This was such a fun experience that not only got us moving but also made us think for a few hours! our group started with doing the highest and we were able to escape with about 15 minutes left and when we were about to leave and go out the front door the manager stopped us and asked if we wanted to do another one at a discounted rate. We said yes and took time to walk next-door and get some food and then came back and did the playground which was a lot harder than expected but we got out of there with about six minutes left. The staff was super friendly and helpful and joked around with us since it was two couples and there was a little bit of arguing over certain aspects! I would recommend this for anybody looking to do something on a weekend and we will definitely be back! read more

This is our third time at this location and we will be back. The Playground, The Heist, and now Gold Rush were all grand. Gold Rush is more of a linear puzzle finder-solve this and it leads you to the next thing. Both Playground and Heist are designed for the feral teams who all want to grab and solve as the spirit moves. I like feral play, but linear still has some surprises and delights. The production value is always high and the people behind the scenes are so very nice. The only weird step is that post game our runners have all been pretty aggressive with the "please give me a glowing review, scan my qr code on my badge, we are in a competition for best escape game right now" speech. I don't know if they get an extra tip or what, but it has happened enough times now that I think it is part of their training. It doesn't ruin the event or anything, it just kinda comes out of nowhere since you haven't actually spent much time face to face with this person. Want an adventure, bit also want that adventure to last no more than an hour? Go, enjoy. It's a good time. Promise. read more

It was so much fun! I had an outing with 3 friends. We solved the special-ops with 57 seconds to spare. It is worth it for friends, family, or a team building. Staff were very friendly and helpful. read more

My colleagues and I completed The Heist at The Escape Game. Some were skeptical, hadn't enjoyed prior experiences, or were brand new to escape room games. But our game masters welcomed us and started the game before anyone could change their minds! We played The Heist, which is a fun recovery mission for a stole work of art. This game was rated an 8 out of 10 in difficulty. Our group used 4 hints, I think, and completed the room with 13 minutes to spare. There were many puzzles to solve in this room. Some of them were obvious, some hidden. Some were mental, others required more physicality. It was a nice mix of puzzle types, so the game never felt stagnant or predictable. (That's all I think I can write without giving anything away!) Our game master was nice and debriefed us afterward, sharing what she observed of our group and how we worked together. It was fun to hear what she saw and compare it with what we had just experienced. My only critique is that we had 9 players, which was a few too many for the physical space in the escape room. I am glad they accommodate our group but wish they would have split us into two groups or recommended a larger room. Lastly, I've done a number of escape rooms before at different places with different companies. Some of them are quite poor quality; items in the rooms look old, over-used, or dirty. This was NOT the case at The Escape Game. The room felt clean and mostly new and of nice quality. That gets a big thumbs up from me! Overall, this was a fun experience and definitely a location I'd recommend if you need to get your escape room on! read more

On a complete whim, we decided to try out an escape game. It was just two of us, but we did the Heist game and had a fabulous time! The game was well paced, challenging, but not impossible, and themed very well! The hosts were kind and explained everything beforehand so we could have a great time. I'll definitely be back! read more

We had a group of 6. And it took all six to figure out the clues. We did "the heist", and escaped with 16 mins left. Laughed at our mistakes, cheered when we got something right. Actually a ton of fun!! Everyone agreed we need to do it again in the near future!! read more

We never did an escape the room type thing before, and so we were hesitant that it was going to be too hard. We did the Heist and loved it so much we came back the next night and did Jail break. Everything from the sets, to the music, to the cleverness of the game design was thoughtful and lots of fun. Jared is truly a great host and game guide and made my trip to Cincinnati one of the most fun trips I've had in a while! Cannot recommend going to the Escape game enough! read more

Unbelievable production value. So well done, thought through and so many wow factors. I've done all of the games at this location and they are each unique and clever in their own way. Now I just need them to get new games in because I miss playing!! read more

This place was an absolute 10/10! The workers were SO nice and the rooms were very immersive! Once we completed one room we immediately signed up to do another one because we loved it so much! I can't recommend this place enough! read more

Took our boys, 8 & 12 for the first time since they've been bugging about going. The folks were incredibly nice and the rooms were impressively built. We had a great time. read more

My family and I came here while on vacation in the area and we all had a great time!! We ended up doing two escape rooms and if they had openings we probably would have done them all! We just couldn't stop! We escaped with 11 minutes to spare in Special Ops and then with 6 minutes to spare in the Prison Escape! Both were challenging and very fun! I heard the game master really enjoyed seeing how we solved both rooms! I believe we only used 2 hints in each room which is CRAZY! The family before us used over 50! We aren't special, its just that we all complement each other really well in our knowledge bases and we actually have pretty great teamwork and communication! That is KEY! We also LOVE escape rooms! So while this was our first time in THIS escape room, it is not our first rodeo! Now my son wants to plan vacations to cities with this particular company so we can earn all their pins! Anyway, 10/10 WOULD recommend! You'll definitely have a great time! read more

Best escape room experience ever!! Loved the employees who were so helpful and cool. Special Ops was an incredibly immersive room. I've done tons of these rooms all over and this was by far the coolest one I've seen and experienced. Thanks guys! You guys are exceeding expectations in every way. read more

Caden and Ellie were great! The playground was challenging and had lots of puzzles. We got a cute hippo Tshirt to top it off!

Great place. Best Escape games out there. These games really put you into the situation. It feels real. read more

The Escape Game is the bees knees. I have completed two of the rooms (and CANNOT WAIT to come back for more!). I have done A LOT of escape rooms and am a firm believer that even a bad escape room is better than no escape room at all. The Escape Game is among the best I have ever done (Definitely top 3, maybe even the best, I'm not sure). Each room is filled with so many nice touches and it's evident that TEG doesn't miss the little details. Both times, I've truly felt transported somewhere else and the multi-room experience really keeps you on your toes and makes you feel like you're constantly discovering something. The clues are difficult, but logical. If you're looking for something different to do with your afternoon- go visit The Escape Game. The prices may seem a little high for an hour's worth of entertainment.....but both times I've been they leave me wanting more. I'll be back soon to try out the other rooms! read more

My boyfriend and I came in from out of town and we really enjoyed our experience! Oz helped us when we arrived. Unfortunately, we had to wait for an available time to do the room, but he suggested for us to grab a drink and come back at our scheduled time! When we came back, Oz was very personable and a great host. We did the Gold Rush and had a ton of fun! The room and escape plan was very well put together with a challenge! We would definitely come back and do another game! read more

HANDS DOWN THE BEST! I have been to several escape rooms over the years. Some are okay, however this place is definitely the best. You can tell that they have invested a lot of money in this place, and did it right! Each room has hidden surprises everywhere, which leads you to think you have "escaped". However, they have done a great job making the adventure last and the challenge continue. It's challenges you and your peers to think outside the box and collaborate together to escape in time. I would highly recommend this place to others! The one downside is the price is pretty steep for one hour. Follow them on Facebook and find a sale as it can be expensive for a family trip. read more

I was shocked when I noticed today that I had not yet reviewed The Escape Game yet on Yelp! This is hands-down THE BEST escape room anywhere near Cincinnati. The games themselves are complete adventures with elegantly designed puzzles and multiple rooms (connected in often surprising ways!) I have been here a ton of times and completed every room (except the most recent addition.) Honestly, I recommended ALL of them. Each one was thrilling, and unique, nothing blasé whatsoever for even a seasoned escape room participant. If you are looking for a fun night out with friends this is a great spot and is conveniently located at The Banks right next to some great dining and nightlife. Don't pass this up! read more

Great experience ! We mentioned it was our sons birthday, staff went above and beyond to make it special! We really appreciated it. We escaped Prison break with 3:39 remaining whew. Much needed fun time in the middle of a pandemic. read more

SUPER fun! Their escape "room" isn't just one room, but instead a series of rooms that is unlike any other escape places I have experienced. This would be an excellent place for a team building event or a night out with friends. read more

SO MUCH FUN! I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed the "Gold Rush" escape game that we did here recently. I had never done an escape room before and really wasn't that excited about going. This far exceeded any expectations I had. Staff is so friendly and the rooms are filled with the most meticulous (and cool) details. The game requires teamwork, logic, and problem solving skills all at once. I am officially hooked and cannot wait to go back and try the next level of difficulty. All around an amazing experience. read more

This was our first escape room. Had a lot of fun. Got married up with two other people so we had a really good group. The puzzles were fun only needed to use two of the three clues, escaped in 50 minutes. You really need a group of 4 or more to accomplish the multiple puzzles The staff was fun and very helpfull, I made a mistake in booking on line noticed it in the email and called to see if they could change the time which they did in less then 3 minutes very friendly while doing it. Our guide Hunter did a nice job getting the event started. read more

I love the The Escape Game and highly recommend this location! I've done a few of their rooms and they have all been wonderful - creative room designs and thoughtful, challenging puzzles. Their customer service is also incredible! In a recent visit, my team experienced a couple of issues which contributed to a bit of frustration. We spoke with The Escape Game team and they were very genuine in their desire to ensure that we had a positive experience. Their response was quick, friendly, and exceeded our expectations. I also highly recommend the Unlocked Online Escape Games. They have 3 so far and they're all great. read more

Wayyyy too many hints and we didn't ask for any! Aggravating when it's $37.50 a person. However, we did Playground and it was by far, the best themed room we've ever done. It was for my niece's birthday (8) and she and a friend loved it. The room also accommodates 12 people and there was enough room for all of us. read more

I came here for a team building event and had a great time. I was completely useless with the clues but my team really enjoyed themselves. The guides were amazing and so helpful. The gentleman at the front desk was so patience with us even though we were running behind he didn't pressure us to start. The room was a good mix of challenging and suspenseful. I would definitely go back and choose a different theme. I would be remiss if I didn't mention that you get a discount at pies&pints If you go after the escape game! read more

It's not a room, its an adventure!! This place is FANTASTIC! This is the second The Escape Game location I have visited. I played at their headquarters in Nashville and it was so good I had to check out this new location! This weekend I played two games...I almost escaped from the art gallery heist and I ESCAPED from the gold rush. These games are so addicting. The gold rush was less complex than the art heist. The prison break room is the most difficult and needless to say I did not escape it (played it in Nashville). The staff are very friendly and you have your personal game assistant watching you play who will give you clues and I suggest using them because just when you think you solved the puzzle, something else will happen, keeping you enthralled, so don't be timid to use clues! The rooms are so immersive and realistic, I can't say enough about this aspect. And they are not cheesy and basic, it's like you stepped into another world and you are leading the show. One thing- I have never had a group experience with strangers. I can not speak from experience, but I think it would be extremely difficult to play this game with strangers and I have heard this to be true. For example, if you join a group and they have played that room before, they may solve the room too quickly making you feel like you didn't get your money worth etc. But playing with your own group is so much fun! read more

I. Love. TEG. I have now played all of the games open at this location, and let me tell you: you will not be disappointed! All of the games are completely immersive, made with intricate sets, unique puzzles, and surprises at every turn. Never a dull moment, that's for sure! The staff are also absolutely unparalleled. They are helpful without giving too much away, and you can really tell they love what they do and want you to have as much fun as possible. Also, make sure to follow them on social media because they are constantly posting monthly puzzle challenges and other fun stuff to keep their followers engaged. I can't say much else without giving their secrets away, but I can say this: you don't want to sleep on this one. Go escape! read more

Love this place! Opened recently and have already been twice within the past two weeks! First time I was unable to escape The Gold Rush but I still had such a fun time! I had such a great time here. This was my first time and me and my friend did the prison break. It was just us two and there was so much activities. This place was AMAAAAZING! You can't do much to celebrate a birthday during Covid-19 so I thought this would be a cool way to leave the house and be safe... it was so much fun!!! Magnus was our Sherpa through this journey and she killed it, we did Special Ops, we didn't make it out but still had a great time and booked another one for next week... they even gave us a 20% off as well, totally worth it! read more

Yo. This place is INSANE. My boyfriend & I do tons of Escape Rooms at various locations and this is by far the best location we have ever played at. We completed Prison Break & Special Ops (escaped both whoop whoop!!) First, we had Sam, then we had Hayden and Brandon. Let me tell y'all if you can, do it. The rooms are crazy fantastic and interactive, the people - AMAZING and just all around experience leaves me crazy happy afterwards. We already have plans to go back and finish the other two!! Cannot wait!!! read more

Eight of us did "The Heist" and we Almost Escaped - we literally had the last puzzle figured out as the time ran out! Oh well...it was still totally amazing and fun. It was a lot more exciting than I had imagined - with the time clock ticking away and so many clues to figure out - it was non-stop action! The puzzles were so well thought out and difficult enough to feel like we accomplished something when we finally solved them. The props and decor was so perfect - it felt like we were on a movie set. We all had a great time and then went down the street to Condado Taco for dinner and then the SkyWheel. Wonderful evening and we will be back soon. read more

My work team came for an out of office team building activity and we had an absolute BLAST! We had two groups because of our size. My group did the Special Ops challenge and it was HARD! We barely made it out. It was challenging and fun and we really did have to work together to make it to the end. I know the other group also had a blast. Highly recommend this activity for any team building exercise! We had a really good time. read more

Amazing service and a great time for a bachelorette weekend! Meadow was so kind and accommodating to our group.

This was the absolute BEST escape room we've ever done. We've done at least 10 rooms and this was superbly put together. Kudos! We already bought our tickets for our next room! Cant wait! The quality of the props was sturdy and the clues were a perfect level of difficulty but still able to figure out. Plus the staff is friendly amd extremely helpful. You must try it! read more

This place is absolutely our favorite! The rooms were so detailed and well put together. We've gone to other escape rooms and they just don't match up to this company at all. I participated in the "Special Ops" mission today for my little brother's birthday. I was skeptical because I'd done escape rooms before and thought they were kind of a bland fad. The adventure blew my mind, however, with its intricate design and thrilling plot details. The location also can't be beat in the heart of Cincinnati overlooking the Ferris wheel and suspension bridge. It's a great place to go to for a birthday as well as my brother got ice cream, a shirt and a card signed by the super kind staff. I'm excited to try another game in the future! read more
