I requested a quote through Yelp and Tom contacted me within the hour. I explained I needed a large amount of boxes moved from my driveway into the backyard for storage. He sent James out the next morning. I was worried the boxes wouldn't all fit in the shed and some would have to go on the patio, but James is a Tetris master and he fit them all into the shed, and with room to spare! Tom and his amazing crew could not have been more professional, respectful, thorough and careful with our move. They moved my parents ( both in their 80's) from a 5700 sqf home to a 3500 sqf home. They showed up on time ( both days for our 2 day move) and I could immediately see that we could trust them completely. My parents also were able to let go of their stress because their lifetime possessions were in good hands. Every item was moved carefully and arrived with NO damage. None!!! I sure expected this to be a glowing review because my mother had used this company countless times, to move herself and clients of hers. However, when I went to Prescott to pack her up and move her back to Houston to live with me, as things happen, the morning of the move she had to rush herself to the emergency room because she had developed a severe infection in her jaw from a dental procedure earlier in the week. I had to deal with the movers, Nate and Jimmy, who were fine, but very quickly I was handed the phone to speak with Tom, the owner, who literally ripped into me that I had to cover the costs of the move because my mother was nowhere to be found. First of all, at that point, they were only half way through loading the truck, second of all... this jerk had never met me but I knew he had done business with my mother on countless occasions. She had always paid him on time and in full. When I mentioned this to him he said that was completely irrelevant. They don't take credit cards (oh and just as an aside, this is a mover who brings no rope, or twine, or tape, or boxes, or pads... even to sell for your use). In the end, I had to stop what I was doing to fine my mom who was now in the emergency room. Send someone to pick up a blank signed check from her. Beg twine off of strangers, all while listening to this company screaming for their money. It's not that I had a problem with the point being they needed to get paid. It was very much the vile tone and threatening language they used against my mom, in the hospital. My guess is there are other decent movers in Prescott, AZ, who are actually decent people as well. I recommend you use anyone but these people. read more

We needed to move our household goods from Yuma to Prescott between Christmas and New Years, Tom was busy but was able to get two of his trucks down and moved us in 2 days placing our goods into storage until our new house was ready to move into a week later. From the first phone call to Tom I could tell that he was a man of integrity. He was kind and gracious enough to work us into his very busy schedule only a week before our move to Prescott. After I booked him, he called me a few times to confirm the date and then updated me on the ETA on the day of the move in. We needed some men to unload our Penske rental truck. I didn't realize that it wouldn't make it up our very steep driveway and could only be unloaded at the street. My wife and I got a few items out and quickly realized that we couldn't make a dent in it before Tom and his colleagues arrived. When they got here they saw the immense job ahead of them and STAYED. I didn't tell them (bc I didn't realize the steepness) about the driveway but they didn't complain and got right to it. We had a lot of boxes, many of them heavy. Appliances, sofas, etc. The kicker was our 5'8" grand piano that was on a proper piano pad. The three of them (along with some assistance from me) pushed that thing up the hill and then up five steps into the front door of the house. It probably looked like the famous Laurel & Hardy 'piano episode'. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that Tom and his crew are awesome!!! I wished that I had known they do move interstate moves and I would've hired them for it. They go to states all across the west and midwest...at least. We have faced many hurdles in our move to Prescott but one of the highlights was working with Tom Marty and his workers. They unloaded a large 53 ft. van with our belongings and moved everything into two storage units. Four months later, they moved everything out of the units into our home. The workers were efficient, hard workers, and showed care with our belongings. They put beds together without being asked during the move in and always stopped to ask where we wanted boxes if they weren't marked well. The best part, two of the workers came back a few days later and hung mirrors, a TV mount, hung wall lamps and drapes. One of the young men, Nate Marty, came to our house two weeks later and helped us hang large pictures; he is kind, efficient, knowledgeable, called before arriving and was prompt.
