We had lunch here recently and the outdoor seating was very nice with umbrellas to block the sun. The food was very mediocre. We ordered garlic Parmesan chicken tenders and a chicken Parmesan tower. They were both literally tasteless. The were cooked well and looked the part, however, there was zero seasoning. I didn't bother to finish them. It wasn't worth the calories. Came here for the prime rib special on Tuesday. The place fills up quickly, get there before five if you want the special before it sells also. The prime rib was fine, though there's no au jus. Can't beat the price. However, if you think you got forgotten and are wondering where all the servers went, you probably did. It was frustrating to be invisible in such a small space. We wanted to patronize local businesses and gave this place a try. Sad to say, we won't be back. We ordered burgers (what can go wrong with a staple menu item was our thinking)...we ordered them 'medium well'. My husband's burger was BURNT in one side, mine had some pink. Nonetheless, we did not send it back and ate it. The burger gave my husband diarrhea several hours later. Our server never came to check on us after she placed our meals on the table, and she acknowledged that and apologized. The vibe was a bit low there. We visited The Dublin for their advertised Prime Rib Special starting at 5:00 PM. Since it was first come, first served, our group of four arrived at 4:30 PM to be sure we'd get the special. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. Our waiter didn't take our order until 5:15 PM, even though we were seated and ready. We all ordered the prime rib special, then waited another 20 minutes while other tables that arrived after us received their meals. When our waiter finally returned, he told us there were only three prime rib dinners left. To make matters worse, we watched as another couple--who had just been told the special was sold out and were preparing to leave--were suddenly offered a prime rib meal. It was clear they took one of ours to give to them. The service throughout was painfully slow and disorganized. After that experience, I can confidently say I will never return. read more

Food nicely seasoned and delicious. I will say it is slightly pricey but it is worth it. Good quality of the food and drinks makes it worthwhile. The Dublin definitely a favorite of mine. The service is top notch. Everyone is friendly and inviting. The outside patio now has a small bar. Although the restaurant is on the main street, there is not a lot of noise from traffic. They always have the most amazing live music. My go to dinner is the pastrami Ruben. It's is always made perfectly. The bread is toasted to the right amount of crunch and the pastrami is layered on in a heaping pile. We had a great sever and a really good meal. Calamari is always a crap shoot. So often it's overcooked and rubbery. This was some of the best calamari I've eaten. I also had the fish and chips that featured a light and crispy crust. Had an interesting flavor I can't identify but really enjoyed. Both the calamari and fish was recommended by our very friendly server. My wife had a Rueben. Their pastrami was house made and had a great flavor. We all went to The Dublin to celebrate a family birthday. There were 7 of us, 5 adults, 2 kids. They were able to seat us in the Piano Room. We ordered boneless wings in 2 flavors, mushrooms and calamari. The wings were very good. The right balance of coating, sauce and chicken. Well cooked, not greasy or dry. The calamari was so good it looked like we had never eaten before. I did not try the mushrooms but they must have been okay cause they all were eaten. Toni got a BLT, I got fish and chips. The fries were good. Fresh, hot, salty. The fish was okay. The coating was a little bland. I know I have high expectations, but when the fish is good it is so good. The BLT was giant. Toni got 2 meals out of it. We all shared a single slice of cheesecake. Also very good. Service was excellent. Thank you Taylor. We can be a needy bunch. Mortified! Stopped in after seen multiple advertisements and billboards. It was Friday night, bar was busy and restaurant side was quiet. Me and my two female guest started off with quite a nice meal until a female patron at the bar started to swear at the top of her lungs with language that was beyond outrageous, this went on for several minutes. The waitress just came by and jokingly said this happens sometimes on the bar side. No management stopping by, it was just like any other day. They may have good food but not an atmosphere for family's or anyone else that might have an ounce of dignity. There aren't many restaurants in East Hampton, but I'm going to try my best to visit all of them. My experience with this one rates high on the scale. The food & service was phenomenal. I came in on an extremely cold Saturday night. Even though the bar area was calling me, I decided to sit in the main dining room. I wanted a more low key dining experience. The tap room had a few guests that were chatting & laughing amongst themselves & with the bartender, all while watching the games on the flat screens hanging behind the bar. That night, the main room provided live entertainment. The solo singer & pianist were doing mellow songs from the 40s & later in different keys. It was quite pleasant & at a volume that wasn't intrusive at all. Upon being seated we were given the regular menu & the specials menu. We were also given waters. I thought it was odd that the water came in a plastic cup, you'd get at a nightclub. The atmosphere in the dining room is intimate. The tables are covered with tableclothes, with candle centerpieces & there's aged paintings on the walls. The ambiance is great for a date night. So the plastic cups felt out of place. I did order wine & that came in an wine glass. We ordered the potstickers & boy were they loaded with flavor! They may have been the best I've ever tasted. I can't begin to name all the spices, but ginger stood out & it had small kick to it. The thick sweet teriyaki sauce complemented it well & balanced the spice. For the main course, I was intending on ordering the prime rib, since they have it every Friday and Saturday. However, I went for their special, potato crusted salmon. My taste buds were rejoicing! This thick piece of salmon was cooked evenly to a medium temperature from end to end. The skin was left on but it wasn't crunchy. Which is ok because the potato crust on top added that crunch texture. I would eat this salmon everyday if I could. The mashed potatos & spinach was also great. They have whole cooked garlic cloves on the spinach. After I ate one, I pushed the rest of the cloves to the side. Initially, I didn't taste it, but it hit me as I was eating. Afterwards, I could tell I needed brush every inch of my mouth. Regardless of that, dinner was still delicious, I'd just make sure to not eat a whole clove again. Additionally, the amount of food was also generous. I'm a potato person & I couldn't finish all of the mashed potatoes & belive me, I put in some effort. With that being said, we ordered fried calamari that tasted more like curly fries with an overly peppery seasoning. My Guinness was either poured terribly or it had been sitting on the bar for a day. However, the allagash white tasted equally terrible. Service was decent at best and the white tablecloths led to a confusing atmosphere. Went back recently, and I'm really glad I did - the food is way better than it was a couple of years ago and the expansion of the restaurant is great, especially on nights when they have music - the volume is much more balanced. After a night out to see the Hebron lions Christmas display at the fairgrounds we stopped here for dinner afterwards. My daughter had the lobster bisque and Shepard's pie. The soup was excellent the Shepard's pie decent. My wife had the clam chowder and a burger. The burger was quite tasty and the clam chowder was good. Myself I had the French onion and the chicken sandwich. The sand watch was good the French onion was only OK. The sandwiches came with in house fries. That were decent. I'll start by saying the waitress was very friendly. That was about the only positvie thing. We ordered onion soup and it was way too salty. On top of that, our main meals came out almost on top of the soup. My husband got Shepherd's pie and it was almost all potatoes with a very thin line of the beef at the bottom. This is a really nice Pub on Rte 66 in East Hampton very near Lake Pocotopaug. They have pub and patio seating as well as a dining area. The Dublin was well staffed and efficient. Their brew selection on tap was fairly extensive & varied. The menu included a variety of sandwiches and entrees as well as daily specials. I went with the Irishman (a Ruben) and my wife went with the Chicken Caesar Salad. Prices were reasonable & portions generous. (There wasn't an ounce of fat on the corned beef.) The Dublin features live music pretty much on a daily basis in the evening. If you're in the area, The Dublin is worth the stop. read more

My daughter and granddaughter both had the lobster Mac and cheese. They both said it was good. I pulled the short straw. I ordered the stuffed cod. It might have been good if I got it when it was fresh. It was definitely prepped days ago. I don't understand why you would pre-prep fish.
