Showed up at my place , had a leak in the tank in the master bedroom toilet , and the guy said it had to be replaced. The guys name Chris said it would cost around 521 dollars. . The toilet and tank he wanted to take out was a water saver kohler uses a half gallon to flush. its a good toilet tank, So after he left , I took a look into the tank, and saw it was loose , so I took a screwdriver and tighten up the 3 screws. And problem solved. Apparently it only took a screwdriver, but yet they wanted to replace the whole take , and on top for 521 dollars. I called the Drain Team on a Saturday afternoon because my toilet wouldn't flush and my washer drain kept backing up. Ryan came Saturday evening and snaked my line and all was working in bathroom. He sent Matt and Ron back Sunday, they dug my line up pipe in front yard, cut out a piece, pressure cleaned main line, repaired back and re piped a new line & repiped my laundry room properly. They did a great job, were there on time, cleaned up and less expensive than my regular plumber. Great work at an extremely fair price. The Drain Team, hmm, named for draining your wallet. I had a plumber come out, he went over costs, which by the way, there's a cost for everything it seemed. I decided to have him snake it since it was a priority with the toilet water leaking over into the shower. The plumber finished and things worked for awhile, a day or so. The plumber said he can't go on the roof due to not being allowed cause they can break tiles with heavy equipment. Hmmm, I have a plumber friend who gets on the roof and he came out to fix the problems drain team caused. The first plumber though pulled up the toilet to snake it instead of the roof stack. This caused water to leak under a newer floor I put over tile. Plumber says to fan out to dry, so I do. It dried, but then I kept seeing water in the cracks of the stick tile. I had to pull he entire floor up. Good thing I did, water almost made it to our carpet. The toilet continued to work but the shower caused the toilet to leak out of the sides after I removed floor. I called again and a second plumber came out and did nothing. I called to explain and advise I wasn't happy about ruined floor. Plus I told the first plumber that the toilet needs to be sealed with two rings when my plumber buddy actually used an oversize ring with a normal one added when it was first installed. I wanted drain team to come back out and rewax ring and re snake since it says I have a 30 day warranty. The guy at office called and wanted me to explain several times. On the idea of having a 4th plumber come out, I told the office guy to cancel it. It seems they tried to prolong taking care of it so it would go past the 30 day warranty. The 3rd plumber even asked to look at first paperwork which shows well within a month. The 4th plumber says he needs to run to another job to get a camera to check things out after walking around house and asking questions like he cared, i'm not stupid, I can tell he was prolonging it. He never came back, so I called the office. I was told that he didn't come back cause talked to his boss. I originally told this plumber if it's gonna cost me more than I will just call my plumber friend. So apparently, since he didn't come back there would be more charge, see, what about warranty. My plumber friend, Antones plumbing, by the way, came out today and fixed "The money drain teams" problem. So, if you want to spend more money and get damaged bathroom, bathroom you can't use, and the run around, go ahead call these guys. Oh, and the office guy kept asking to effect what exactly is going on/what's the problem. I could tell it's just the run around again so I told him to cancel the 4th guy they have caused too many problems already. He tried to keep me on phone but told him to cancel. So now, I feel they basically stole the approx $234 they charged to snake drain, not fix problem and damaged our bathroom. Oh yeah, was told HR would call and they never did. I'm not sure how they are if they actually come out, but they get one star from me on my limited interaction with them. We need a plumber today. I go to their website first and see they really tout their ability to get out same day, claiming they can usually get someone there within an hour. I didn't even need the one hour service, but I do need same day - which Drain Team seems to think they have no problem doing. I was told when I called that they were "really booked up today," - could they send someone tomorrow. Um, no. I can't do laundry, I can't wash dishes - I need someone today. The woman with whom I was speaking did not seem like she could have cared any less. I recommend these guys change their page to read "sometimes we can get there same day and sometimes we can't, and if we can't we won't act as if we care." read more

Called them in January 2014 for a leaky sink. They said it needed a new faucet even though it was only two years old! they installed a new faucet, which cost me $263 with the faucet and it was still leaking same place!! Long story short, four visits....still leaking!!!! Sent out another plumber. Leak subsides. Nine months later it's leaking again from the same spot!!!! Called DRAIN team, and they will come out but will have to charge me for work since the warrantee is only for 30 days. So......I bought a faucet I DIDNT need, and still have a leak. Asked to speak to manager, and haven't heard back from them and it's 6 days!!!! Stay away, they are very unprofessional and incompetent! read more

This company sent a young guy out on a Sunday afternoon to unclog a badly stopped up drain. He was clean cut, friendly, knowledgable and efficient. He shimmied up his ladder and had me up and running in a matter of minutes. He carefully outlined possible looming problems because of the age of my house. And he even got down on the floor and entertained my miniature dachshunds for a few minutes. I would highly recommend this company! read more

Don't call for emergency repairs. Advised me at 1040 am they would be here between 1-4, then called me @ 117pm to say they couldn't make it and would be tomorrow. When you have to turn off your water due to a leak, waiting a day is not an option. The worst. Took the time to explain everthing in detail to worker, he still placed pipes in the wrong locations, at the wrong angles, came unprepared - didn't have the right cable, the right clamps, etc. etc. He must have made three different trips to the hardware store. This job should have taken a day but instead took two full days and still isn't done. He then added another $1,000 to the price because he said he forgot to include some of the work we discussed in detail before work started. We've decided to finish the work with someone else to make sure it's done right. What a collassal waste of money. The job consisted of installing a new water heater, washer and dryer (with vent already in place in the ceiling) and sink. The room was fully plumbed before any work was done. Wish I had read other yelp reviews before hiring them. read more

We paid this company over $900 to fix a pipe that was leaking outside. Since they have done the work, there has been a problem. The pressure in the house is not right and they will not fix it. They sent someone out and who said "there is no problem" and now we have low water pressure in the house. Do not waste your time with this company. Lightning hit and broke a pipe under the slab. The Drain Team responded quick and attempted a fix. Their work was okay the problem was the price, VERY EXPENSIVE. I got taken for over $1200 for no repair. Their estimate to replace the pipes was 2 to 3 times what others estimated. I am really upset this morning. I called the drain team and was put on hold by the answering service for over 30 minutes. When they finally got to the phone they said the office was closed till 10:00 and they would take a message. The answering service said they would page someone for me ask me personal questions about where I lived. Then no one called me back. 30 minutes later I called them back and got a live body who said he had already had assigned calls to all his plumbers but they could come this afternoon. On Saturday, the morning of our open house, our toilets became backed up and the master shower would not drain. Needless to say we were panicked. We called the Drain Team and were assured they would be able to help. Matt came to our house, quickly diagnosed the problem, quoted a fair price and got to work. I called them for a blocked kitchen sink, the plummer snaked the roof vent and the clean out, did not snake the sink or use a water jetter. He left my mother who has terminal cancer with the sink still blocked and charged me $376.95 I was just visiting for a few days from New Mexico and did not have time to search for a good plummer who would unblock a sink for a reasonable price. Senior citizen mom was quoted $397 for a job and when she wanted me to give the green light I was told it would be the same over the phone. When asked how they come up with the price J**h got defensive and advise he was doing my mother a favor! When I called to complain about his lack of professionalism and to get some more info, customer service advised that the work order was suspended and I was put on hold, when she came back on the line she said that the cost would be $283.97. Talked to the supervisor and he said he would deal with the plumber in his own way. At the end of the day I felt the Supervisor didn't believe that we were verbally quoted $400 and that the cost would be $283.97...take it or leave it!!! Oh the nice part was that the plumber went back into the house and told my mom and her friend that he didn't verbally quote the $397....what?? The kitchen sink drain pipes (that are leaking) run inside a concrete block wall. My wife called the company to find out if they are able to fix this from start to finish and to get an estimate, the lady said that yes they could do the job. When the guy showed up I explained to him how/what we found and what could be involved in the repair, he then told me that they will cut the hole in the block wall but they will not do the patch work (strike 1). Since the leak detection person did not show me the exact location of the leak his demeanor changed and almost sounded as if he did not want the job and he mentioned that he would have to cut holes in kitchen cabinets (strike 2). After showing the guy everything he went to his van to write up what I thought was an estimate ( it was actually the contract to do the work) for a minimal $700 plus taxes and what ever else might come up. While I was reading the paperwork he told me to just sign the line that is a waiver for him to do the work. Here is were it gets interesting. He told me that they are NOT responsible for any damage that they might cause. Basically, if they accidentally cut into the water supply that we will have to pay for them to fix that (strike 3). I then explained to him again that all I wanted is an estimate of how much it would be. He said oh that's right, you did say that, he then goes to his van to rewrite the estimate and 5 minutes later I see him leaving with out saying anything (you're outta here!). I personally would not recommend these guys to thread a garden hose because if the mess up the threads they will charge you to fix them. read more
