They always show up. They even pick up on holidays, so my trash doesn't overflow. They are very responsive when you call the office as well.

When we first signed up with Longhorn Sanitation, we were told our pick up day was Thursday. After putting our trash on the curb by 6am a couple of times and getting missed, we were told they actually picked up around midnight. So we started putting our trash out Wednesday nights. We have had great service and on complaints for the last couple of years. However, recently, the pick up time has gotten earlier and earlier on Wednesday but there has been no communication of our day changing. When we call the office, the continue to tell us our pick up day is Thursday. When we have our cans to the street before 8:30pm on Wednesday and they don't get picked up - our day is NOT Thursday. When we call to say our pick up is missed, we can't get anyone to pick up until the following Wednesday. It gets to be very frustrating - especially since they will charge extra for extra bags! If you need to change the day, that is understandable, but there should be communication to your customers to that effect. read more

We've been using Longhorn's Sanitation for over 9 years and couldn't be happier. They are always on time, pick up all our trash and recycling and even work on holidays. They DO NOT take trash out of your bin and leave it on the street. In fact, they will take everything out of the bin AND pick up overage outside the bin...highly recommended. read more
