Great shots, good ambiance, musicians were amazing!

This place is terrible! It started out great but there was some sort of change in management. The music was fabulous when Scott Morlock was there but now they are just getting random musicians and the sound is terrible. I have had several friends have their cards over charged and they are still waiting to get their money back. Also, it is advertised as a piano bar but instead if they host trivia which very few people go to and advertise some sort of golf video game. Not to mention it advertises open until two but there have been several times when the place has closed early. I guess they are not getting enough customers. I would 100% recommend that you do not go here! read more

I've had multiple friends get their debit cards over charged. I noticed when I was there that they were hand writing tabs so I'm curious if there is even a price guide. The overall appeal of the place has completely declined with the loss of the amazing original musicians. I wouldn't take my friends, family or enemies here now. read more

Awful place. I feel terrible for the musicians they're recruiting now. Overpriced drinks, well, I can't really say that because I don't actually know what the drink prices are. Ordered the same thing twice from two different people and was charged different prices by both, wannabe strippers grinding on chairs, and a mostly empty bar. This is a great place we really enjoyed ourselves the music was fantastic little bit of everything for everyone. Nice atmosphere and friendly waitstaff. I'm not sure what the personal attack on the owner is about, these reviews seem very personal and not at all about the actual place. The post aren't even from actual customer's but a group of friends in a misguided attempt to show friends backing up friends. In what seems to be secondhand information or one sided at best....It's a shame people post these reviews with the intent to destroy someone's business. We tell our children not to bully but yet here we have grown Adults doing it. So I guess if your reading these reviews do as I did go for yourself see if you like it or not. I CHALLENGE THE NEXT BAD REVIEWER TO POST A Receipt or any proof you have been in here or are there..... if they cant I wouldn't trust a word the hate squad has to say. This place had the best ensemble of musicians. Now, they're no where near the atmosphere they opened up with. Found out that the owners have withheld funds and screwed the musician partnership they had. How can you screw your bread and butter? Sad state of conducting a business. Will not be returning because of the co owners take over strategy was underhanded. What a slap in the face to the co owners you screwed. DO NOT SUPPORT THESE FOLKS, they don't play fair. read more

Great place. Love the music. Staff is awesome. My kind of place. The door guys/security are the best. I recommend this place to any and everyone. You can even make request and they will play what you want. Very electric read more

At one time, this place used to be electric. Now it feels like it's been electrocuted and is dead. Not worthy fo the LODA bar scene. Saddens me to say but without the talent of the former owners there is nothing here to recommend the place. read more

Amazing! Penny pitchers, $5 cover charge, and great music. We same here on a Thursday and was thoroughly impressed. Great staff as well. I know during these times it's important to support small businesses, especially in downtown Mobile. This is a great one! read more

Since reviews for the The Electric Piano Parlor Facebook page have been hidden and comments deleted I'll post this here. Unfortunately without the involvement of Scott, Tony, Gene, David and Beverly I cannot recommend this establishment. The heart and soul is gone. The dream is gone. Many would drive from miles around to enjoy these fantastic musicians. Without theses fantastic people involved, we shall not darken the doorway. read more

If you love music and enjoy piano players then give it a try. Very entertaining and being able to sit back have some drinks with friends while putting in requests to hear the piano player play it out. Lots of fun read more

We passed on the Grand Opening of DAHLIA's, wanting to avoid the crowd. When we did visit, it wasn't Dahlia's anymore (the name had been changed), the pianists we'd hoped to hear were no longer performing there (with rumors of management rifts wafting on whispers through the air), and the atmosphere was kind of a downer. Add to that an overcharge on my card that was neither addressed or corrected, and I'll pass on this establishment. This was NOT what I was looking for in Downtown Mobile. read more
