Ushers were fast, efficient, and friendly. Went to see Brian Regan and it was a funny set. You could bring in food/refreshments from the bar outside but we didn't grab any. Awesome seats (row 6 or FF, in center aisle) Downsides: it was so hot in there like uncomfortably warm. Rest of casino was fine. Seats are jammed together (think folding chair but attached to neighbors). Overall fun but I couldn't have survived much longer due to heat in there. We attended our first and last concert at this venue. The Band Perry has to be one of the worst live shows we have attended. The venue is small and has terrible acoustics. The music was so loud it was almost impossible to understand any words of the songs. They began with the absolute worst rendition of Take Me Home Country Roads we have ever heard. They made it sound so sad and gloomy. We lived in Japan and heard the Japanese "sing" this song, which is one of their favorites, and they didn't sound this horrible. The seating is awful. The floor seating appears to be metal folding chairs with a cushion on the seat. They make the "cheap seats" to appear to be balcony type seating; however, they are not. We were told no one was to sit in the very front row, so I purchased seats in the second row so no one would be in front of us. Well, security allowed a bunch of drunks to come down and sit in those seats and disrupt our view and enjoyment. The cost of drinks and popcorn is outrageous. $4 for a bottle of water and $8 for a small bag of popcorn. read more

For a venue space in the casino, it does the job. Had the pleasure of seeing 311 and the Tropadelics here at the end of September. My buddy Lance and I arrived in and saw some great performances from my favorite band and another cool opening artist. So they basically took a venue of a small auditorium at a casino and turned it into a music venue. There's a bar at the back with the merchandise tables on the left side of the stage. Be weary of drinks as you will be waiting, and waiting, and waiting since the taps pour very slow. The stage itself isn't large but the sound does bounce of the walls giving an echoing vibration which is pleasant. Not much else to say. There's a couple more acts/concerts booked here so I may find myself here again. Of course, I'm always here if 311 is bringing the boom! read more

This is my current favorite venue. I've been to maybe 4 shows here. I love the free garage parking, the fact that there are food options before/after the show, and something to do if you get there early (gamble). The venue itself is nice, with great sound and lighting. You do have to exit the concert area to use the restroom, but it is right there and there are no lines. There is a bar set up outside of the concert area, and another inside for some shows. For most (if not all) shows, you can avoid ticket fees by buying tickets at the box office vs. online. I constantly check the schedule to see what's been added so I'll have an excuse to come back here. read more

Have seen only one performance at the Event Center in CT-.3-10-23 -That was David Brighton doing David Bowie songs. . Brighton is probably the best $15 I have ever spent on entertainment in my entire life . He knocked it out of the park!. You were actually able to walk up to the edge of the stage with camera. It was an incredible performance. Brighton has Bowie down real good. Especially the voice HIGH KUDOS to him and his band. Warm up band "strange souls" was good too "Doors" songs However the event center itself leaves much to be desired. Just a warning . there was a slight haze in the upper air yet no one seen smoking . Apparently CT ventilation system can't handle a packed house on a weekend. smoke tends to some how get back to the event center and create a slight haze under the upper lights. The sound setup was out of balance , Way Way too much Bass booming out , for me, so much in fact it would vibrate the seats way in the back. I like to hear the words myself. BASS should have been turned down quite a bit. I still recommend the Event center for Rock groups tho, just set in the far back to protect your ears. read more

Top notch music venue! Great sound, lighting, and there isn't a bad seat in the house. Has both floor seating and elevated seating. The 2 giant screens are nice too if you're sitting in the back. Get there early enough to have dinner at one of the casino's restaurants or do some gambling if that's your thing. read more
