If I could give them 10 stars, I would! I've lived in Cobb county for the better part of the last 13 years. I've used a few other sanitation companies but none can even come close to the quality of customer service and professionalism that I've experienced with West Cobb Sanitation. It simply amazes me how many people that will complain on social media about their company but will not do anything about it- "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.".. Albert Einstein.. When you are tired of dealing with the madness of your old company.. come over to the calm side... Call West Cobb Sanitation.. there number is: (770) 499-1279 read more

I have had to call West Cobb Sanitation three times to pick up my recycling. They just forget to drive their trucks down my road on my scheduled trash day. I've called management three times. They apologize and give me a credit, but never correct their issues. I don't understand what's going on there internally, but do yourself a favor and find another trash service. These guys are a joke. read more

West Cobb Sanitation - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me - Marietta, Georgia

West cobb was great once they got bought out by this new company all they care about is the money not the customer. Last time I made a payment I had payed an extra $40. Just like clockwork my trash and recycle was supposed to be pickup today and it was missed. I looked at the website and said I didn't pay, well I never got an invoice to pay the other $40, would have been nice to know. I ended up paying but now I have to wait another week for them to pickup. All they had to do is email or call is all it takes, I would understand if I was 1 month behind but not a week. Do better with your customers. read more

In terms of customer service and follow through, they get a grade of F. NICE and polite when you call but there is no follow through. My 92 year old dad started valet service and they have yet to pick up although he is paying for it. You can call them but they do not come pick up and you have to wait a week for next pass him by!!! These folks.we're not thoroughly vetted before selling them the business. Shame on west Cobb sanitation doing this to its loyal customers. Thinking about boycotting the pine straw business!!!!!!! read more

The best ever. Been with them for years and really like the reliability of them. Nice guy's on the trucks. They take everything I put out.Even a old toilet. read more

They do what they say...pick up trash and recycling on Monday. I don't have to think about it. I had American Disposal previously and every week was a guessing game. Are they coming today? Are they coming tomorrow? Are the coming at all. No guessing with WCS. read more

We salute the sanitation employees for their dedication! They come on time, take away the trash and if you have a question about what type of trash they can pick up, they answer patiently and with knowledge! West Cobb Sanitation is the best! read more

Been with West Cobb for years, never had a single issue with their performance. They are always willing to pick up oversized/bulky items for a small fee. Recommend them to all in the Cobb county area. read more

THE BEST TRASH SERVICE WE'VE EVER USED! I seriously can not say enough good things about these guys. We've been using them for a few years now and not one problem in all that time. The guys on our route always honk and wave and are a pleasure to deal with. I'd rate them a 10/10! Update: 8 months later and I still think their awesome! read more

The service is awesome best choice my wife and I made GOD BLESS guys please keep up the excellent work.

I am new to the area and had the misfortune of going with a competitor American Disposal. They consistently did not pickup my trash and always made excuses. I found West Cobb Sanitation on yelp I like what I read all of the reviews were positive. I was excited to share with my husband but he had also discovered a Sanitation company from our neighbor. Thankfully we were looking at the same Sanitation company. West cobb Sanitation crew shows up weekly and take whatever I sit out. More importantly they are friendly, easy to get a hold of and professional. read more

Best company I've ever hired! Nicest owner and best service! Would definitely recommend West Cobb Sanitation and their pinestraw service is great too! read more

This company goes above and beyond in the customer service department!! We will never use another company.

They're the best! The trucks are so quiet that sometimes I don't know when they're nearby. I have missed them but I don't mind because they come not once but TWICE a week. I used to have another company but their prices went up and they would only come once a week with recycling every other week. Switching to west Cobb sanitation has been a great experience. The guys wave to my daughter when we are outside and sometimes when they see us looking out the window. read more

Update...our cans were worn through on bottoms. I've called to discuss this . Was given an update on new can procurement . In no time our old cans were picked up/removed & the next day a beautiful new heavy duty "rolly" cart was in our drive right where it belongs!!! Again, priceless service! Highly recommend!! read more

Huge shout out to the company and it's owner. Steve took care of an issue I had with. Very happy with their customer service and price.

West Cobb Sanitation is the best! They take everything , never leave trash on the ground and are very dependable. Well worth the cost and if you pay yearly there is a discount. read more

Very efficient, prompt, and polite! The BEST service going and thankful for a company who delivers great results!

Not closed! Dependable, twice weekley pickup. It would be a 5, but they have a 5 bag limit on yard waste. Recommended.

Wonderful! These guys go above and beyond. I love that they pick up more than just your standard trash and recycling and the pine straw hookup isn't too shabby either! read more

I've been getting twice weekly pick-up by these folks since they started business. In my opinion the service is excellent and the best available. read more

We have had West Cobb Sanitation as long as we can remember. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would do so. They have always been fabulous and have never missed a trash pickup or recycle pickup. Also have always taken all the crazy "stuff" we sometimes put out!! Great company and always friendly service!!!! read more

Trash Pick up is dependable. Price is competitive. 2 out of 3 isn't so bad. This once small company has grown too fast and isn't particularly concerned about customer retention. It's a numbers racket for them. read more

I've used West Cobb Sanitation as well as their pinestraw service for 15 years and cannot recommend them enough. Personal service, the twice per week pickup is fantastic for families with diapers! Their trucks don't speed through the neighborhood or BACK UP into cul de sacs, which is so dangerous. And for years, I dreaded spreading pinestraw, but when they do it all you have to do is sit back and relax and it's done in minutes with a smile. They are locally-owned and invested in our community in West Cobb too, not some chain buying lists. read more

Been a customer of these guys for my household trash service for 16 years...ever since we moved out here from Smyrna. When we moved in 16 years ago, they were already servicing our neighborhood, and their service was great. Their prices were really reasonable as well. But over the years, and especially here lately, their service is nowhere near what is has been in the past. In truth, it's nowhere near what it was 6 months ago. I frequently put vegetative waste at the curbside, not bagged, not bundled. Just piled neatly next to the curb. Until Memorial Day weekend, they had always picked it up without any special requirements other than nothing over 4 feet in length. So...I did some major pruning on my landscaping over Memorial Day weekend, cut everything into 4 foot or less lengths, and put it out by the curb as usual. The first pickup came and went, the pile remained. I attributed this to having to double up their routes after the holiday and didn't even think about it. Second pickup...pile was still there. So my wife calls them...and they inform her that the debris has to be bagged or tied in bundles. Really? Yeah, I can easily bag or bundle a pile about the size of a full-sized truck bed. Just 2 weeks before they removed a similar pile without incident. This time...they want me to do all the work. To this end, I spent yesterday hauling the pile off myself and dropping $10 on a haul ticket at Cobb County's vegetative waste facility. Maybe I should just subtract that haul ticket from their next billing...since now I am doing their job for them. What this tells me is they are no longer about service...they are all about the quick and easy money. If they have to spend more than 10-15 seconds at a house, apparently they are not making enough money. Quantity of stops is obviously taking priority over quality of service. I find it funny that they 50% more than they did just a few years ago, but they do 1/2 the work and deliver 1/2 the service that they did at the cheaper price. Guess that's the new way of the world... Looks like I might be finding a new company to pickup my household trash... read more
