It feels like a family the minute you start working on a show, and you can really get down in the dumps when the show ends. The caliber of talent I've seen and met over many seasons keeps me and my family coming back. It's truly one of the best theatre experiences in the DC metro area. As previous reviewers have mentioned, it's a small and intimate black box style theatre with limited seating - so, get your tickets early because their shows often sell out! I adore Other Voices Theatre on every level.

I look back on my time there with extreme fondness and graciousness. I was given a strong, well-rounded training in all dance styles. All of my teachers were wonderful and able to give me a true dance education that made me appreciate the art form that is so often overlooked in our society these days. The owner Emily is amazing and is able to foster a dance studio environment that is strong and safe. My appreciation of dance came from this studio and led me to pursue dance in college. I received my degree in dance from WVU, and I have now gone on to teach dance and inspire the next generation. I always carry the experiences I have from DDH with me as I teach and try to embody the environment I was granted in my childhood. I would feel 100% comfortable recommending this studio to any child/dancer/family.

Usually you feel so rushed at these dinner/shows but we had plenty of time. The food was very good and there were choices that should have made everyone happy. I cannot say enough good things about this performance!! We absolutely enjoyed it. None of us had ever been to a Murder Mystery before so we were ready for something new! The 2 Cast members were amazing! They kept us entertained and laughing the entire time! At the intermission, they have coffee/tea and desert at the same time. We appreciated this because you're always too full to eat desert with dinner but this gave everyone plenty of time to be ready for the delightful carrot cake they provided. The 2 Stars also stood around after the event to talk to everyone and take pictures! I highly, highly recommend this event! What made it even more special was that I was able to take my 15-year-old also!

We attended an Agatha Christie-inspired event. It was held in an industrial park building on the…read moresecond floor and came with food. There was a buffet. After that, I have to say things went off the rails a bit. For a start, this is the first "theatre" that had no stage. Not a small stage, no stage at all. We found ourselves, a group of 30-40 people crammed into a large room on the second floor with barely any room in July with AC so weak it was never below 76F. Then the show began. I was expecting a curtain to rise and a stage to appear, but sadly all the story and acting was done between the tables. I will say the acting ranged from surprisingly good to the obviously inispired acting of the audience members who decided to join in. The story was comedic and easy to follow, with references to Sherlock Holmes and even Indiana Jones. Sadly the heat and the terrible location without a stage made it hard to enjoy when the cast is constantly moving around. If they get a proper venue, I am sure they do wonderful things, but this was more like a test run. That I paid for.

The theater wasn't overcrowded, the staff was friendly, and everything was clean and welcoming. I ordered the "Shame on Brie" sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious--honestly much better than I expected from a movie theater. My son had the BBQ chicken flatbread and he really enjoyed it too. The food was fresh, flavorful, and definitely a step above typical theater fare. Overall, we had a wonderful time. Between the affordable Wednesday specials, great food, and relaxed atmosphere, I would definitely recommend Warehouse Cinemas in Frederick and will absolutely be back!

Huge upgrade from your typical theater experience. They also go beyond just movies. There's a full bar, real food (not just popcorn), and everything I've tried has been good -- most recently the BBQ chicken pizza. They also do themed drinks for new releases, which is such a fun touch. I love that they offer $7 Tuesdays (which do sell out fast) and regularly host events. I recently went to their Trailer Fest, and it was a great experience -- tons of previews, food samples, giveaways, and just an overall fun vibe. They also show throwback movies and have a rewards program, so there's always something going on beyond just current releases. Every time I bring someone here, they end up loving it too. It's clean, well-run, and just a really enjoyable movie experience all around.

I don't fully remember the experience but when we got in line, it brought me right back to my childhood. The audio was pretty good although it didn't have much if any bass and I might not have really noticed except when we first got there, we used the car stereo. But we couldn't keep the car running and that 5 minute timer was annoying so we pulled the speaker into the car. It started raining so that made a hot and humid night worst because the rain didn't cool it off at all. It just made it hard to see through the windshield when the vehicle wasn't on because we can't have the vehicle running for obvious health reasons (what were we doing back in the day???). For me, the concession stand was the best part of the experience. The staff was helpful, polite and pretty proper for kid's standards these days.
