I've been a loyal client of Rejuven8 Wellness Spa since June, spending over $1,300 on regular massages and always showing up early, respectful, and appreciative. Unfortunately, my experience on 10/28/25 was deeply disappointing and unprofessional. I arrived early for my scheduled appointment and even brought a belated birthday gift for the owner, Kaera Anazalone. I explained that I had recently recovered from an illness, was cleared by my doctor, and had tested negative for COVID and flu more than a week earlier. Despite being transparent and cleared as non-contagious, I was treated with visible discomfort and suspicion. Kaera informed me that the session couldn't continue unless I agreed to conditions that made me feel uncomfortable in what is supposed to be a relaxing, safe environment. She even stated that she would "just get it over with because [she] needed the money," which was incredibly unprofessional. When I said I was no longer comfortable proceeding, I was denied a refund or credit for my prepaid $139 session, even though no service was provided. I tried to resolve the matter calmly and respectfully, but was met with rudeness, manipulation, and eventually told I was no longer welcome as a client. For a wellness business, this was shocking behavior. I have since filed disputes with my credit card company, the BBB, and the California Massage Therapy Council. I'm sharing this review to make others aware of how this spa treats loyal clients and how poorly it handles customer care and ethics. Additionally, for a business that claims to be a "wellness spa," having a dog in treatment rooms shedding hair is extremely unsanitary and unprofessional. Save yourself the stress and go elsewhere. This is not the safe, ethical, or relaxing environment it pretends to be.

I had been waiting to get my eyebrows hombre colored since Covid happened, then a bad eyebrow shaping and color botched my brows . I was finally getting new brows, so I went in yesterday after my initial consultation with Mona a few weeks earlier . Wow just wow ! Mona is the Owner of The Face Boutique, and a Master Permanent Makeup and Lash Artist. I was excited and honestly slightly apprehensive because of my previous botched brows , but I had seen Mona's work so I had great expectations. Well, let me say , she surpassed all my hopes and expectations! She color swatched the right color for my brows , it would look great with my hair and skin color and my natural brow color. Mona is a Master of her craft! She consulted and worked with me on the shape , size and color, then she went to work. I looked at the mirror after the first pass and I knew right then and there I had come to the right place and most importantly the right person! I literally fell in love with my gorgeous brows again, after a year of hating them and anguishing over having to be seen with them! Mona executed the perfect brows I had always dreamt of! The color, the shape, everything I had collaborated with her on , she made happen! I am so ecstatic that I FINALLY have beautiful brows! You know what I mean when I say brows are Everything! 5 stars for exceptional, customer service and gorgeous results! I've booked with Mona twice now. The first time was for a full-set, Volume pair and the second was for a Volume-fill. I think it's really important to share that after my first set, my left eye remained red for a couple days. I texted Mona my concerns the morning after my appointment and Mona immediately texted me back with her professional advice. For the next few days, Mona continued to text me asking for updates and pictures while she was on vacation in Florida with her family! She initiated the text every morning to check-up on me until my eye was not red anymore. BTW, the redness I was experiencing was NOT painful and it did not carry into my right eye. I do have generally sensitive eyes, as well as allergies. Mona communicated to me that we would try a different set of pads (the ones that adhere under your eyes) for my fill. I did not experience any redness at all the second time around. Mona is not only a professional, she is truly talented. I don't have naturally full lashes, they're straight and short. I've had my lashes done 3 times prior to meeting Mona from all different lash artists, and Mona was able to give me the most voluminous, longest-lasting results!! I'm roughly 4 weeks out from my last fill and it looks like I booked a Classic full-set. I am not always the easiest client to please...and I can honestly say that I was 100% satisfied. Just had my eyebrows micro-bladed at The Face Boutique. It's almost been a week now, so I am able to see them after the peeling that occurs afterwards and they look absolutely lovely! They look natural and the color of them is fantastic. Mona had a gentle touch and asked how I was doing thee entire way through the procedure. She's very professional and used a crafty tool to measure out my eyebrows(where do the begin? Where's the arch suppose to be? Where do they end?) and drew an outline on them to show me a sneak peak of what my shape would look like before she began the service. This allowed me to give feedback before beginning. In fact, I ended up wanting a slimmer look and she was able to alter the outline easily. I felt so comfortable seeing the outline first and knowing what direction we were heading. They looked amazing right after and even through the healing process they looked great! They are much darker at first than after they peel, but I knew that going in so it was no big deal for me. I have never had good brows. I have always wanted beautiful brows but the only way I could have them was by taking time to not only fill them in but completely reshape them. I had looked into microblading as soon as I started filling in my brows on a regular basis because filling them in got tiring. I had looked around for a reputable makeup aritsit to do this and Mona had amazing reviews. When she did mine she went above and beyond to find the perfect shape and color. Throughout the entire process she was very detail orientated so she could give me the best eyebrows possible. Now 10 days later I am absolutely in love with my new brows. The color Mona used was perfect because it has transformed into a beautiful soft shade of brown. The shape looks better than I ever could have imagined. I wish I would have found the Face Boutique sooner! I have been a happy customer of Mona's for the last 2 months while receiving microblading and lash extension services. I was nervous about getting my brows microbladed, but Mona made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process with multiple applications of numbing cream and a nice cozy blanket. My brows are completely healed after 2 appointments and I am so happy with the results! You can tell Mona is a perfectionist! I have had my lashes done by Mona about 3 times now and I don't know how I ever lived without lash extensions! My lashes have been lasting so long, look natural, and are never clumpy. I had Mona do a full set of volume lashes on me and it was an awesome experience. I have had lashes in the past but Novalash, by far, is the best brand I've had used on me. It's waterproof and oil proof, as opposed to having to wait 24 hours to get them wet like other brands or having to buy special makeup that's not oil based. The lashes are soft, feathery, full, and still have a natural look. They don't feel heavy, I don't even feel that they're there. Best part is that I look done up without even trying! Mona Kent is by far amazing at what she does! I love getting my facials done by her. They are so relaxing and the warm towel over my face is my favorite part along with the facial massage! Mona has also permanently tattooed my eyebrows (because I had tweezed to many when I was younger). My eyebrows have never looked better!! I've waited to put in my review until I had a chance to have my lashes for a bit. Mona uses Nova Lash and she is one of a few that use them in our area. I did my research looked at reviews and finally decided to go in 3 weeks ago. Mona was great and I loved what she did. My eyes didn't sting from the glue at all..and they have held up really well and still look good! In fact almost 3 weeks and I just got complemented on them this weekend. I just turned 60 , still in the workforce and was tired of doing my eyebrows everyday . Horrible with shaping and they made me look tired . I am Asian and didn't know if microbladed eyebrows would look natural . Mona is a shape and color artist . She custom blends and samples many colors , evaluates eye and face shape . I think they are natural and beautiful . I didn't know what to expect but heard microblading could be painful! I found Mona here on yelp, and it was my very first set so i was very nervous on who to pick and what type of lashes i should even get. After literally days and days of looking and pushing it off i decided to go with Mona so i booked an appointment. She got me in as soon as possible, AND even scheduled it at 8am which is an hour before she even normally opens just to work around my crazy schedule. So that alone deserves 5 stars! I can do nothing but praise Mona Kent and the professionalism she displays. I have always been extremely weary about anyone doing anything around my eyes. After a very thorough consultation explaining to me what it was going to entail, I felt completely comfortable and decided to go forward and get eyelash extensions. Mona is incredible. From the first time I met her I loved her immediately. She has a radiant smile and is very warm, kind and welcoming. I have had my eyebrows tattooed and permanent eyeliner applied both upper and lower. I love them. I also have my face sugar waxed once a month and since I started that my, my face feels incredible. Mona loves her profession as you can tell by her work. She takes her time, always asking if her client is comfortable. She is a true professional. Mona has been doing my lashes for a couple months now and I am in love with them! I originally wanted them for my wedding but have decided to keep filling them. I feel so much more comfortable on make- up less days. They're easy to care for and aren't damaged by everyday activities like showering. Mona is very nice and easy to schedule with. Her prices are reasonable and honestly she could get away with going higher from price comparisons I have done with others who also get eyelash extensions. highly recommend Mona and Nova Lash. read more

Mona is amazing! She did my eyelash extensions for my daughters wedding! They are perfect and so beautiful! She made me so comfortable! She is a pro and so sweet! Usually they have better stickers for my eyes to remove them. The only plus was they got me in same day. My usual lash lady was on vacation and booked out so I couldn't get in with her for removal. Thats why I called here but the lady sounded very frustrated trying to remove my lashes. I paid 35 so just was disappointing.

But, I just had to focus on finding a more quality one and here's why: 1. Every time I had my fill with her, I'd walk out of her business with burning eyes. I could not drive right away because my eyes would be super watery and hurt. The burning would last off and on for about a week. Clearly, she doesn't use quality glue. 2. When "cleaning up" my lashes, she would pinch my eyelid at least once causing me to tense up. It was so awful, I've never experienced this before. 3. She would rarely fill every lash as she only filled what she could in one hour maximum. Rarely, did my lashes look like a volume set. I felt like I was just a number to her, trying to fit as many clients as possible into her schedule in one day. If you prefer efficiency over quality products, exquisite customer service, quality looking lashes, I recommend Ashley.

Kim has had a ton of training to do what she does, and it's evident in her work. She also takes the time to take on new trainings as the lash extension world evolves and always makes sure to explain to me what she's doing and why she's doing it. She has helped me learn how to take care of my lash extensions when I'm not with her, which makes them last longer too! Kim is professional and takes special care with everything she does, especially since she's working around my eyes - which I'm SO thankful for! I literally never feel a thing when she's working and always feel super comfortable putting my eyes and lashes in Kim's care. Before I started coming to Kim for my lashes, I had another lash artist doing them, and let's just say it ended poorly and I'm lucky that she didn't damage my eye permanently. Kim takes time to make sure everything is sanitized and clean, which again, I'm SO thankful for. She cleans all of her tools between clients, constantly uses hand sanitizer throughout our appointments, and has added extra precautions with recent appointments given everything going on with COVID. I never feel like my health & safety are being compromised when I'm at an appointment with her. Finally, Kim is just an overall great person. She's so sweet, and we click really well. Every appointment just feels like I'm catching up with a friend - because that's what Kim is to me. She truly cares about me and what I have to talk about.
