My daughter made an appointment at this bridal shop to see wedding dresses and have a fitting. From the moment we walked in we were treated like special guests. Our person assigned to helping us was Jacqueline and she was kind, attentive and professional. She took a lot of time explaining the process to us about the dresses, the philosophy of the store and we were just all enthralled with all of it. What was truly amazing, was that she helped to select dresses based on what my daughter said she was looking for and brought exact dresses that she was hoping to see. I didn't know we were going to find the dress, but my daughter did and it was beyond anything I had ever expected. I had an appt with MB BRIDE this last Saturday fully expecting to find my dream dress for my…read morewedding. I did everything to best prepare me for a smooth and seamless experience however it was anything but that. I did my due diligence of researching dresses available online to try on in store. With providing the associate those numbers he was not at all helpful in finding the numbers I had saved on my phone and dismissed my efforts. I did not try on one dress I had found online because he didn't get any of them before. He also mentioned I had called Thursday asked over the phone if a dress was available I saw online and they added that to my cart. However, the associate did not pull that dress for me to try on. Not only that, but they also could not assist with trying on dresses. This associate was a male that hindered their ability to help me step into out of dresses and show me how to properly wear each dress whether it be sleeves or lay the train correctly. Instead of it being a relaxing appt for myself, my mom, MIL, SIL, grandma, flower girl, and nephew, it turned into all hands on deck with not only helping me into and out of dresses but hanging them on hangers, buttoning and laying the train correctly. The associate kept repeatedly saying dresses with sleeves were hard to find however my 13 year old nephew went throughout the store and found dresses for me with sleeves. The associate did not provide any help or select any gowns that aligned with what I wanted. A lot of the visit they were absent. I kept saying where did he go. Also I kept trying to tell the associate what I liked and did not like of a dress thinking they could use their knowledge to pick some options for me, however that was not the case. The only selection he chose for me was horrible. It was an outdated stained 3 piece set. What could've been a very nice outing for my mom and soon to be in laws turned in to a stressful experience of us all fending for ourselves. Another issue is how small the fitting rooms were. I was at a disadvantage with having a male associate and not being told ahead of time because my mom had to do all the work of helping me into and out of dresses which led to the experience being horrible. By the end of the visit I was very frustrated and discouraged with my appointment and felt as if it was a waste of time. The whole experience felt as if the appointment was nonproductive, especially when the associate did not even take into consideration the dresses I had saved on my phone to view. I did not realize MB BRIDE was a self serviced store.

What I really liked that you could look at the dresses yourself and pick out what you wanted to try on. A lot of salons don't let you do this. You tell them what you're looking for and they pick out the dresses. I'm sure this requires more work on the businesses end, but I do appreciate it. I saw all the styles you'd expect to find including mermaid, silhouette, a-line, fit and flair, ball gown and some trendier choices like non-white dresses. THEN the real show stopper - a traditional cut strapless fit and flare dress covered in a sequin underlay so it sparkles like the sun. It was truly breathtaking. That's the special one my friend went home with. There's a room you can go into to get dressed, and the attendees will help you. They also provide strapless bras if you didn't bring your own, nice touch! Again, the people working couldn't have been nicer and were so patient and answered all our questions. It was a truly pleasant experience. Prices seem to be very much on par with most boutiques, I think you just have to come with a budget in mind. I will highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great experience.

My daughter chose her dress in February of 2023 and it was paid for. Her wedding date is May 25th…read moreof this year. We were able to pick the dress up yesterday!!! My daughter called over 2 months ago and was told "waiting to be shipped". I called a month later and was told the same thing and that there was an issue with another bride's dress whose wedding was before my daughter's . That is not my concern or should matter. I was also told by the owner MaryBeth that "we are cutting it close" and she would see what was going on. I made sure she knew that I would take further action if needed. The tracking number for the dress was provided within 2 days and was not even shipped priority but took a week to get there. My daughter had to call them to set up a fitting. I truly believe if she did not call, they would not have contacted her until after April 1st ( the shop is closed 3/22 until 4/1). When questioning the time frame for fitting and alterations the second time, MaryBeth stated " there is plenty of time for that" ,contradicting herself. We picked up the dress and chose to not have the seamstress, (who was a lovely lady and helpful, more than the owner), do the alterations. Marybeth was there and did not offer a single apology and did not speak more than a few words. The service received here was the worst experience I could imagine any bride going through. My daughter did her research prior and the reviews were good. Ladies do not choose this retailer unless you plan on staying On top of them each step of the way and want to listen to BS . Did I mention that I myself was able to contact the company that the dress was ordered from once the tracking was provided and was told by a great representative there that the dress was only recently ordered and paid for!? Whether you choose to pay $500 or close to $3k like we did, keep your eyes on the prize with this company ! Don't let them add extra stress to one of the most important days of your life. Shame on you Koda Bridal and MaryBeth. How in the hell have you not gone out of business yet? SMDH that day does not seem far off for you.
