Enjoyed a quick trip to The Eagle Harbor Inn. Great location in town and I could walk to most things. Harbor views too! Also very close to the ferry. Was worried after reading some other reviews that mentioned noise, traffic, people walking by windows, etc., however I thought it was very quite and did not have an issue with that at all. Yes, you are in town, so there is very little noise for being in town (you aren't on 5 acres in the country), but the town noise dies by 9 pm. Nor was anybody by my windows. The Inn checked all the important boxes -- Rooms are nicely decorated, clean, comfortable bed had nice linens. Beautiful court yard with tables, fountains, and flowers. I enjoyed reading my book out there. The also have good parking available below the rooms. There isn't a lobby on site, so I didn't interact with staff that much, but when I needed something they answered the phone and promptly addressed my request. Also, super easy check in process done by email. I appreciated that (one less thing to do). Would defiantly stay here again and recommend it.

    cute little inn!

Perfect stay! We stayed upstairs in the main house. Loved our room. Great big bathtub, quiet, clean, romantic, and great view even though the windows were small. Really nice courtyard but too cold when we stayed (March) to enjoy it. Walking distance from the ferry dock and very close to town and the waterfront. Will definitely return!

Spectacular stay in an equally spectacular location!!!

THOROUGHLY enjoyed our stay! The grounds are beautiful and 297 felt like home away from home. We will definitely come back here again as the view as well as the proximity to town are exceptional!!

We ended up staying here on a whim and we are so happy we did. It was amazing. It is truly a "Petit" hotel they have very few rooms but they are amazing. Hardwood floors, high end finishes throughout and best of all they are literally a 3 minute walk to the water and all of downtown Bainbridge. The hotel rates are very reasonable in my opinion considering all that you get for the price.

My fiancé and I stayed here for our last romantic night away before our baby comes. It's a quaint inn with the perfect location on Bainbridge - close to the harbor and shops/restaurants. The inn only has a few rooms and has the feel of a little bed and breakfast. The landscaping and building are beautiful and the rooms are romantic and charming. We stayed in the Rockaway Beach Room which is on the second floor and has vaulted ceilings. The room is really spacious and has a little reading nook just outside it with local books and trail maps. The room has a comfortable bed with AC, TV, and mini fridge. The bathroom has a big jacuzzi tub which made for an amazing, relaxing bath. In the morning they serve fresh coffee from Pegasus. The only downfall is that they don't allow dogs so we had to board our pup. I have been wanting to come here and so happy we finally did. We will surely be back!

Located on a bluff above Eagle Harbor, there is ample outdoor seating to enjoy the massive expanse of water and sky. A curving set of wood and stone steps lead down to the water where one can barbeque, go kayaking, sit and relax, or walk on the beach. I saw an eagle swoop on some cormorants that were sitting out on a floating dais (they dove and easily escaped him). The view of Mt. Rainier from the beach is unique and if one walks down a ways one can see the Seattle skyline. The place is everything it is advertised to be: the windows overlook Eagle Harbor with the ferries coming and going, the kitchen is well equipped and the stove has gas burners, the bed is very comfortable, the television has more channels than I would ever watch, Wi Fi is free, the bathroom is clean and the showerhead is powerful. The owners were friendly and honored my privacy. Photographers, artists, birdwatchers, couples, small families, kayakers, an individual looking to relax - I could go on - will all find something here. I found true peace and quiet.

The weather was beautiful and I was able to sit outside at the cute table and chairs Claes and Jenny have out on the patio. The inside was very clean and cozy and the wood burning stove was awesome! The owners live upstairs but I never heard/saw them, however, they make it very clear in the information they email you that should you need ANYTHING during your stay don't hesitate to just let them know. Stuck in the shower two days with no body soap. The bathroom didn't have all the towels upon check in. Had to call and request them. No shower mat was provided (until the second day) so I had to use towels and discovered upon doing that how filthy the bathroom floor was. The towels used as bath mat were gray with dirt and the floors felt sticky. Disgusting. TV didn't work right. Kept buffering and freezing making it difficult and very frustrating to watch. Lock on door to room didn't work properly so had to use the physical key every time. It has a keypad with code that wasn't working so it would not lock. Also--no further security lock latch on the inside like most hotel rooms so anyone with a key on the property could enter. Didn't feel very safe. Front door to Garden Building, where room was, stuck so badly and did not latch properly that that meant the building was unlocked overnight. When it was latched (after I left I had to slam it hard), came back and could barely get it open. It took three times of entering the code and I had to kick the door and pull and pull on it for it to open. VERY frustrating. This cute, little room and inn has so much potential but this big miss on these issues means I will not return and tell others to avoid the property. Any claim of a view of the water is exaggerated as it's a tiny peek from the room I was in which was on the far end of the Garden Building. Icing on the cake is that in the Inn at Pleasant Beach area has the worst WiFi. I had initially intended to share my concerns privately with the hotel owner, but there seems to be no direct way to contact the person who really manages this property. My primary issue involves a fellow guest who had a completely trashed vehicle parked next to mine. The owner of said vehicle was apparently staying with their mother right above our room, and they were far from quiet, waking my family up very early in the morning. This particular guest also disrupted breakfast by crowding the line for a good five minutes while he shoved multiple items from the breakfast bar into his pockets. It was a rather sketchy and trashy display. I paid a considerable amount of money to spend the night here. While it's clear this guest may be going through a difficult time--and I do sympathize--I am surprised that the hotel allows such disruptive behavior and the presence of a vehicle that looks like it belongs in a junkyard. Whatever the issues regarding this guest are, they are immaterial. Still, the concern is that their actions interfere with the stays of other guests who have also paid for a peaceful and enjoyable experience. I sincerely hope that someone from management reads this and takes appropriate action.

I had also been feenin' for a weekend trip somewhere I haven't been. As I researched plenty of areas to visit I kept coming back to Bainbridge Island due to the reasonably priced bed and breakfasts they have. I found Holly Lane Gardens on a Bainbridge Island lodging website. From the pictures it seemed like a cute place, was in the woods, and the price was just right. There are two rooms each with a theme, a suite, and a cabin available for stays. There is no minimum night stay unlike so many other places. We arrive at Holly Lane Gardens to a cacophony of animals sounds. There are roosters, chickens, ducks, and even a llama. The house is a spacious wooden structure surrounded by a plush lawn, cheery blossom trees, and a forest in the back. There is a swing to act out your childhood past time. I park and we make our way to the front door. We find numerous Post-Its directing people to their rooms and explaining the owner is either out in the garden or driving the tractor. We enter and to the left is the living room filled with books and a piano. The kitchen is directly in front. We walk down the hall to the right and find our room. I picked the Morracan room based only on its multi-colored bedspread and tried to keep my expectations low. As I entered the room I was blown away. It wasn't huge by any means but it was decorated with an Asian flair and there was burgundy net surrounding the bed. I recognized the brightly colored bedspread. I jumped on the bed and felt like a princess. The bathroom was across the hall and it was a great size and very homey. I was disappointed I didn't meet Patti, the owner, upon our arrival but we left and came back and met the cutest most kindest dog on the planet. We open the door and there is a doe eyed dog looking at us, not barking, obviously knowing we would do no harm. We make our way to the living room to watch some television and here comes the dog, nudging me with its nose to pet it. She gets her fill of admiration and sprawls herself out in the hallway. I later learn her name is Lady. The next morning I meet Patti. She is she cutest nicest little old lady I've met! We have our introductions in the living room as she is preparing breakfast which consisted of egg soufflé, homemade bread, and fruit. At the table we meet the other guests of the B&B and we all make small talk as we consume our breakfast. There is no check-in time according to Patti. I was told we could come anytime. As far as check-out goes, I'm not sure. We left fairly early but I would assume you could leave whenever you want. If you find yourself yearning for a short trip I would suggest going to Bainbridge Island and staying at Holly Lane Gardens. The rates are reasonable, the house is beautiful, the location perfect for rest and relaxation, and Patti is so nice you'll definitely want to stay there again.

The tower rooms are very conveniently attached to the casino and easy to get back-and-forth to your room. If you stay in a Resort Room, that building is not attached and you have to walk through the parking lot to get to the casino. I have no complaints about the room, very clean and nice decor. My husband wished there was room service for breakfast the next morning but that is not available. I also wish they had valet parking. There is not nearly enough parking in the parking lot so if you don't find parking, you have to park in the parking garage and then walk all the way around back in to the hotel. Hotel staff were very friendly and the checkout process was easy. The second part of this review is going to be on the service from my work holiday party. The room was beautifully set up and the food was delicious. The staff that were coming around refilling water and taking plates were very attentive and friendly. We really liked Richard.
