While running some errands in Slidell, we noticed the line of cars turning into the parking lot for this place. Intrigued, we knew we had to try it out. When we got in the line, it was literally to the door and I understand why. The sign says they have hot glaze, and that's very true. Every few minutes you saw the rows of hot glaze come up. Just as fast as they came up, they were sold. We decided to get some (hot) glazed donut holes, raspberry jelly donuts, a chocolate and glazed twist, and cinnamon roll. O M G to all of it but especially the Jelly donut. This jelly donut was what dreams are made of. This is what I think of when I think of jelly donuts. The filling was obviously jelly and it was well proportioned throughout the donut. The powder covered the whole donut. I only got two but I should've gotten 4, at least! The service here was also friendly, fast, and efficient. The young lady who helped us was kind and helpful. If ever I can get here on a Sunday morning (the only time I really let myself eat donuts), I'm sure my order will be double what it was today. Extremely satisfied customer!

I visited the Pontchartrain location. As a first-time customer, I want to mention that the young girl, Holland, working the drive-thru around 6 a.m. was very upbeat and kind. However she couldn't be more than 15-16 years old, if that. After the charge posted to my account, I noticed it was more than double what I was originally charged. My total at the window was just $5.48, and I did not add a tip since I went through the drive-thru. When the charge finalized, it showed over $13.48. I'm not sure if this was an honest mistake or Holland entering an $8 tip that I didn't give her, but it was concerning to see such a large difference after the transaction was completed. I would recommend customers double-checking their receipts and making sure "no tip" is written if they do not intend to leave one, to prevent something like this happening to them. I hope management looks into this so it doesn't happen to other customers. UPDATE: After speaking with Shannon, a shift manager, she stated if I brought my receipt in she'd handle it. I then told her Holland never provided a final receipt, only asked me to sign one and gave me my donuts through the drive-thru window and said "Have a good day". I did inform Shannon that I had a screenshot of the charge being updated in my back account and that she could view it here because I'd already left a review about my experience. Shannon then stated she will reach out to the owner Maddie to have this issue resolved. I will update this review on whether I do or do not receive a resolution to this matter.

They also serve coffee. The staff there is very friendly and welcoming. This is where the locals go to get their donuts. I got a dozen of mixed donuts with a bonus lemon turnover and apple covered cinnamon twist. They got some of my donuts fresh from the back. The donuts tasted delicious. They almost should be illegal. They were very fresh, everyone loved them. This is a great little shop and well worthy of a cheat day or treat day. I hope to make it back there soon.
