I waited until around 5 days post facial to write this review…read more --First, I got very lucky with my timing b/c I asked for a facial literally right after she had a cancellation so I got in next day. But otherwise, expect to book 4-6 weeks out. --Follow her easy to understand email instructions to confirm your appointment by text, and also show up 10 mins early to appointment. That's not too much to ask. --I am 40 and have never had a facial before so I don't have anything to compare this to. --I was surprised by how fun this experience was. Really pleasant and entertaining conversation. I felt like I made a real friend. --Viktoria asks some prelim questions about products you use and medicines you take. You change into a towel robe and the facial begins. I arrived at 3:50 and walked out at 5:30. --The extractions weren't that bad but the whole time I kept thinking how blotchy and red my face was going to look. But guess what? It was not blotchy or red at all! No redness whatsoever. She must be magic. --She did steam, extractions, a mask, infrared light, some other electric thing, moisturizer, massaged my head and shoulders, it was all really nice. Cost with tip was less than $100. --It doesn't matter if you go in wearing makeup or not. --Don't plan any workouts post facial- nothing where you'll sweat afterwards. --I have had no breakouts, no peeling, no negative after effects from the facial. My skin looks great. Even my husband said I looked younger. --There was no pressure to come back at any given interval, but I will plan to go every 6 weeks or so. I already booked my return appointment. --I can't think of anything negative to say. Viktoria is really wonderful. The only possible downside I can think of is that due to location, you're not getting the nice spa atmosphere, but it would cost twice the amount at a fancy spa and you'd likely not get anyone as well trained and experienced as Viktoria, so I really recommend Viktoria for a high quality facial at reasonable price.

I am originally from California so I've been receiving treatment from Face Reality's headquarters but from 2014-2015 I lived in Dallas. During my brief year in Texas, my skin was severely dry and breaking out like crazy. I tried using all kind of moisturizing cream but I just couldn't get my skin to hydrate enough. I did some research from the Face Reality site to see if I could find an esthetician in Texas so I could continue my routine. Luckily, Nancy's office was somewhat close by and she also had been trained by Laura so I was super happy to see her to help me with my skin. At this time I was near Farmer's Branch so the drive to Frisco was lengthy but worth it (in my opinion). Nancy was thoughtful and listened to my struggles with the dry weather and acne. She provided the same treatments that I had at Face Reality's headquarters and she also carried many Face Reality products as well! I was so happy I would be able to pick up products instead of having to wait for them to ship to my apartment. My skin improved immediately as soon as I started getting the chemical peels and extractions. I was so used to thorough extractions from the California office that I was surprised how quick and painless my extractions were with Nancy (or maybe I just didn't have many pimples!). Expect the appointment to be around 30 mins total. Of course this could be longer depending on the severity of your acne. Her office is in a small plaza with a small parking lot. The times I've gone for appointments, I was always able to find parking but if the lot is full, there' street parking since the surrounding area is in a residential area. Overall, if you are suffering from acne and dryness, I'd recommend to at least get a consultation with Nancy. Nancy validated all of my concerns and actively listened when I told her about my struggles with acne. She doesn't just give you a skincare plan (anyone can do that). She gives you diet and lifestyle changes to consider and also gives you lists of ingredients to avoid in your hair, skin, and home products and in your food! I thought I was very conscious about my products and my diet, and then she politely steered me in a better direction. If you're looking for alternatives to anything, she can help you find them AND they will all be acne safe! In addition, if you have sensitive skin, she's your best bet. My skin is VERY sensitive and I have reactions to nearly everything! She tested different products on me and found a routine that was safe for my sensitive skin and even helped me toughen my skin up so it's not as reactive as it once was. Trust the process! As a Black woman with coiled hair, having my hair repeatedly washed, rubbed, and tangled for such a long period caused significant breakage and hair loss. I was told there was no way to see the balance because the system changed. Since I had never used the card before, she requested that a manager verify the balance. She could not get her boss on the phone so said she would trust me. At that point, I chose to leave. This service may be enjoyable for some people, but it was not the right experience for me.
