I was so looking forward to checking this place out. I SO wanted to give it 4/5 stars but just…read morecould not. I am being generous with the three. Positives: Blueberry Lemonade - perfect! Thats about it. I am hoping it was because it was a little early (5:30), I am hoping it was since it was the Saturday before Easter, I am hoping that they were short staffed, I am hoping it's too early in the season for outdoor seating, I am hoping SO many things because I will be back but not for food for sure. Negatives: In addition to the VERY limited menu; (that was a WELL WORN & wrinkled) what we did order was not much higher quality than freezer food. The pretzel bites - just like "Superpretzel" with cold whiz on the side. The "Zingers" NOT. They were a boneless breast cut into strips and drowned in sauce. Mozzarella sticks - again, basic at best - I've had better come out of my air fryer. Cheesesteak small and lackluster. The pulled pork sandwich could have had potential had it not be dripping in sauce. Both sandwiches served with cold unsalted fries. In addition to the poor quality of food, we had to order it and go back and pay our bill at the bar despite being seated at a table. Interior: Cute design - a small three-sided bar with comfortable seating. Large barrels along the wall with chairs for seating. The interior was dark but not unpleasant. Photos hung high upon the walls and looked like an afterthought as none are framed, nor fully attached and are curling in the corners. There was a large room perfect for events. That was big bright and inviting. Exterior: This is where I am assuming the "magic" happens that I have heard so highly of. An enormous outdoor area with bar and patio, more picnic table style seating slightly up the grounds which appears to have yet another bar, but I am not sure since I didn't walk up. Lovely grounds and LOTS of parking. In all honesty I really wanted to walk out before we ordered and somewhat wished I had because I WANT to like this place so bad and am REALLY chalking this up to a bad night. I am thinking 1675 is more of a bar rather than a bar/restaurant/pub. Despite the food, the drinks are on point. We have had their liquor before from their other location and it is high quality. My blueberry lemonade was bangin and helped make the food somewhat tolerable. I will be back later in the season, maybe on a night with entertainment with HIGH HOPES that the planets were misaligned last night and our experience was simply a fluke!

Yelp Review 2025 #230:…read more I came here for a friend's outdoor wedding in October. It was sunny but cool. They have 3 venues. I'll start with the not-so-positives first. I took an Uber from Downtown Philly to Pen Ryn Estate which took about 30 minutes. Somebody is there to direct cars where to go. I specifically heard the lady say "take the first left and keep going straight to River's Edge Garden Pavillion." What my Uber driver did was go all the way to the end and turn left. So, I second-guessed myself. I got dropped off at the wrong venue and I had to walk a loooooong way to the correct venue and I was late for the wedding (I was actually on time but late for my standards). I ran into other wedding guests attending somebody else's wedding trying to find their venue as well. This place is massive! We're talking acres of land. I made it to a shed and I asked somebody if I was at the right place - I had to be because I already passed 2 incorrect venues out of 3. And the gentleman told me to hop on the golf cart that would take me to River's Edge where the wedding is at. The golf cart driver asked if I was taking an Uber after the wedding and he told me what address to put in so I can get picked up directly from the wedding venue - which I found very helpful when I was ready to go back to my hotel late at night! The venue was nice. Since it was outdoors, you had to deal with some elements: strong winds, bugs and it got chilly close to sunset. You get a view of the river. Right behind us is a covered area like a tent where the reception is at. But it looked elegant inside. I'm very impressed by the food. The variety and quality of the food were fantastic. Probably the some of the best food I've had at a wedding. I was getting full during cocktail hour. The couple has Latin and Italian roots and their heritage were celebrated through food and I loved that. When I RSVP'ed for the wedding, I sent in my meal selection and I had forgotten I chose chicken. And I was filled with fear because catered chicken tends to be dry - not the one at this wedding. I enjoyed it so much. The wedding cake was made by a contestant on Food Network. But the spread for dessert was also fabulous. Overall, an impressive place for a wedding.

My wife and I got married back in late July and I really took my time to think about publishing…read morethis review. My visceral reaction was to publish a 1-star review... but I didn't want people to just arbitrarily filter it out like I was just some angry and privileged customer. I am neither of those things; quite understanding actually. That being said, for such an event, I do expect a level of service where I feel as though we are being taken care of. The reason I settled on a three-star review is because the 'day of' was phenomenal. The day-of staff and the supporting staff around them were amazing to work with and the wedding went beautifully. If I was giving a review solely on that fact, I would have given five stars. The problem I have is with the event planning team. The people you deal with consistently from the moment you sign your contract until the day of your wedding. I don't know why they feel it's OK, however they certainly make you feel as though you are simply a commodity, a date on the calendar, and they know there's going to be a customer coming right after you. You feel like you're just cattle in a cattle shoot being shoved along and moved through. I could not have been more disappointed in the event planning team's attitude. That being said, I want to call out an exclusion for a gentleman named Dominic from that team who ultimately worked with us and really turned everything around. Before we started working with him, we seriously considered abandoning our deposit and going somewhere else. Unlike the rest of the team, you can genuinely hear Dominic's happiness for you, and he finally started to make the experience feel special. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and I really hope they can resolve the issue with the attitude of the event team members. I'm very connected within the community and spoke with three other families that got married at this venue and had similar issues with the event team. I don't think it's fair for people that are opening such an important chapter of their lives to feel so commoditized and insignificant. I hope this review helps someone else out there make their venue decision, and regardless of your choice, I wish you a happy, loving, and prosperous marriage!

If you want to throw a party, this is the place to go! I had my twins Sweet 16 here recently and…read morethe owners/employees were so kind and helpful! We had a Glow in the dark party which included a lot of set up. They gave us the opportunity to come in not only the day before, but the day of, earlier than the alloted time we had. We moved a good amount of furniture to fit our vision and they had no problem with it. The one woman (Sorry I forget your name) was so helpful to the point where when we couldn't figure out the sound system with our android ( yes I know) she came back to help. The place has an abundance of outlets which was great since we had a bunch of black lights. We had the 360° photo booth which we were allowed to rent for as long as we wanted. The woman who ran it was very kind and the kids loved it. We also had enough room for another photo booth. At the end of the night, the wonderful woman came back and helped us clean some and told us to just worry about the bigger things and to leave the smaller things for her and her team to clean. I've already recommended this place to another friend and I'd definitely give this company more business when I need to throw another party. Thank you so much for everything, my daughters, their friends and our family had a blast!
