Great for Instagram and Facebook, but that's really where it shines…read more Unfortunately, the donuts feel way overpriced for the taste and skill involved. Compared with the real artisanal donuts I have tried elsewhere, these don't feel particularly unique. I've ordered the Nutella Bomb, Crème Brûlée , Boston Cream, Strawberry Cheesecake, and the Strawberry Maritour. They all seem to use the same base donut, cut it in half, add a bit of whipped cream and fruit, then switch things up with different glazes or a sprinkle of icing sugar. The result is a lot of "same donut" with a similar texture and overall mouthfeel, just with slightly different flavors. Sadly, I would not go back, simply because when you spend $45 on six donuts, you should expect good individual uniqueness, and I have had better-made treats with far better value for the price elsewhere.

There's something tempting about donuts…read more Unholy Donuts was founded during COVID shutdowns when the dipped donut craze hit the city. At that point, its humble start was inside a midtown restaurant for dessert takeout. Fast forward to now, they have three spots across Toronto including downtown which you can't miss with its colourful baby blue & pink exterior. Inside they specialize in brioche donuts that are all dressed up in a variety of flavours ranging from Nutella bomb to pistachio to Homer's favorite raspberry lemon! On the one hand the donuts are expensive starting around $6, on the other they are quite large and eye-pleasing for a unique treat and a hefty sweet bite at that. We picked up six donuts to go after a meal. This bakeshop demonstrates the power of social media in creating buzz across the neighbourhood. I see they're now up to 24 flavours. Perfect timing and novelty wins in this donut-obsessed city. Skip it or hit it? If you're willing to shell out for treats like BBT, there's no reason not to give artisanal donuts a try at least once.

We finally were able to catch this spot and were not disappointed!…read moreWe were greeted cheerfully, even though they were almost closing! The environment is that of a small bakery, well light, smells amazing, with the remaining baked goodies clearly displayed! We got the pistachio, Nutella, creme brulee and a cream filled donut! Pistachio - it was fresh, not doughie, the pistachio cream filling was amazing..overall not too sweet and delightful. Note: there was something on the tough crunchy side in the topping...maybe remove this or inform customers, in case they have sensitive teeth. Creme Brulee - same as above, the Crunch from the initial bite was just as if you were breaking into the top of a creme brulee , however this filling was a little more sweet! Nutella - chocolatie, and sweet! I'm not big on over sweet stuff, but got rave reviews from our company. Cream filled - can't remember the type filling, but was a little more doughie, still good those! Overall I would recommend this location!

Run here ASAP! My…read morefriends and I stumbled upon this gem while exploring Toronto -- and what a find! They had just opened, and the moment we walked in, we were hit with the incredible aroma of fresh donuts. The selection was overwhelming (in the best way), and I wanted to try every single one. We started with the crème brûlée, pistachio, and Nutella donuts. I inhaled the pistachio one the second we stepped outside -- it was heavenly. We savored the other two throughout the day, and they were just as amazing. It was so good, we had to come back before closing and grabbed six more. Totally worth it. Each donut is $6.50 CAD (about $4.64 USD), and every bite is worth every cent. If you're in Toronto and love donuts, do yourself a favor and check this place out. Highly, highly recommend!
