The review I just read is unfortunate. To post so many unpleasant things about a wonderful place is not right. The wrong impression was given here and I hope to right it. I can't believe that so many travesties have happened to this one tenant. It's unfortunate, but not the norm.
I have been living here over 6 years and would never want to leave. Every amenity is here, every convenience is here, the people are lovely, the grounds are well kept, the staff are very nice from the management to concierge. If i have ever had a problem or complaint it was rectified immediately.
I have NEVER seen towels on cars and I come in many different directions on different levels. This may happen but the Eclipse not making this right sounds unreal.
There is ample parking in the garage and every home comes with at least one parking spot, however you will get towed if you park in someone spot. Why is that a downside? It's only intelligent not to park in someone spot. There are MANY open spots in the retail section the back of Harris Teeter for additional cars and guests with no towing issues.
Not finding packages? Not sure how this is a norm. Again living here 6 years, with over 30 packages coming to us during the holiday season, the busiest time of the year where packages are piled behind the desk as there is no room in the back, not one package had ever gone missing. This guys really has some bad luck.
Front doors open with box fans?? That's just crazy. I face the sunny side and the only issue with temperature is that it becomes freezing in the house because the AC pumps so well in a small space of 1200ft.
The trash disposal rooms do accumulate but are cleaned every morning. Not sure how this is an issue...it's a trash area. Notices go out in the Eclipse letters about keeping it clean, but these are all just reminders. No one is reprimanding anyone in particular.
I don't hear any maintenance workers however I am high up facing the courtyard and snow blowing...we may have had an issue during the first big storm when everyone in the city was having an issue but it has been clock work since then.
I have a feeling this guy lives facing the playground and over the top of the loading dock. That sucks as it could be noisy.
I don't know about this guys hallway, but I have seen one shopping cart in 6 years and as a good neighbor I brought it down myself. No big deal.
The other amenities are a party room which is reserved FOR FREE! $500 deposit for issues, but FREE space around DC to throw a party is unheard of! It has a pool table, a rooftop deck looking at gorgeous DC Capitol and Washington Monument, free wireless internet, and a number of televisions. He complains the internet is always busy, well then have 3G on you IPAD like everyone else. And the furniture is cool and comfortable enough. How much time is this guy spending in there really?!
I am flabbergasted by this comment! We don't want someone living in the building that plays a maddening game of avoid-the-fee and hide-from-the-condo-association. What a weirdo with no sense of moral or responsibility,
Living here has been WONDERFUL! We would do it again and are so happy we had the chance. Life is just easier with all of the amenities and conveniences around you. It's been a pleasure. read more
