One of the worst companies I have dealt with to date. I called to schedule a 30 yard dumpster for a Wed, June 28, 2024 delivery for roofing materials. Initially unwanted that the dumpster would be delivered the following Monday by noon. I then received a call back from the company. William from the company informed me that a dumpster came available early and would be delivered on Friday, June 28th as originally requested. Friday came and went without the dumpster being delivered with no notification from the company. Of course they were closed all weekend so I had to leave a message requesting an update as to what happened. Monday 8am I called and they advised that the dumpster would be delivered by noon as one of their trucks were down. Okay no problem, sadly they didn't deliver until 4pm and the company did not even inform me. That was only after calling 7 times asking as to when the dumpster was being delivered. I understand trucks breaking down but the lack of communication and disrespect toward customers is disappointing. My roofing crew finished the roof mid day on Monday without any dumpster showing up. I had to pay my crew another day just to pick up all the debris and place it into the dumpster. When asked for a discount due to my profit loss from their lack of professionalism, I was offered $75, still not enough to cover my $400 fee I had to pay my crew. To top it off, I was promised pick up of the dumpster on Wed, July 3 just to be informed by the homeowner at 4pm on Wed that the dumpster still had not been picked up. Now I'm being told that the dumpster will not be picked up until Friday due to the holiday, causing my client to now not be able to use his driveway for his holiday party. Do not use this company, they do not stand my their word. They do not communicate and will rob you if you're money. If I could, I would put a 0 as rating. read more

They picked up the dumpster before the day we agreed upon. When I called they said they would call me back the next day to see if I needed it again. I did but they never called. I ended up paying someone else to take away the rest of the roofing material. read more

Do not use fined a local company quoted lower price but was billed higher said they would fix never did!

Reserved a 30 yd dumpster for Friday. Drove 2 1/2 hours with friends to help clean out our mountain house. No dumpster Friday, no dumpster Saturday morning. When I called they told me it would be there Monday morning!! Did nothing to rectify the situation. read more

This is absolutely the worst company! They run under other names. The one I dealt with was The Big Red Dumpster Company. I had a project which I needed 20 dumpsters back to back. Taken and returned same day. Not only did they not perform in providing the dumpsters as agreed. Sometimes they didn't come for three to four days clogging up the job site. To top it off. They charged me for dumpsters that they never delivered. By the sixth dumpster I had to fire them and replace them with a new company. Then, over a month later after they had been fired they are trying to charge $200 for over filling. One year later I'm still fighting with them even though I have provided photos of the dumpsters. read more

The Dumpster Company - Dumpster under Question - Dumpster Rental Near Me - Alpharetta, Georgia

The Dumpster Company in Alpharetta, GA, is a horrible company. You pay for recycling and garbage pickup, but they repeatedly dump all trash and recyclables into the same truck. I finally went out and talked to the driver today, asking if my *recyclables* were going to the landfill with the trash. He said yes and made some excuse as to why it wasn't getting recycled. This has gone on for weeks. Their drivers are major whiners too, complaining about construction trucks being in their way. Well, that's what happens when you opt to pick up garbage in a brand new under-construction subdivision. Talking to the Dumpster Company about the ongoing issue has not helped. Our HOA has complained, with no result. You do not get the services you pay for. To me, that's dishonest. Worse, the Dumpster Company doesn't care about the environment. read more

This is the worst company I've worked with in years. Starting off, all was fine, the driver delivered my concrete dumpster on time and parked it well in my driveway. I was assured that the unit would be picked up at maximum 7 days later, or earlier if I called. 4 days later I had the unit filled. I called and asked for a pickup. The guy on the phone said "Oh sure, we'll get it right away, time is money with those containers." 3 more days passed (now we're at the 7 day mark) and I call, multiple times. Each time they say "oh we're talking with dispatch, but they need to call us back". I ask to speak with a manager (I'm told one will call me back which never happens). I spent a total of 3 hours on the phone with various people, when finally one person says that dispatch has said they will pick up the unit today. Well they never came. That evening at 4pm with the dumpster still in my driveway I called multiple times but no one picks up. They don't even have a voicemail message. This company is basically a scam. They overbook their drivers and promise customers things they can deliver. On the phone, when I explained that the first time I called for pickup the guy told me that it was no problem and the unit would be picked up right away, the new guy said "oh no, he shouldn't have said that. This time of year it takes a long time to get to the dump. We're now just picking up containers from people that requested pickup a week ago". I then explained that the person that sold me the container had clearly lied, if what he was telling me was true. He declined to comment. I now have 3 pallets of material showing up on Monday with no space to put them, because The Chumpster Company was not forthright with their information. Shame on them. Do yourself a favor and do not use these people (unless, of course, you're comfortable letting a dumpster sit in your driveway for a week longer than they said it would). read more

Beware of this company. They are affiliated with the Big Red Dumpster Company and Dumpster 4 Junk. They will blind side you with dumpster and service charges. After a month, they charge my credit card for a dumpster service I never asked for or received and to top it off, they are fighting me on the charge. Unbelievable! These people are crooks. They are late on dumpster drop-offs and pickups. My husband and I would wait for the dumpster drop off and they did not show as scheduled. After the third time, we stopped doing business with them. Don't even get me started with their customer service. Just horrible. This company deserves no stars. read more

I stopped using Dumpster Company about 3 months ago and it's been well worth it. I first started when they offered their promotion of 3 months of free service. When I asked them about it, they only offer coupons to be used quarterly, something like $10 off per quarter. This is not worth the hassle of dealing with their customer service as they still have not returned my garbage can deposit ($30) even after they picked up the can. I should have kept the can if they're going to keep my $30. You cannot believe anything this company says as I have called repeatedly and asked for it back. They always say they will research it and get back to you but they never do. Go with the bigger companies, they won't ask you for a garbage can deposit. read more

They took advantage of my grandmothers inability to argue for herself, coming at 6am, 4 days late from when they were asked to pick up, and waking her up, then stacking on 200$ in fees because she couldn't get to the door in time. Will be following up with the Better Business Bureau among others. read more

Horrible service, was told the dumpster could be put and would be put in the back yard and we would get a call when they were getting ready to drop it off .. Never received a call and when we got home at 3:30 pm the dumpster was in the front yard with someone else's trash inside and blocking my elderly neighbors front porch entrance which is actually on the side of her house .. When calling to complain we were told that the guy didn't call because it was 8am and he don't like to bother people too early which is a LIE, we were home at 8am and that dumpster wasn't here in fact we were here till almost 10am.. We demanded it be picked up and was told that we would have to pay a pick-up fee of $250 but also it wouldn't be prompt .. I will never deal with these fools again .. HORRIBLE! Allen Park Michigan! read more

... NEVER EVER USE THE DUMPSTER COMPANY OR ANY OF ITS Affiliates ... About 21/2 months ago we ordered a dumpster. We told them it was going to be for concrete ONLY the lady gave us a price and they delivered it. It was the wrong dumpster but the guys who delivered it said not to worry that it would be the same price .. so trusting what a member of the company said we loaded it with ONLY concrete. We got the credit card statement and the price that was quoted a little over $400.00 was on the there . WELL fast forward to this months statement they charged us another $700.00 . Reason they gave us .... we went over because of the concrete... WTF HELLO WE ASKED FOR A DUMPSTER FOR CONCRETE. They are shady and due to an error on the part of the company we are paying the price. They are scam artist WISH I COULD GIVE THEM - stars they suck!!! read more

This is a DISASTER. We contracted for a port a john for delivery. The unit did not arrive on the scheduled day despite repeated phone calls from us to the company. AND they double charged our credit card. I'd continue to write, but I need to go outside into my backyard to urinate. read more

This is a terrible company. Please save yourself the trouble and avoid doing business with these people. The trash service is unreliable. I never knew exactly which day they would show up. Some weeks they never showed up at all. I think other trash services took mercy upon me and picked up my trash sometimes. I've cancelled the service over a month ago. They won't pick up their trash can despite my repeated request for them to do so. They say they don't have time. But, if I get rid of it myself, they will have time to charge me $150. read more

They have been skipping the service since last several weeks and we have been calling them everyday. They do not pick the phones and return the calls. Unfortunately by mistake i paid them extra and they are not giving my money back too. Horrible people to talk to, Horrible service. This company is crooked. I called to discuss the layout of my property because I was concerned they might not be able to deliver (large trucks have delivered before, but I wanted to be sure). The dispatcher reviewed Google street view to see the property and was confident the delivery could be made. A truck was dispatched but the driver said he didn't think he could make the delivery, without even trying. The dispatcher decided to send a LARGER truck, as she felt the driver was wrong and was confident the delivery could be made. That delivery was not available until the next day, so I declined. At no time was there mention of a failed delivery or "trip" fee. The company charged my credit card for a $585.00 rental fee and a $170 trip fee. For a dumpster that was not delivered, or even attempted. AFTER that, they sent me a contract to sign that included information about a trip fee. I got no help from the company so I disputed the charges with my credit card. They sided with me, as did the company's own bank, and the charges were reversed. Now, I am being threatened with collections over a new $100 trip fee bill. Save yourself the trouble and use ANY OTHER COMPANY. read more

Terrible company. They failed to deliver what I ordered and then refused to make it right. Offered to deliver what I originally ordered for another full price fee. Very arrogant and couldn't care less about customer service. Find a local company for your Dumpster needs. read more

Before this company changed owners our family never experienced trouble with this company. They have now more than once failed to send any invoices whatsoever and ceased their services without warning. Not only this but they have threatened our family legally over a very petty bill. They sent a contractor to pick up trashcans without warning in our neighborhood; one of our neighbors came to our house asking if we had seen anyone take his trashcan... this company deals with people as if they are nothing to them. This contractor, tailgated me and gave me looks as if he were trying to intimidate me and followed me out of our neighborhood. I will contact the Georgia BBB shortly. This company is not very competent and unless you want a company who treats customers poorly and who behave as anti-socially as a high-school bully than I would simply recommend another company for services. read more

Same story as the previous review. Obviously this has been going on for a while. They dont recycle. Period.
