I am currently still here and…read morevery very desperateLu want to leave. what started as a beautiful summer as very quickly become extremely sad and depressing since moving to Whitby apartment complex . it is definitely the glass house effect , what you see is far from what you get . is so noisy every day there is banging above you head then you're told they can only address noise after 10pm but it is noise day and night and nothing is done . There are lots excessive amount of people in the shared areas at loud volume quite often ; there is simply no peace living here every day that ends I am thankful as it means each day that ends takes me closer to my move out date which much too far away at this point I am feeling extremely depressed having made the mistake of moving in at Whitby apartments 2026 has indeed become very dark...Dog poo everywhere, so called minor un-accompanied guest every where and the flooring between apartments is simple defective we may as well lay out in the carpark and have people walk on our heads. The hallway doors slap very loudly all night every night I am in tears writing this review I hate living here...wish I had taken pics of the dog mess right on our patio to show but I'm sure there will be plenty opportunities...

I visited Anzio Apartments today as a prospective resident and unfortunately had a very…read moredisappointing experience. I entered the leasing office, sat down quietly, and waited approximately 10-15 minutes without a single acknowledgment from the leasing staff. There was no greeting, no "I'll be with you shortly," no eye contact -- nothing. I completely understand if staff are busy assisting other residents or applicants, but basic professionalism and courtesy go a long way, especially when someone is considering signing a lease and making a property their home. The apartments may be competitively priced, but the experience left me feeling unwelcome and ignored. First impressions matter, and unfortunately this one removed the property from consideration for me entirely.

I love my life here in the District! I was disappointed but neither surprised nor upset. This is the nature of new construction, they need a certificate of occupancy before anyone can move in and Some things in this industry are beyond control. It's brand new and I'm in this huge brand new building with only one (unseen) neighbor here! My little dog was master of the universe for a minute. It is a dog friendly property to say the least with a dog park and spa. Recently at renewal time I queried several neighbors as we all moved in about the same time. Most every one planned to renew. I renewed my lease too and I don't expect to go anywhere soon! We have amazing amenities; salt water pool with cabana surround, first class gym (I really need to visit more often) plus the kitchen/TV/pool room common space where the community hosts Saturday breakfast or Wine Down Wednesday which brings residents together. I've met some great people here! It is located in downtown Duluth within walking distance of this great up and coming area. Food truck Fridays and live music and festivals and restaurants across the street. I chose D@D because of the location, after moving in and meeting my neighbors and dealing with the great staff (they remember EVERYONE'S name) I know I chose wisely!

It's a long one, so grab the popcorn…read more Disclaimer: I wrote this review after receiving a large unexpected bill from them, but everything I've shared below is my honest opinion. It looks nice at first but things have gone down hill, especially since the new management company took over and my move out experience was horrible. I was made uneasy by the questionable construction. The building settled so much that our unit and some hallways have cracks in the drywall large enough for me to stick my finger in and the windows wouldn't open or shut properly (this is a big deal because of the train). I was especially worried about this after seeing the Miami condo collapse on the news. We frequently were tripping electrical breakers with standard items plugged in. Unless you live in the building with the parking deck, parking is a headache. The walls are incredibly thin, you will hear your neighbor's conversations, not to mention the train. The adjacent railway is heavily used day and night. It's noticeably worse than other apartments I lived in, especially other recent builds. I was tired of being woken up and tired of worrying that I would be disturbing others just by living a normal life. Expect staff to need to enter your home for inspections every one to two months. I'm not comfortable with strangers in my home without me present so this was a big inconvenience to me because they could never estimate a time, only a day. After moving out, I was charged more than double the early termination fee that we agreed to beforehand, even though we had been great residents since 2019. We even had our apartment professionally cleaned and I patched and sanded the walls where we hung things. 6 days after they sent my move out statement, the leasing office contacted me because the nearly 6k bill was due and it must be paid with certified funds. If they are going to send bills like that out, they should include detailed rationale and give more than a two week (yes, TWO) week notice, especially if certified funds are required. This is not right because they threaten to send it to collections 30 days after move out, *not* 30 days after they send you the bill. I wanted to object, but I was worried about the impact that would have on my credit. I wish I could go back in time and never move there, and I'm disappointed in myself that it took us so long to get out. In my experience they charge premium prices but in no way provide a premium experience. I have no doubt you can find better options for the money. Watch out because I believe reviews are scrubbed as evidenced by the huge difference in ratings depending on where you look.

There is a fitness center but it's not 24 hours and you have to walk thru the leasing office to get to it. Also a pool, tennis court and mini playgroud. However, when I lived here I enjoyed the car care center located in the back half of the apartments. I'd just pull up, bring my own supplies and I'd soap up and rinse of my vehicle! So nice to have! Overall management is good, clean grounds and they have valet trash pick up which I loved, I noticed the gate was open but also it's new. I also love that it's quiet and feels safe.

Woodland Trace wasn't so bad two years ago but they can't keep a leasing manager or property…read moremanager in the complex to save their lives. Since 2020 I've seen 3 property mangers and leasing managers. They are price gouging due to the pandemic but you never see where your money is going. If you can go somewhere else I would highly recommend.
