When I came in to exchange it with the receipt I was told by the Manager (Ray) that they did not have 1/2" in stock. Okay fine, I said. Please issue a refund for the tubing I was returning. Then he said that they did not carry the brand I was trying to return. Obviously, they did because I bought it 2 days ago off their shelf, the cashier rang up the sale and gave me a receipt. I had the receipt. The receipt showed 1/4" inch tubing, 100'. This was entered incorrectly by the cashier when I purchased it. Ray proceeded to tell me about how it was wrapped in plastic and they don't do that with their tubing. He then told me it had the wrong kind of label on it, that they don't use that label. He then told me that they don't carry that size. Obviously, he was inferring that I didn't buy the tubing from their store. Interestingly, Ray was doing something on the isle when I bought the tubing 2 days earlier and we spoke briefly. I reminded him of that. The cashier said that they would honor it, but that wasn't the point. Ray made it sound like I was trying get away with something.......in front of 2 other customers. It was insulting and embarrassing at the same time. For a lousy $11 of tubing. I'm a Chino Valley resident and have been going to that store for over 7 years. I was treated like I was being dishonest. I will NEVER go back there.

I found all that I needed so I was happy about that but when I came to getting my keys made, I had an issue. I asked the nearest associate by the name of Leslie, near the key making machine for help. She acted rudely never saying a word throughout the entire key making process. She appeared to be "bothered" by my request. She found the right blanks and finished up with the first one when I asked to check the key in the lock I brought. Again, she seemed "bothered" by my request. When she finished the second key she wanted to bag it and again I asked to check the key. She rolled her eyes and again seemed "bothered". Both keys worked well and I told her "good job, thank you". No response, just turned and walked away. I get that people have bad days at work and maybe she had issues outside of her job that she was focused on. My suggestion would be that the people who are there to help customers who are spending hard earned money get better training when dealing with the public. I have been a loyal customer for years but have now considered going down the street to Lowe's. I ask that this complaint gets to the proper supervisor and something be done. I'm sure I will get the same canned response as all the other people who wrote negative reviews and that will justify my going elsewhere. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Charlie

This home depot feels like any other home depot. Has the same products and prices as the other home…read moredepots. But the biggest problem is the customer service. Most of the employees at this location are very rude and grumpy or grouchy. They also sound like they have no clue how to help when you're confused or can't find what you're looking for. I wouldn't recommend going to this location unless it's the closest to you.

No, really: their store, like every other ACE Hardware store, is supplied from the same regional warehouses as everyone else... so all of them have access to the same merchandise at the same price. The excuse for high prices "We have high costs of transportation due to our distance" is pure BRAVO SIERRA. The high prices, set by the franchise owner, are egregious. They have a policy that if you fill your propane tanks, you can dump your trailer's septic tank free of charge. I needed to add some water to the freshwater tank, by put the only hose was the same one that people used for flushing their septic tank dump hose. The propane guy stood talking with someone for over 40 minutes -- knowing that we were waiting for propane. We waited... very patiently. After RVs began blocking the right lane of 89, waiting to get in, I guess someone called the store, asking if someone could wake up the propane guy. Took about six minutes to fill our tanks, at almost twice the normal price. After walking around in the wet sewage from other RVs, I didn't think I'd ever wear those shoes again. The area is not at all maintained. Or cleaned. Wear disposable boots, or galoshes. Very narrow parking area for maneuvering a trailer, especially with light vehicles zipping around the parking lot, blissfully unaware that 52' of tow vehicle and trailer don't stop on a dime. For a place that does double-duty as a church on Sunday, they aren't very friendly or hospitable. I don't know what they're in business for. Neither do they.

January 25, 2020 4…read morestars (for now that is). Nice smooth experience at this Home Depot in Prescott Valley, AZ today. Excellent service in the paint department and then walked right up to a helpful (and human) cashier to pay. Fantastic. Patronize this Home Depot location while you can still enjoy the service experience before they convert this Home Depot over to 100% self checkout stations just like the Home Depot stores have done where I live (Southern California). Yes, that's right, not one single cashier anymore. All self checkout. No one to help you at all. Nothing. Zero. Nada. You are on your own. The HDCI (Home Depot Corporate Idiots) believe that eliminating cashiers and having only self checkout stations is a great idea (for them) and will eventually convert this Prescott Valley Home Depot location as well. It's only a matter of time. They don't care about inconvenience for you. It's all about profit. They hurt our economy (eliminating employees), they don't care, it's all about profit. Customer service? Forget about it. I despise self checkout and refuse to use them. I'll leave the shopping cart full of merchandise and walk right out the front door. Let the employees they no longer have at these stores put the stuff back on the shelves! Once this Home Depot (in Prescott Valley) converts to all self checkout stations, I urge you to take your business elsewhere. Lowe's, Ace, anywhere but Home Depot! See my photo below of the future Prescott Valley, Home Depot "Employee of the Month".

That's not all, they really weren't speaking in professional or friendly moods either so it is clear they do not like to speak to anyone. I would avoid this Home Depot at all costs because there are so many other locations out there and other hardware stores with better service.

I've been in there 5 times, and made a purchase 4 times. The first three times, the guy helping me answered my questions and gave good advice on what to buy. The next two times I got the cold shoulder and a brush off. I dealt with him and one other person behind the counter. They copped major attitudes and refused to answer any questions. He bad mouthed the "guys in orange", yet he was actually wrong on a few simple things too, come to find out. At least the guy in orange I dealt with WANTED to answer my questions, he answered them correctly (I passed inspection), and had everything I needed for my project at better prices than this jerk at Winlectric. I guess if you're a contractor and you know everything already and its not your own money you're spending, go ahead and patronise this business. If you're John Q.
