The appointment was for my 3 year old and I'm due to give birth with my 2nd in less than a week but I say no problem. The receptionist says great we'll see you in half an hour. I then come back in half an hour and I ask if the hair stylist is ready. The receptionist says no that she needs 5 more minutes but I can leave if I don't want to wait. This was pretty frustrating and I asked why they wouldn't just call me if she's running that behind and ask me to come later? The receptionist only mentioned that the stylist is just that busy. I wait another couple of minutes and ask again if the stylist is ready. At this point im tired of waiting and ask to get an actual estimated time she will be ready. I see the receptionist go up to the stylist and I see that the stylist is annoyed with the questions. I feel that when you have such a "popular" stylist that people should be better at scheduling their appointments for them. A phone call to say she's running an hour behind would have been great to receive, and the stylist could have taken 2 minutes to check in with me and see what can be done to accommodate me since I wasn't late. The stylist ran behind and should have tried to remedy the problem. At the end I left, it was obvious they didn't care for my business since the stylist is that popular. As I was entering the parking lot for my ON-TIME appointment, a young woman, Olivia from Rosa Blu called me, stating that the prior customer just arrived and asked that I push back my ON-TIME appointment by 45 minutes. It appears the manager made the young woman do her dirty work. Instead of telling the LATE customer that they had to wait, they made me push my appointment back. I wound up booking an appointment two days later and when I walked in, the manager, while rolling her eyes, in a non convincing manner says, "OH, sorry about the other day" NO REMORSE WHATSOEVER. Didn't even offer to perhaps give me a discount for the haircut. It's just shrug the shoulders and too bad Joe. This type of behavior is what turns customers away. It's not the first time this has happened. The bottom line.... they catered to the more expensive LATE client instead of the ON-TIME standard Men's haircut. The manager needs to take a Customer Service course and also not have her young staff members do her dirty work. A 2 grade is extremely generous. Will I go back..... The wash, cut & dry took no more than 30 minutes and there was no one waiting for their hair to be done, so I was confused. I paid the $40 since I'm not sure if the shady salon owner/manager would penalize the person who cut the hair for the extra $10 if I only paid $30. It was just a trim, no fancy hair style, color, etc. The cut was okay, but the experience left a bad taste. I would NOT recommend them to anyone or go back there again.

She calls herself a perfectionist and it shows. I am a bit of a nervous customer and can be particular about my hair. I was impressed that she really listened to me and discussed what I liked/didn't like about my hair for a significant amount of time before just "jumping in". The appointment was at 11, she was only able to take me at 11:30. She double booked her appointments. I asked for Hollywood waves. As Anna was teasing my hair she kept ripping it off ignoring my screams and begging to be careful. 3 days later after the hair style my hair still continues to break and to fall off from pulling. The waves only held for one hour so by the time I got to the wedding my hair was completely straight ($120 down the drain) . In addition, she was sneezing and sniffling right over my head. I haven't tried any other stylists at Opia (and I definitely won't come back to try) but stay from Anna at all costs. She is sadist!
