I moved through the process easily. During my consultation with Dr. Murphy, I was fully informed about the tests being done, the results as he saw them, and also my options for further treatment. I felt heard and respected. Dr. Murphy was highly recommended to me by my dermatologist and he is also on the Top 100 Doctors of Milwaukee, so my confidence was good. During the appointment, I was able to schedule the surgery, as well as the two follow-up appointments needed. I was given paperwork with all FAQs I could need, as well as the financial expectations. I left after a very short amount of time and with all the information I would need. I have now had my surgery and that also went incredibly well. I will review this on the Envision review as that is where the procedure was done. I will, however, return to Milwaukee Eye Care for my followup appointments and I have no reason to believe I will be less satisfied afterward.

My 84 year old father, an established patient at this facility, had an eye emergency this morning…read more I called to see if they could fit him in with anyone and they had no openings at no locations. We ended up going to urgent care which is down the hall from his doctor's office. urgent care was unable to help him as they didn't have an ophthalmologist on staff and told us to go to the emergency room, 15 miles away. After urgent care and before the emergency room, we walked over to the Milwaukee Eye Care Office to see if there was anything they could do and was told simply "sorry go to the emergency room". This facility appears to fine when providing care if it's scheduled well ahead of time but if you need them in an urgent situation they will have zero compassion. I will be getting him a new doctor that can provide care when it's needed not only weeks in advance. We could have waited as we have been in the hospital's emergency waiting room for several hours now without being seen.

A refund was refused and management never followed up with my complaint. Please beware of providers taking advantage of seniors. If I was informed that a specialist fee was to be charged I would have went elsewhere!

I honestly found it a little bit stressful that it wasn't sent in advance, and I worried that my service was cut short by the time I spent filling out the online form. It would have been very lovely to have been offered something to drink during this process. I also felt like my facial/peel was very short, and I did not notice much of a difference. Because it was a cold and snowy day, I would have loved if they would have been offered me a blanket right away when I laid down on the table for my service. She did give me one later in the service, when the moisturizing mask was doing its job. Overall, my complaints are pretty minimal - really more details that would have taken the experience to a higher level. Being an artist and author, you can imagine how distraught I was to be experiencing severe blurriness in my right eye. I already had my prescription changed 2xs within 6 months. I sought out another opinion and found Dr. Weinlander online. His credentials were astounding, and he had good reviews. Today was my initial visit, and I couldn't be more pleased. The secretaries at the front desk were so pleasant, and Dr Weindlander did not rush. He heard all my concerns and came up with a strategy that would take care of the issues I addressed: like severe allergies and not being able to lay flat. His demeanor shows confidence and understanding. He was very calming and positive. Whereas, before I was dreading surgery, I am now looking forward to getting my eyes fixed. read more

I was encouraged by another eye surgeon to get a second opinion about my seemingly slow recovery 8-months post surgery. I was referred to Dr. Weilander. I had a lot of questions which Dr. Weilander patiently, respectfully and clearly answered. He took the time to take photos of my eye and show them on a screen to describe the healing process. Had a great cataract surgery from a really great doctor. Dr. Wienlander really helped me see better than I have for years! He was so nice and took plenty of time really explaining everything and answering all my questions. I cannot recommend him enough! Don't believe the low review. I only had to pay my regular coinsurance & deductible, so I don't know what that other review is talking about. Maybe he doesn't know how deductibles work. read more

Everyone was very professional and I was only in the waiting room for about 5 minutes - way better than my last eye doctor's office. I then asked if they have a catalog to look at, and she literally threw it on the desk on top of the cases of glasses and said you could look, but it's black and white. WOW. There is more, but you get the gist, so beware. It's unprofessional and just plain rude!! The optometrist shamed my anxiety, I told her she shouldn't treat people like that if they have a fear, you shouldn't shame them, she is young but very good at her job l, just lacks life experience. I have a tumor on my optical nerve, and I need to do a field of vision test, I have anxiety over it she wanted specifics and quickly told me I was being silly. Which is unwise to do for obvious reasons. You need thick skin if you go to this clinic.

I was never uncomfortable or concerned, and before I knew it, I was finished. I was out the door at 10:00 am, ready to start my healing. I had all the directions I needed, as well as instructions for any additional help or support.
