I actually attempted to visit their shop twice when they first opened however, they were super popular at the time and both times they were sold out. I stopped by Better Days Coffee and Donuts recently on a Saturday morning. The shop was quiet. Primarily take out only, the interior gives off retro vibes. There is a small seating area near the window (with 3 stools) if you'd like to have your treats there. As soon as you enter, the donuts available are displayed in a glass case next to the cashier. I opted to grab a French cruller (light and fluffy choux dough with a honey glaze). However, the maple cream, marble, lemon filled, and apply fritter also sounded delicious as well. Service was friendly and efficient. I paid for my order and had my donut later in the day. Food wise, my French cruller was delicious! It was so light, fluffy and slightly doughy. As I had my first bite of the donut, I understood why this place kept selling out when they first opened. The donut was that good! The honey glaze also provided the donut with the perfect amount of sweetness. Overall, a solid place for donuts along Dovercourt! Definitely do grab a donut if you are ever around the area!
