I was in the South Lake Tahoe area and walking around with my husband and our friend on a Saturday morning. When our friend looked up different places in the area to see what might be worth checking out, he mentioned that there was a smoked meats place. Immediately I was down to check it out. As we walked in, we were greeted by the employee behind the counter and a variety of jerky options in the case and along the walls. I tried a handful of samples before it dawned on me that the flavors and products seemed so familiar. I was completely oblivious that there were photos and references to their original location in Bishop (which I visited previously and really liked). I got a 1/4 lb of the sweet and spicy brisket to snack on and it made an excellent driving snack.

He answered all our questions, gave us some really yummy suggestions and was overall wonderful to interact with. Inside initially felt really empty - but honestly it was rustic and super spacious. The jerky was all so yummy. We tasted a bunch of different kinds and even different animals. I've really only ate beef jerky but my favorite ended up being an elk jerky I can't remember the name though! I definitely would come back again when in the area!

Clean, balanced, exactly what I was hoping for first thing in the morning. First espresso shot wasn't great. Something was off in extraction. This place is tucked away maybe a minute from Highway 50 on Kingsbury grade. They have a plethora of breakfast and veggies options, with a good selection of bagels. They have matcha, seasonal latte options, different cream cheese flavors, and a decent selection of juice, sodas, and tea. I came in HUNGRY and tried the Goombah sando with added turkey. It was crispy, delicious, and HOT. Oh my. Basically, a glorified caprese salad on a bagel. It was oily, messy, and wonderful. I got help ordering from Shannon, and she was a great help! The seating area is a tad limited for the lunch time rush I was here for. They have a couple couches in the middle that are nice and cozy, and a mix of tables that can fit 2 up to 6 people. It seems to have a good flow, but I wonder if there's a different or better way to accommodate more people to dine in. It seemed like most to half the people that came in got their orders to go, and had there been room to accommodate them, if they would have stayed. Overall, a friendly and high energy place that makes bomb bagel sandos. I wish this was closer to my stomping grounds in Reno, so it makes a special trip worth it to the Tahoe Bagel Co!

I personally will never be back here.

Stopping into Clyde's transports you to a cozy winter lodge, yet still offers a beautiful deck space for the warm Tahoe days. The staff was very kind, answering any questions we had, and drinks were served up quickly. The pastries here looked absolutely insane! It took everything I had to pass up on them- but next time, I have already decided I am getting the apple streusel. The drinks are a bit pricey here, but the portions are large. Most iced/blended drinks are around $7.50, but they are 16-oz servings. The Green Monkey (blended matcha, almond milk, and banana) was so creamy and sweet, and delicious. The smoothies are soft serve-based and offer a perfect sweetness level while still being fresh from the fruit and creamy like a milkshake. I also enjoyed a double shot to sample their espresso game- very tasty stuff. They have lots of merch for sale, including their coffee varieties, which I thought were priced well. I will be back to Clyde's Coffee Roasting. It may even be my new favorite South Lake Tahoe coffee house, even if it means I have to drive out of the way a few minutes. This restaurant was minutes away from our hotel so location wise, Bruschetta is in prime location if you are staying in or around South Lake Tahoe. Parking was relatively easy And our meal while having a few honest mistakes was remedied by our waiter Sean which made the meal truly 5 stars. There were a few mishaps with our order but we enjoyed what came out regardless, and the fact Sean did his best to remedy the situation despite the kitchen being closed at that point caused me to rank Bruschetta a bonafide 5 star Italian restaurant. Ambiance is very classy and feels authentic to what an Italian restaurant should be. Here's what we ordered: Roasted Cherry and Plum Bruschetta, Fried Calamari, Brussel Sprouts, Shrimp Caldo, 20 Layer Lasagna, Spaghetti and meatballs, and spicy Linguini and clams. To drink: an old fashioned, Peach cocktail, blueberry cocktail, and glass of red wine. Somehow, maybe due to it being later in the evening, they forgot to bring us our Shrimp Caldo, Brussel Sprouts, and red wine. We may have been the last customers, but we realized our entire order was not brought out so we mentioned it to our waiter to which he sincerely apologized and made right the best he could. Instead of getting defensive or making excuses, our waiter Sean took action and quickly resolved any issues which speaks volumes not only for him as a person but for the restaurant as a whole. We ended up ordering dessert after: tiramisu And vanilla gelato. Both were excellent and tipped generously. Bruschetta is a solid 5 star Italian restaurant in Lake Tahoe And I give a hearty thanks to the ownership, chefs, and especially Sean for serving us a wonderful Italian feast!

Definitely the bruschetta and lasagna stole the show. Ended the meal with their tiramisu cake because you always have room for a sweet treat! Overall I give this restaurant a solid 4/5 star review. I'm glad I tried it and will definitely be coming back!

The food was pretty solid overall. We ordered the Cajun shrimp salad, Tavern burger, buffalo cauliflower, and fish and chips. I'm giving 4 stars mainly because the buffalo cauliflower didn't actually taste like buffalo -- it leaned more toward a curry-style spice. It was still good, just not what we were expecting. The fish and chips came with deep-fried salmon, which unfortunately was a bit dry. On the bright side, the fries were SO good -- they tasted like they were fried in beef tallow and reminded us of McDonald's fries in the best way. Overall, a good spot with a nice atmosphere, and I'd definitely be open to trying other items on the menu next time!

I love the sauces they serve as well, my personal favorite was the Chimichurri (which consisted of Fresh Chopped Parsley, Olive Oil, White Vinegar, Lemon Juice, Garlic, and Lots of Spices). I loved it! Last but not least they are not stingy with the fillings of the Empanadas. I had the ground beef, it was so juicy and hot (temp wise). Oh, the Empanadas are so cute, they put the Eid own little stamp on it. And each one is labeled with the type of protein you ordered (see photos).
