Moving from my home to Las Fuentes Senior Living. Two workers, non firemen, arrived. One was a good worker, the other, hungover or over medicated. What was supposed to be a 3 hour job took over 5. My adult children who were there to help me did all the assembly of beds, bookcases, etc, The one non-medicated person worked very hard and the cost estimate exceeded $200. Several pieces if furniture were broken and needed repair. They came highly recommended and were very disappointing. read more

First, there were supposed to 4 firemen. The 3 that showed up were not firemen. They did a lot of damage. destroyed my desk, punched holes in the back of my desk chair, banged up the door facings and walls. Banged up and scared up my bedroom furniture. And for all that they charged me over $1200. I would not recommend this outfit at all. read more

Firemen Movers made us a quick appointment after we bought a beautiful Amish roll top desk from Amish Home Decor in Prescott Valley. Two very nice young men named Nick and Andy were the delivery and set-up guys. They were quick and efficient, and did a great job assembling the heavy desk, which they had been carefully instructed in how to reassemble by Dan of Amish Home Decor. We scheduled a move for today 11/20/22 with a 11:30 am appointment time. At 9 am we got a call that they were waiting on us. Asked about our 11:30 appointment and we're told they needed to check in with administration. They could not contacted them. They demanded a $100 per hour charge from 9 am or they were going home. We told them that our appointment was at 11:30 and did not get the truck until 10:30. if they're were early it was on them. They went home and completely abandoned us. Now drove 750 miles, overnight room cost and two senior left horrifically frantic and stuck. They charge my credit card ahead of time. Now I have to dispute with my credit card company. Don't use them them if you need someone you can count on. read more

I've had to move a few times in the last year. And I was responsible for relocations of executives at a previous job. So, I feel I have good experience with movers and moving. But I've never seen anyone like this group. The fastest, most efficient, most conscientious, and kind movers I've ever seen or worked with. I watched our stuff run to and from the truck. they hired my 17 y/o son to help with a move and he has been given the runaround for 3 weeks on getting paid.

OMG!!! Had people arranged to help me move goods from one storage unit to another and flaked on me! Forced to reach out to movers... of course, looked for those that had good hearts (and having been a junior firefighter in high school, I have a soft spot in my heart for these bubbas). Showed up promptly ready to work, even helped me figure out what to do when I couldn't find the key to my unit!! Soooo helpful and kind! these guys!!! Before my parents retired, my dad taught theater and designed and built sets, as well as much of the furniture in the house. After Dad died, Mom and I were delighted to find a friend at a college theater in California who could use the lifetime's worth of tools that had found their way into his home workshop in Prescott. But how were we going to get the tools there? I have no idea how Dad ever got them all there on his own. He built his basement workshop around boulders under the house and the only access is down the back porch steps and around a series of uneven pavers -- scarily close to leaping cactus barbs. Mom heard about The Firemen Movers this year after Prescott firefighters (men and women) came multiple times to help us lift dad in his last few weeks. I didn't realize what a great decision it was to call them until the day came this weekend. (Thanks, Mom!) They sent us a 5-man crew on a holiday weekend. We were the third job of the day, so started a little later than we'd hoped, but the company was good about letting us know what was happening. I'd figured at least 2-3 hours. Especially because the guys might be tired. I figured wrong. Those guys rocked our load-out in exactly 59 minutes! It was unbelievable. They were strong, competent and eager to get the job done. We can't thank them enough. Because of Eric and the rest of this great crew we were able to start our long drive well before dark. I read the other reviews and I will say that if you have anything particularly delicate or intricate, you might want to pre-wrap it carefully or set it aside for special handling. But you would do that with any company. These guys are about strength, speed and the physics of squeezing large objects through standard doorways. Many thanks and a hearty recommendation. read more

I guess my experience is an exception. They dropped the ball with me. I was contacted by a woman in their office, in response to my wanting to book them for my move, but that's as far as it went. She said I would in turn be contacted by a gentleman who would come out and survey my household. He never did. No return calls. Nothing. Very unreliable, at least in my experience with them. read more

Moved us from Prescott, AZ to Vista, CA. Picked up and loaded one day and delivered the next day. Worked around our schedule. They were fast, considerate and careful with our move. The only problems were with our faulty boxing, but other then that they did an excellent job. Gavin and Zack arrived before 2 pm on 8/26 to move my elderly mother's furniture from her old house in Prescott Arizona, into her new senior apartment down the road a few miles. They were completely professional, and were done within about three hours. The furniture was placed where she wanted. No damage, no complaints. The fee was very reasonable. One of the few bright spots of my move. These guys were fantastic! Because of the problems with the company that moved our belongings, we had to have them out three seperate times. I don't know if this will get posted because we didn't get to use this company mainly because the person I spoke to (a female student) was so rude and full of herself. She said she wouldn't move us because she didn't like our attitude. We were nothing but kind to her on the phone, and this was after we had to call them three times before they called us back. We just needed to know if they could do the job or not and how much it would cost. When they finally did call us back, we got nothing but a bad attitude from this student. I guess they don't need the business. I wonder if her manager is aware of her bad attitude or maybe the whole team is that way. It's very sad when you don't know how to treat a customer that you've never met. It shows great immaturity. read more

Prescott. They showed up late because they were lost. The Firemen Movers dented our brand new refrigerator by placing a toolbox next to it and not adequately buffering the two with blankets/padding, resulting in a series of dents in the bottom freezer door. The crew lead said he would get a replacement door. We waited 8 weeks. We called Chris Pena the owner and he called back and requested the links to aftermarket replacement doors, which we emailed to him. Never heard anything after that. Called and emailed Chris to follow up in two weeks, no reply. Called the main Firemen Movers number, no reply. They are cheap and there is a reason. They don't stand behind their work and they do not make good on damage, as noted in a few other reviews. DO NOT USE THIS POORLY RUN, UNETHICAL COMPANY. read more

Excellent service, employing our local off-duty firemen, will do ONE HOUR MINIMUM....only place in town, 1/2 the cost of other movers, will provide up to most any number of movers you request......PERFECT! I needed 8 strong men to do a dead lift of a very heavy grand piano, while replacing carpet. They came twice in the same day to accommodate our carpet layers schedule, to move from one side of the room to the other. So professional and prompt. I highly recommend !!! Support your local firemen.....just don't call if we are having a major fire in the area. read more

We contacted the Firemen Movers prior to a move on 9/15/18 to Salem Oregon. Arron quoted a price, a truck size and a time at which they would arrive. They arrived at almost 4 pm for a move out of Arizona after Aaron saying they would arrive at 9 am. They arrived with a truck that was not the size they quoted. They damaged furniture, artwork and the mirror on my Scion to say NOTHING of the extreme STRESS they caused to us. It was one of the WORST exeriences of my life. I gave them 2 stars because the guys were very polite and helpful, But that's where it ends, they scratched several pieces of furniture, broke a chunk off our antique sideboard, arrived two hours late because the truck that they had reserved was not in town. I told them a couple of times that we had a lot of furniture, I guess they thought they knew better so they were only scheduled 4 hours for our move (it took over 8). They finished in the dark and even though I had labeled each box where in the house they were to go I keep finding boxes in The garage and studio labeled for another room. The owner came to the house to get their check and I was telling him that his staff was very courteous but they needed to have a lesson on how to load a truck he responded to me that he did not appreciate me speaking like "that" about his team, but I didn't appreciate his team breaking and scratching our furniture. On October 7. 2021, we used the Firemen Movers...Ryan, Grant, Brendon, Bradley and Paul showed up right on time at our house. They even called first to let us know they were on their way...along with a call from their office verifying that they were coming one week before our move. I had reserved them 3 months before. They were polite, efficient and fast! They ran in and out of our house with things and never dropped or broke anything! They were extremely careful of our belongings. They were so kind. After they were all done moving our things into our new house, they even put our bedroom set together and then they even asked us if we were happy where everything was placed and if they could help us move anything that we needed to move. We had them move our couch just a foot in a different direction and they were very happy about helping us. We had also called them to help us move some heavy furniture about 2 months before this. Hopefully we will NOT be moving again anytime soon but if we do, we would definitely use them again! THANK YOU and thank you so much for your service! read more

They moved our empty 1000lb spa with 6 guys at a very reasonable price and they figured out the best plan of attack BEFORE they moved anything. Great bunch of guys very pleasant and nice in the whole 1/2 hr they were here! You had a couple of kids in a white dodge pickup that had your red trailer backed into a driveway with your phone number and website on the side and the dodge blocking the whole main street Rockland DR. In Prescott Valley. I was there for 5 minutes and they kept coming out and unloading the trailer. I had 7 cars behind me and then the other way I counted 6. They would not move the truck. They just kept waving. People started honking their horns and STILL they would not move. After another 5 minutes everyone started turning around. Just because of that I will never use you guys and I'm sure everyone else won't either. You need better employees because they make your company look bad. read more
