I asked J Bailey for a price on repairing exterior wall cracks and painting my main house and back…read morecottage. Although his price was fair, because I am on a fixed retirement income I could afford only to have the main house done. I was worried that, because the job was pretty small, he would pass on it (it's happened before), especially since a lot of his work is pretty big projects, but he was very understanding and re-wrote the proposal for the main house only, plus he agreed to let me look on to learn how they did the repairs and the materials they used so I could try to do the back house myself later. He used subcontractors for the work but it was a very small and tightly knit crew, and Jeff Bailey was on site several times to make sure everything was going as planned. This was the first impressive thing about J Bailey--even though my job was a small one, it was getting the same level of consideration as his big jobs. The second impressive thing was how communicative everyone was. They texted daily to inform me who would show up when, and what work they would do the next day, and told me in advance the one day they couldn't make it due to weather. When they were here, they described step-by-step what they did. I was never in the dark about anything. About the contractors: Maynor (sorry if sic) patched all the major cracks. He told me what he used, and described what he was doing and what tools I'd need for my back house. He did excellent work, once the paint was on you can't see any trace of the patch jobs. A father-son team, Ed & Brandon, did the initial pressure-washing, most of the minor crack patches (Maynor came back and helped on one day), priming, and painting. Ed did most of the painting. He showed me what to use for patches and how to work it into the cracks. He used top-of-the-line paint, Benjamin Moore, and did a meticulous job, he got into some pretty difficult spaces to get the porch and patio walls. And even though my back door and steps were not in the contract, he painted them anyway with the leftover paint I had the last time I painted them. These guys do a great job for what they're hired to do, and go above & beyond their contracted responsibilities to make sure the job is not only right, but the best.

Title: Extremely Disappointing Experience with Color Rise Home Improvement…read more I hired Color Rise Home Improvement after the owner, Eber Ferreira, contacted my sister‑in‑law from a contractor list provided by Home Depot. He presented himself as both a painter and handyman, so we trusted him with painting and small repairs in our condo. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. When I returned to check the work, the condo was left in a complete mess. There was debris on the tile floors, paint spots on the floors, kitchen table, chairs, and even inside the kitchen sink. The master bathroom floor had paint spots, both bathroom mirrors had watery paint drips, and dust was left on every surface. The worst part: all of our sheer curtains had been thrown out without permission. Only one was saved after I asked about them. This level of carelessness and disregard for someone's home is unacceptable. I cannot recommend Color Rise Home Improvement or Eber Ferreira based on this experience.

Eber and his team take much pride in their work, are friendly, respectful and clean up thoroughly. Always communicating letting you know what's going on. You can always get a hold of him and he always returns calls. He said he would make my home look beautiful and he certainly delivered. I'm excited Eber & team will be doing my living room next. Thank you Color Rise & Team.

JEFFERY IS NOT A LICENSCED CONTRACTOR. PLEASE CHECK THE LICENSE # BEFORE HIRING HIM. I hired H T…read moreConstruction to install luxury vinyl plank flooring in my foyer, living room and dining room area. Jeffery came to my home and installed my vinyl flooring. The floor cracks when I walk on it and the planks are not properly locked together. Also, when I walk on the floor, I stump my toes because the floor is so poorly installed the ridges from where they are supposed to join are raised off the floor. I tried to resolve these issues with Jeffery with no resolution. Jeffery was rude and constantly talked over me and made it clear that I did not know how a floor should look, and I did not know what I was talking about even though I have laminated flooring in other parts of my home. Jeffery also told me he installed a FLOATING FLOOR. FLOATING FLOORS DO NOT LOOK LIKE THIS, MY FLOOR. It would not take a professional contractor to look at my floor and know it was installed poorly. My advice is run do not walk away from H T Construction. All of the hype you see on their website; not true. They will take your money and not do the work correctly. Also let me add I requested a breakdown of my PAID invoice and have not received that as of this date 07/27/2024. The room painting was done poorly; painted the air conditioning thermostat and vent, window chain used to open and close the verticals. Did not tape off anything just painted. I was also charged for an electrician that never came to replace and check my electrical outlets. Two floor installers showed up to do the floor installation; one was a young man who looked like he was still in high school and did not have any idea of how to install flooring. Jeffery told me maybe the flooring was defective. When I questioned him if the floor was defective, he should have seen that as the floor was being installed and not installed the flooring and I could have retuned the flooring. This was another attempt to shift the blame for the poorly installed flooring to something or someone else. H T CONSTRUCTION & RENOVATIONS INC

Contacted Felix over the phone and he got back to me the next day. Sent him some pictures and he came out to take a look at it. Gave me a fair estimate and showed up 9AM the next morning. He sanded all those spots down, and was able to match it pretty close to the rest of the knockdown texture. Super happy about that. After it dried and painted, it's very hard to tell the difference.
