Ordering contacts and glasses through Savin Vision Clinic has been a challenge for the past few…read moreyears and has taken anywhere from 4-6 weeks for my items to come in. A lot of the time I have to call and check if they have come in because I don't get a phone call, text or email letting me know. Sometimes they just forget to order my items, especially contacts. The last two times I went in they closed a half hour earlier than their website indicated. When I just called they told me they will stay open for eye appointments if they have them scheduled, but not for walk ins to pick up glasses or contacts, or to have glasses adjusted. So please be aware that whatever closing time Savin shows on their website to allow at least an hour earlier to arrive there. This has been continuously frustrating and I hope this review will alert others and save some frustration for them as well.

My first eye appointment visit to Metro Eye was a good one! My aging and odd prescription is…read moresometimes hard to deal with, and I hate Progressive lenses with a passion. But Dr. Kim heard me out, talked calmly and not like a sales person about my light Progressive options, and heard me out as I preferred a regular distance Rx and a supplemental computer script. I will say they are very thorough. The women who helped pick the glasses out is very disrespectful…read moreand rude. And forget about your Hipa rights. She will embarrass you if you are on Medicaid. I am physically disabled and she shamed me immediately. First, her desk was loaded with paperwork, and I told her the insurance I had she loudly stated, "Oh wait, what type, Let me go see " Everyone in the waiting room heard and what a spectical she made. She then proceeded to take out 2 boxes of glasses and said, " What are you looking for?" I said,"Excuse me, I don't know what you mean." she replied," Metal or plastic?" I am 43 yrs old. I have been wearing glasses since first grade, and I have never been asked questions like this. I then asked if they have a catalog to look at, and she literally threw it on the desk on top of the cases of glasses and said you could look, but it's black and white. WOW. There is more, but you get the gist, so beware. It's unprofessional and just plain rude!! The optometrist shamed my anxiety, I told her she shouldn't treat people like that if they have a fear, you shouldn't shame them, she is young but very good at her job l, just lacks life experience. I have a tumor on my optical nerve, and I need to do a field of vision test, I have anxiety over it she wanted specifics and quickly told me I was being silly. Which is unwise to do for obvious reasons. You need thick skin if you go to this clinic.
