After my first and LAST visit, I felt scammed. The employee took me around the well-organized store to show me a bunch of products and was able to sell me on one of them. She made a weird comment about them not having an Amazon storefront, so basically I should never buy online because it isn't their product. Well, it's not like they sell only store-brand products so I'm not even sure what that means here, but I do know that when I went home and checked online to read more about the product I purchased, The Face Shop had a $17 markup on the EXACT same product I could get from Amazon. Not The Face Shop brand product, something that is purchased from a vendor that is not exclusive to the store, so the employee clearly didn't want me to find cheaper options online. Even worse, their store policy is only credit for returns. They got me once but I will never return or recommend it to anyone. I wouldn't even bother getting a store credit because everything is so marked up, it's just a loss. Find what you like in this store, write it down, and then find the ACTUAL pricing online (Amazon or otherwise). As I said, many of these products are not exclusive to this brand and I feel like the employee was intentionally dishonest in advising me to not look elsewhere, so any review responses the company has about this saying otherwise is a lie. Wonderful selection of high quality Korean skincare products. The associate was super helpful and showed me around, trying products out on my hand to demonstrate. The products aren't cheap, but they're reasonable, especially being of such good quality. I am using a new line on my face and my skin feels so supple and moisturized without getting irritated. One of my top favorite places to get some Korean products. Known for a lot of Korean celebrity endorsement and effective face serums, they also have a small makeup line consisting of lipsticks and loose concealers. Their Dr Belmeur is pretty good, lots of great reviews. I love their face masks and their serums, lots of options to choose from, all made from natural products. Love the new mineral SPF line, and the good smelling cute hand lotion in a cactus jar. Really great promotions often go on here, when you make a purchase don't forget to ask them for some samples. read more

I think I've been to a Face Shop many years ago in another country and was excited to learn that one of these existed so close to home. I had some time to kill after an appointment, so finally decided to stop in. Such a clean, bright, adorable store filled with a ton of Korean beauty products - a lot of brands I had never heard of. It was midday on a Thursday, so it was quiet inside. I was immediately greeted by Stasia (sorry if I spelled that wrong) who offered a tour of the store. This was a nice touch and she walked me around the perimeter showing me where to find the masks, moisturizers, cleansers, sleep packs, and everything else you could possibly slather on your face. She recommended ones specifically for my skin type and I gladly took her advice on some chia seed cleanser for this oily mug and a moisturizing sleep mask (which made my face velvety smooth last night, btw) just because. Love that this little kbeauty haven is around and their prices are decent. A lot of items around $10-20, but also a few high-end items with equally high-end price tags. I will say I checked for reviews on my goodies online when I got home and found them for a few $ cheaper on Amazon.. so, just fyi. Overall, it's a nice place if you're into doing everything you can to knock a few years off your face. Hi, I'm one of those people. As soon as I walked through the door, I had a temporary boyfrie-- I mean consultant to walk, talk, hold and comfort me on all things beautiful and right for me. Chris was that guy, and made my experience wonderful! The shop is small, but massive. All Asian products, everything I could ever dream of. Nothing that tests on animals and all organic products made from fine ingredients. I was so happy, made a large purchase. Chris literally was with me the whole time I was browsing the beauty store. He offered to rest in face masks, face wash, lotions, blush etc., he did it all. First time customers get samples and also if you purchase over 100$, you get to spin the wheel! I love The Face Shop and really love their oil cleansers, sheet masks, and face peeling products, however lately I haven't gone in because I would like an opportunity to browse and explore the store without being interrupted. I understand it is the sales persons job to ask questions, and to sell the products, but it get to a point where it becomes a bit intrusive and irritating. The product here is obviously high quality and very good, so I am confident people will buy it without the sales person constantly interrupting the customer. I will continue supporting the business because their products are great but I think the sales people and management should have a change in mindset in regards to their sales tactics. read more

I have been visiting this location of The Face Shop since 2013 or 2014 and I have never had a bad experience here. The employees are always super helpful and nice. I always leave with an abundance of skincare products (they have such a wide array of products you're bound to find something that will suit your skincare needs). Also they throw a TON of samples into your bag with your purchase and when you spend over 50 dollars you get to spin a wheel for a free gift. I've been curious about this place for a long time and finally went in this weekend. There was a steady stream of customers coming and going. The products are all very interesting and easy to learn about - little cards with product details in front of testers - as well as test! I wanted to peruse and get a feel for all their products, since there are so many, and ask questions afterwards but kept getting interrupted by "eager to help" sales women who work here. I understand there's a lot to learn from the sales people who are all trained to understand all their products but there's also a way to sell successfully while respecting someone's personal space and reading their body language. Getting ambushed near the door, being followed up with by a second sales person halfway into the store and having the first sales woman circle back to me 5 minutes later is intrusive and ruins the customer's ability to process their experience with your products. I'm not buying a sales person, I'm trying to buy your products. **spoiler alert : I bought 3 products and look forward to using them** read more

We were greeted warmly but without the awkward pushiness I've experienced in my prior visits. I was allowed to walk around and check out products without feeling like they were hovering like hawks. I was so happy to know that there was a Faceshop store here in Colorado and I've been going to this location about once every 6 months to a year~ As soon as you walk into the store the staff members greet you and ask you if you need any help. They are all very knowledgeable about their products and were really great about suggesting products to me based on what I was looking for. One of the workers assured me that they are 'not' paid on commission so I didn't have to feel pressured about who was helping me with what. I got to roam around the store with no uncomfortable pressure to buy a product. I felt like a kid in a candy store~ I bought a good amount of products and got to take home some free samples. Faceshop is faceshop; their products are always awesome so I always love it when I could make the trip to Aurora and the staff members there always make the experience all the more better~ read more

We usually have a very easy enjoyable time shopping here. However the staff and customer service we had at our recent visit was extremely rude and unprofessional. They were pushy with sales and made the checkout process extremely confusing. The assistant manager was bossy and demeaning towards her staff and basically humiliated her in front of the customers. They advertised sales that weren't even applied and was not accommodating when we asked why we were charged what we were charged. It's a shame to see this business go to terrible management. Will likely not be returning until the staff changes. read more

This place is absolutely my favorite hands down. The staff is always amazingly friendly and helpful. Today was probably like my fifth time going into the store and I needed to purchase some rice bran face wash. I have used this previously and it worked wonders for me! My mom also tried it out a few times and she loved it too. It's very suitable for all skin types. It leaves such a clean feeling afterwards! I also love it because it exfoliates your skin and is not too rough/harsh. I took my boyfriend with me and immediately when we got into the store, we had to run over to those Simpsons face masks! They were too adorable to pass by. I also leave the Face Shop spending no less than $50. Not only are you able to spin their cool prize wheel that includes nail polish, lip glosses, face masks, eyeshadow and more, but you always finding yourself wanting to try more and more stuff from them.
