"Well we're a little short staff and we do not want to cut the other brides and the MOB AT 11:00 am short." Which I'm completely understanding of being short staffed however maybe next time when you phrase it don't emphasize you prioritize some people over the other lol. Exquisite Bride genuinely SAVED my wedding day. I had an absolute nightmare at another bridal shop (MB Bride--stay away!!), resulting in that shop leaving me without a dress five days before my wedding. My now-husband called Exquisite and explained my situation, and they fit me in the next day. The Exquisite Bride staff went completely out of their way to put me in a new dress, get it altered, and did it all in an atmosphere of genuine care. They could have easily taken advantage of my situation, but they did exactly the opposite. They were patient with me as I sifted through dresses, never made me feel like a burden, and talked with me like a family. You feel like a bride, not just another number when you walk in. I went here to pick out a wedding dress. The place was far too small for how many parties they had scheduled too look at dresses. The woman who helped me was Linda. She constantly kept leaving the room to go help other people. I felt like I was not her first priority. She didn't really listen to what I wanted. She kept bringing dresses for me to try on because she loved the way they looked, not because they fit the criteria of what I wanted. I eventually found a dress I liked and was hesitant on it because of the experience. The owner gave me a discount so of course I went with them. When the dress comes in they called my sister because her number was on file since she made the original appointment. My sister gave them my phone number and instead of the bridal shop calling me they told my sister to do it. I brought up my complaints and they didn't seem to care. I had a horrible experience at this bridal store and especially with Linda, the sales lady or whatever you'd like to call her. She was SO NASTY! I went once, found the dress I wanted, and ordered it right away. When it came in, it was so tight that I could barely breathe or bend over (I weigh 112 lbs and definitely did not gain weight). The bigger issue was that there was a long string hanging from the bottom of the dress. We asked to speak to the owner who said it was unacceptable and he would be sending it back to the designer to either get fixed or have a new one made. About a week later, I received a call that they could not fix my dress and a new one was being made. No time frame was given since it is a custom dress. A few more weeks go by and every time I called to get an update, they were SO RUDE. About a month after this, I was finally fed up and asked to speak to the owner for an update. It was at this time he told me my dress was being fixed, not a new one made. Oh, and he also told me that no one ever told me that I was getting a new dress and the reason I was saying that was because I gained weight! After a few more phone calls, I was miraculously told I'd have TWO brand new dresses (different sizes) within a week and I could choose which I wanted. I was lied to many times and was treated so poorly. The owner had the audacity to tell me that the reason I asked for a new dress was because I gained weight!! After spending over $2,000 in their store, you would think they would treat their customers differently...As soon as my dress came in I got it and ran out of that store. NEVER AGAIN! read more

Even with all the COVID restrictions, they still made the experience really special. They are taking lots of precautions during COVID and I felt completely safe in their store. I went to Exquisite Bride for a trunk show last year just to window shop and ended up purchasing my wedding dress for $200!!! It fit perfectly, I didn't have to get any alterations. If you're looking for a dress and they have a sale, I suggest you check it out. The only downside is the one lady was a little rude when my friends and I came into the store. I went out today just to window shop for a bridal dress. We went to a few other shops beforehand and there was nothing to be found that I was interested in. So we drove 45 minutes to the Exquisite Bride, hoping to find more options, and we found more than options. We walked in just to look, but Lynda and DJ were so accommodating, they took us right in to try on dresses. After trying on about 15 dresses that were all gorgeous, since they have such a great selection, I found the dress I just couldn't walk away from. The best part about dress shopping here was the atmosphere - it was relaxed as they let my mom and I pick out dresses to try on and the staff picked them out as well (Lori ended up picking THE dress ) ! I was able to take as many pictures as I wanted and re-try on dresses as many times as I needed to feel comfortable with my decision. The Exquisite Bride IS thee best bridal boutique in the area, HANDS DOWN. It's a pretty far drive from the city but it's totally worth it. Their service was phenomenal. They cater to your every need, listen to what you want and try to work with you to find the right dress. You don't get this kind of service anywhere but a boutique store like this. You'll also have your own private space, as in dressing room. Plus, they'll never rush you out like big corporate chain stores do. On September 1st 2018 I was married at Disalvos station to my boyfriend of 9 years. I had the perfect venue, the perfect decor and flowers, the perfect man, and what I thought was going to be the perfect dress; here's where it all goes south. Let's back up a bit though to give you the full experience I had with Exquisite Bride. I purchased my dress from wonderfully helpful sales women in February of that year. The dress itself needed some major alterations to fit me however I was assured that given the purchase time of the dress (8 months out from my actual wedding) the alterations would not be a problem. Then began the fittings, we're in what I believe to be May now. I was once again assured that even though there was major work to be done their professional seamstress who was "top notch" could handle it. So we went with it. We went back again a month later, there wasn't as much work done to the dress as we had hoped but it was only June. July again we went back for what was supposed to be my 2nd to last fitting and this dress is no where near done but we had about 2 months an extra fitting and it'll be fine.... Here we now, 2 weeks before the wedding and its not done, not even close. I'm beginning to get a bit worried. Aain we're reassured it will be perfect. I go back for my final fitting a week later and she has done nothing on it. Let me repeat that for you, one week out from my wedding and it is not even close to done. At this point I am worried, I am crying, and I am beginning to question ever having alterations done here. 3 days later, 4 days before my wedding, ee go back and it's still not done. I'm fitted and told that since I will be decorating the day before my wedding I could have someone else pick it up for me. anyone who has ever had to decorate their own venue will tell you the day before your wedding is chaos. I'm PROMISED it will fit like a glove. Assuredly so. Promise promise promise. Everything will be perfect. We're now at September 1st. I put the dress on, and the boning in the dress looks like a shark fin. Amidst everyone's panic my amazing photographer who does minor alterations had to cut and sew out the boning of the back of my dress. Crises averted let's move on right? Wrong. Before my ceremony the haphazard stitching on the side of the bodice of my dress begins to rip, the applique is falling off left and right, but I have to walk down the isle so we dress tape it. I get through the ceremony only for it to rip more as I'm breathing. Now here's the fun part, by the time the reception has started I can no longer wear my perfect wedding dress, and my husband had to leave our reception to go to the hotel and get my rehearsal dinner dress. Wedding day ruined. I contact the store, I am furious and sad and crushed. The guarantees and promises were straight lies. It took me until the end of October to finally get assurance that I will receive a total refund on alterations and a free dress repair. I have called the store 6 times since then over the past 9 months, I never get a call back. They have my dress and it is still not finished and I am done. Be smart. Do not go through what I am still going through, get your alterations done outside of this store. read more

Lyndsey was amazing as a bridal consultant. They were my third bridal salon of the day. The first was too pushy, the second didn't have the variety I was looking for, and (not to sound like Goldilocks here) EB was just right. Lyndsey was patient as I showed her what I liked and explained my vision. She was also accommodating with my large group of 7. The only reason I am giving them a 4 rather than a 5 is because when we first arrived, we weren't on the schedule even though I booked them six months previously. Personally, I had a terrible experience. First, I visited this store because I was interested in a Maggie Sottero dress and when I called about it, they said they did not have that one but had "many others like it" which was false. At my appointment, the woman I worked with was very rude, spoke over me, and did not listen to anything I said in regards to what dresses I did not want to try on. "Just try it, you never know". I understand this is typical but as it was not my first place I shopped at, I had a good idea of what I was looking for. The first dress she put me in was form fitting which I said I did not like from the start and she actually said to me "oh you don't look very good in this, huh". She also made comments about me sweating (even though we both were), suggested a plus size store for me to visit, and suggested I try on ANOTHER form fitting gown solely because it was "my size". Luckily this was not the first place I visited and I am secure in my body but I would definitely NOT reccomend this place for another other plus size women or women in general. read more

This is a great location for not only wedding dresses, but also prom dresses. Their prom dress selection was to die for! Not to mention the unbeatable service and helpfulness the staff offered. Rows of prom dresses jam packed together, so you don't have to worry about their selection being short on styles. I was worried at first it would be more of a bridal store, but once you walk up those stairs, it's prom heaven! They have a pedestal where you can stand and get pictures in front of a big mirror with heels (if you didn't bring your own) to try on so you can get a really good feel for the dress. The staff there isn't the usual breathing down your neck making sure you don't touch a dress wrong, but rather they are respectful and always ready to help! I never thought I would be the bride that would have a difficult time making a decision about my wedding dress. After about 4 visits in total to Exquisite Bride (2 trips to Gibsonia and 2 trips to the Murrysville location) I started to become overwhelmed by all the options and in result started to second guess myself. However, every visit I was greeted with a warm smile, friendly, and upbeat staff who were extremely patient and determined to help me find the right dress--no matter how many visits it would take. I cannot say enough good things about this boutique and their professionalism. The entire team including Judy & DJ-store manager (at Gibsonia) and Tracey & Mataya (at Murrysville) who made my experience truly enjoyable and memorable. Consultant I had was less then helpful. She did not ask questions about the wedding or offer suggestions as far as fabric, style for my body shape etc. In retrospect, I hate my dress...it was the wrong fabric (heavy satin in June, I was dying hot after 10 mins), the wrong body shape (I am thick in the middle and ended up in a drop waist?!?), and two sizes too big for me. They go by this book to judge what size you should order, be wary of this. The dress was way too big and since the top was corseted the seamstress did not want to take it in so it fell down the whole wedding! Bridal stores with a quality selection are limited in the area but, I would go elsewhere if I could turn back time. I wish I knew then what I know now! If you do go here, you better have a good idea of what you want first...think about fabric and what shape looks good on your body etc. Wedding photos are forever... read more

I had an amazing experience shopping for my bridal gown here. Linda was my consultant and was super sweet! They had great dresses to choose from and the staff was very attentive and helpful. My bridesmaids and mother also had a great experience here shopping for their dresses. I was hesitant to get alterations done here because I read other reviews on how expensive they were. However, I wanted to make sure it was done right, so I stuck with them. My alterations were over $350 for the sides to be taken in slightly, a hem at the bottom, and a bustle. One of the ribbons was off of my bustle before we even walked down the aisle. I ended up stepping on the side of my dress and, since the material was slippery, I fell in front of all of the guests. Mortifying! My dress was strapless and the wire at the top of the one cup was flipped out the entire wedding day. The seamstress knew this was an issue at my last fitting. I thought she was going to fix it, but apparently she didn't. In this case, as far as alterations, you definitely DO NOT get what you pay for. Take it somewhere cheaper. Exquisite says that the seamstresses do not work for them. If you ask, they will give you a list of seamstresses in the area who, from my bridesmaids experience, will do the work MUCH cheaper. This is a good place to shop, but nothing beyond that. If you get your dress(es) here, buy it (them) and then pick them up and do the alterations elsewhere. read more

Making an appointment with the seamstress is a nightmare. She is great, but the space is so tiny and they totally overbook. When buying the dress they marked a request I made regarding my alterations on "my card" and 2 months before the wedding it became apparent that the request made never came to be. Also every time I went there (which was about 6 times total due to the mix up) someone was always frantically looking for someones dress, like they misplaced it. There is one thing that these employees have to remember: You are assisting someone who is preparing for the what is said to be the most important day of their life. You are in the business to bend over backwards for your customers. I understand being busy and stressed out at work but if you are not interested in treating your customers in this way than you shouldn't work there. I'll be writing my own review of the most god-aweful experience I had! After I read the above review, that person was 200% RIGHT! God help you after you pay for your dress because once you do, you're just a number to them. Mateya actually put me in one size larger (I tried the sample on before) and I ended up having a HUGE alteration bill! I'll elaborate more later. I had good service from the Exquisite bride in Murrysville but not their seamstress "Alts by Debra" . She had ruined my mother of the bride dress by taking the dress in too much and cutting off the material when doing so instead of tacking it to make sure it was correct. She then pieced it, sewed it crooked, etc. Then when showing her things that were wrong with the dress she stomped off like a child. I had to buy a new dress!! I did call the manager of the store and she had stated that the seamstress was not part of the store but she would talk to her. The seamstress never called to offer anything. In my opinion if you have a seamstress coming into your store then the store is responsible for her. I would advise if you are going to use Exquisite bride to find another seamstress!! read more

My daughter just said "yes to the dress" tonight at Equisite Bride in Murrysville. This was our second time here. We went to a total of 6 different places. The big bridal shops weren't a very pleasant expereince. (I will be giving an extremely negative review of a bridal shop in Mt. Lebanon.) We did like one other place and they had the same gown, but she wanted to compare two and EB had both of them. The staff was very accomodating both times we were there. We were not rushed and we were left alone so that we could talk freely. No one put any pressure on her to make a decision. The first time, it was just Mom and daughter. This time, Dad, future mother-in-law, future grandma-in-law and maid of honor went. It was a unanimous decision. Prices are good (I'm so used to watching all the bridal shows - prices at places like Kleinfled's are just insane and so are the people who feel they have to spend that much money).
