free. You have to give a drivers license now to get the pool table gear. We think has cut down on who uses the pool room. The nightly front desk attendant was friendly and courteous. The workout room is nice for a daily workout and has a filtered water machine to refill your water bottles.
