We were paying the old company on an annual basis because it is thru our neighborhood HOA and we've always paid extra to have weekly recycling. Only a month or so into taking over, they announced that they were suspending recycling service for three weeks due to drivers being sick with omicron. I can understand that this could happen and just let the recycling pile high in our wheeled bin, figuring we could make it fit for three weeks. We're now over four weeks into this and our HOA has informed us that they won't be collecting recycling until further notice and no refunds are being given on the service that we already paid for. Today I had to spend over an hour of my time emptying the four weeks of collected recycling in the bin and sorting it all out and bringing it to the Forsyth County recycling station. This company doesn't care.

The man asked what I had, and I told him recycling. There were two other cars dropping off inside as well as well and I would have been there just a few minutes. He said, nope I should have gotten there at 4 turned his back and walked off. The irony here is that I would have been there much earlier but was asked by a neighbor if I could take their recycling. I guess no good deed goes unpunished. Makes me want to just throw it all in the trash.
