Twice on my returns I was accused of wearing it. Both times ! I couldn't believe it. The first were sweats which he said felt "wet".. and that it seemed I washed them. I asked him if he noticed the paper tags on both spots are intact and if I washed them, wouldn't they have come out shredded? He just looked at me and said sorry. Which is whatever I guess I've worked retail I understand if they have a policy they're trying to enforce.. but just now I bought these shoes yesterday LITERALLY YESTERDAY and my friends suggested I look at Nike for other colors and to my surprise it was 33% off so I order them! Just saved myself some money and promptly returned them.. well I get there the today to return them and she said they're clearly worn so I can't return them.. again with huge fat tags looped on the holes in this shoe. However, there are these two females who work there, one who claims to be assistant manager and co-worker, who say they aren't being discriminating towards Africans but they are. Being racially profiled by them makes me feel uncomfortable coming again. I'm an adult and shouldn't have these issues, but happens everyday. The staff here is friendly for the most part and they do have a wide variety of items. Mostly what they do carry is clothing and shoes. They do have some sporting stuff I know that they carry very limited ice skates hockey pucks footballs, football equipment they do carry baseball bats helmets etc. The staff is hit or miss I went here one time and I had a staff member come right up to me and ask me if I needed help with anything. on another occasion I have the staff just standing around and I had to go up and ask them the question. This most recent time I needed to get a New York Mets T-shirt for spring training in Florida. I went to four different places and I finally decided to come here and they were the only place that carried the player T-shirts. I needed a player T-shirt because I was going to wear my actual game worn player jersey but I figured it was going to be really hot to wear the jersey so I wanted to get the T-shirt with the player name on the back just in case. Unfortunately when I got in the store the only New York Mets T-shirt they had was a Matt Harvey. I would say for baseball clothes 90% of the stuff was for the New York Yankees. They did have bar wear cups mugs. Overall this Olympia sports is a small store if you're coming here for clothes it's a good idea because they do carry a lot of clothes other than that you might want to try a different store just because you might actually have to order it about of their catalog if it's actual sporting goods items.

EXTREMELY MISLEADING. Went into the store because I saw big yellow signs that said 50% OFF…read more Walked inside and began to browse their boots. I came across a nice pair that I was interested in. There was a big green sticker on the boots that said 50% OFF. I looked at the bottom of the boots for an original price of $260. I was shocked by how expensive the boots were, but since they were half off, I decided they were reasonable. I went up to the counter and asked for my size. They gave me the size I needed, and I tried on the boots. They fit perfect and I was so excited to buy them. That's when everything took an unexpected turn. The cashier asked me if I had a membership to the store. I told her I did not and she informed me that I had to pay for a membership in order to get the sale. The membership was $15 because it was half off as well. I did not want a membership so I then told them I did not want the boots anymore. They then asked if I was sure and I was. I left the store feeling very disappointed as well as mislead. The signs that said 50% OFF outside should have specified With Membership. The bright green signs on the boots also should have specified With Membership. It would save time for everyone. There are many people that travel to Chester from out of town, and do not need or want to pay a years membership to a store they are just passing through.

I saw some shorts that had holes in them. So much stuffs are shoved together in apparel sections, it is difficult to check them properly. Overall the store is clean and lots of associates are around to help. Checkout lanes are short and move fast.

Everything is already discounted, but a big chunk of the store has additional reductions. Shorts are 75% off. Most other clothes are 25% off. Shoes and coats are priced as marked. If you were one of the first 100 customers today for the grand opening, you received a mystery gift card. Mine was $10. I ended up getting some really nice winter items at a great discount.
