I went with the Pilsner, and it was exactly what I wanted, perfect after a day out exploring. Their beer list has something for everyone, whether you're into lighter options or something with a bit more depth. We didn't order food this time, but everything coming out of the kitchen looked incredible. They've got plenty of options like burgers, nachos, and other brewery favorites that definitely seemed worth trying next time. What really stood out was the atmosphere. There was so much going on in the best way. They had a dog adoption event happening outside while we were there, which added such a fun, community-driven vibe. They also host live music and other events regularly, so it feels like there's always something to check out. The outdoor space is huge and perfect if you're with a group or bringing kids. So many places serve it overly salty probably because it sits there all night overly reducing, (and as a salt fanatic, for me to say that is saying something), so I rarely order it anymore and just make it at home. But this??! AJ's FOS was amazing. Not salty at all, in fact it had such a deep beefy flavor! Just unreal!!! Hubby's steak was cooked perfectly (which so many restaurants struggle with when it is ordered rare). But the star of the night for me? His green bean side. These were not cut green beans from a can. No, these were whole FRESH green beans. And they were seasoned SO well! I don't know honestly with what, because I was eating them off his plate pretty fast (as he watched football on one of the many well placed TVs around the restaurant- haha). Imagine! The meal was served hot and ready and tasted great. And having the cranberry coulis as a dipping sauce really added some taste. My only gripe with the sandwich was the amount of protein. After a few minutes lookimg over the menu, we were ready to order. I selected the Pork Belly Cuban sandwich which came with their homemade chips. It was a really good lunch. Both the pork belly and sliced ham were cooked very well and plenty. I forgot what sauce they included (I believe it was chimichurri) really elevated the flavor in my opinion. Sadly, have noticed a steadily progressing deterioration in both food and service. I can live with menu changes...all restaurants do it eventually. But after the last change, the food is steadily gone downhill. Greasy, unappetizing bad presentation, etc. This last weekend's visit will be my last. I understand it was busy because of a concert, but to sit at a table and have a waitress come by three times and tell us "I need more time" while serving other tables that came in and were seated after us is unacceptable. I know this because we changed tables to get a better seat and watched as the former table was served water, beer, and food orders. Ended up totally ignoring her and going to the bar to get food and drinks. Had an issue with a beer that was supposed to be a refill and was apparently filled from the wrong tap. It was mostly bread with very little topping, and it did not resemble what I expected based on the description. What made the experience even more disappointing was seeing another customer receive a beautiful pizza that looked properly prepared. The difference in quality was striking. Because the pizza I received was so poorly made, I asked not to be charged for it. I don't enjoy complaining, but I felt this situation warranted it. I hope you will look into what happened and ensure that all customers receive the same quality and consistency.
