Anyway, adding in a proper point of sales system would increase sale completion time by about 250 to 300%. The workers are not the sharpest tools in the box and that's being nice, but I'd like to explain to them if they don't understand, that is the difference between 2 1/2 times profit made per day or even three times profit made per day. Why do you think the cash registers are constantly jammed? Because they have the key everything in themselves!!!!!! at this point I really think it would be better to change it to one of those fair kind of things where the people act like they're from the 1900s and you see how life was lived that way. When you walk into this location, you'll damn sure feel like you're back in 1995. The funniest thing about it is that either the CEO or his son said the reason they didn't wanna implement scanning barcodes was so that the employee and customer could interact more. I'm sorry I just laughed so hard, A little bit of water came out of my nose. If you even try to interact with the customer, your chances of making a slight mistake, go up, exponentially,q most of your concentration needs to be on ringing up. Also, they are so so so scared about change scammers, guess what? A scanning gun and SKUs on the back of your product will make that go way down too. Do you get what I'm trying to say here? I don't see this business making it past another three or four years less, they start implementing these at all stores like..... yesterday. also, there are a week and B week sales. Nothing really changes, every a week will have pretty much the same sales as do the B weeks. There might be one or two changes every couple weeks and that's about it. Also, they aren't sales. If you were to see how much the Christmas stuff cost without it being 50% off.... Forget about it. They'd probably be closed down before quarter four of 2027 if that was the case, they just find out a good price for it to make a profit, then they double it but take 50% off so you feel like you're getting a great deal. You're not getting a deal at all you're getting the regular price. I've never been to a worst retail store in my life. And no one appreciates having beliefs shoved in their face. Not to mention the CEO and his son's are legitimate criminals, they smuggled religious artifacts out of Iraq and were forced to pay $3 million, very very big deal. It even went to the Supreme Court. You would think this green family and their holier than now attitude wouldn't be stealing extremely rare religious material, and then double down and lie, saying they paid for it or made some other kind of deal. Lastly, the charities they heavily donate to our extreme, right wing conservative, in fact, some are so extreme they even plan anti LGBTQ rallies, and they're really bad eggs will make it a habit to go "gay bashing". I cant believe Ive told a few people about having worked here
