How can you go wrong with Krispe Kreme.. Oh man I remember lining up in the Mississauga location when they first opened up and they'd hand out the original donut. My favourite will always be the original/plain glazed.. heat it up for 5 seconds in the microwave and it tastes fresh (if your'e doing take out). The donuts here are always light and fluffy and delicious with each bite. It's so bad for you but you still eat it!

Expect line ups during the weekend as they only allow one customer inside the shop at a time (during lockdown). Not sure if those rules will change anytime soon but the line cleared up fairly quick- only waited for 15 minutes in total. Donuts taste like a classic Krispy Kreme and were light and fluffy. I personally find some donuts (aside from the classic donut) to be too sweet but that's my own preference. The flavour is still great and I would recommend this location to anyone in the area craving a donut.

If I'm not here for their doughnuts, I'm here for the coffee. If not the coffee, then both...and that's MAJORITY of the time! This Krispy Kreme is perfect in that just a couple steps down stairs will be an area where you can study, watch CP24 or just relax. There is a 6-seater table, one small table for 2 and 2 comfy seats with a coffee table. There are 2 small tables and 3 window seats when you walk in as well if you're feeling suuuuuper duper lazy that day or just wanting to sit for a litte bit before dipping. Lastly, they have a washroom further downstairs! Convenient! *thumbs up* I've been going here since they've opened up and time and time again, I have gotten consistent great and friendly customer service. They wait patiently, go prepare other things or help the next person in line until I have decided how much damage I want to do to my body (in a good way I say! ;P) and pick out my poison (doughnut) for the day and/or coffee. Last I had Krispy Kreme was a LOOONG time ago and I tried their Custard-filled doughnut. Didn't like it so never went to another chain again. So here, since it was SO CLOSE to school and I needed a stress reliever sometimes, I tried EVERY OTHER doughnut before that one and they were all very satisfyingly killer! Yes......I tried ALL of the doughnuts and surprisingly the custard one wasn't so bad! Perhaps they changed up the recipe slightly? In any case, my all time favourite is the Kreme-filled doughnut if you are ok with the sweetness but I did find the cake batter doughnut waaay sweeter... Their coffee tastes pretty good and strong enough to keep you going for the day. To compare, I'd probably go for this one more than a Timmies coffee but that's just me... If I'm ever nearby and want a doughnut or coffee, I'll hit up this place in a heart beat!

The lounge area: one meeting table with 6 seats and two other sitting areas.

The Short Version: California style donuts, big and fluffy…read more I'm a fan. The Long Version: So Harry and Heels is a donut shop inside the Fourth Man in the Fire Pizzeria. The founder is the same (he's also the founder of the Burger's Priest). Their donuts are also available at Farm Boy, even as far east as Ottawa, which is actually where I tried them (since sadly the last time I was in Toronto, was before the business was founded). I tried the Chocolate Cream Filled ($3.99) which is a big fluffy yeast donut with chocolate on top and is filled with whipped cream. It's like a round eclair, lol. The layer of chocolate was thick, which I liked. The amount of whipped cream inside was also good, not stingy. These donuts are big and substantial, yet so soft. I'm a fan. I'm looking forward to trying other flavours, likely just at Farm Boy for the near future, but hopefully at their store in Toronto in the not too distant future. Review #3 (2026)

Ordered: Apple Fritter (CAD ~$5)…read more Aya's take: Located inside the pizzeria, Harry & Heels is cranking out California-style donuts. As someone who lived in California for 4 years, I will say these are better than the donuts I had there. We only tried the Apple Fritter which isn't usually my go-to but I'm very glad we tried it. It's crisp and sweet on the outside yet unbelievably soft and fluffy on the inside! The apple flavor is mild and could be a bit more pronounced, in my opinion. It's super airy and less dense than I expected which made this so easy to inhale. It didn't even make it out the door! Super friendly staff and tasty donuts!

There's something tempting about donuts…read more Unholy Donuts was founded during COVID shutdowns when the dipped donut craze hit the city. At that point, its humble start was inside a midtown restaurant for dessert takeout. Fast forward to now, they have three spots across Toronto including downtown which you can't miss with its colourful baby blue & pink exterior. Inside they specialize in brioche donuts that are all dressed up in a variety of flavours ranging from Nutella bomb to pistachio to Homer's favorite raspberry lemon! On the one hand the donuts are expensive starting around $6, on the other they are quite large and eye-pleasing for a unique treat and a hefty sweet bite at that. We picked up six donuts to go after a meal. This bakeshop demonstrates the power of social media in creating buzz across the neighbourhood. I see they're now up to 24 flavours. Perfect timing and novelty wins in this donut-obsessed city. Skip it or hit it? If you're willing to shell out for treats like BBT, there's no reason not to give artisanal donuts a try at least once.
