I returned here after a long time away. The menu seemed to change on a few items. My thoughts on…read morewhat I had this time are below. Pretzel Bites - This time they had a honey mustard and regular cheese sauce. The honey mustard was pleasant, but the cheese sauce was thick, and force was really needed to get through to break it. Fiesta Nachos - This had tortilla chips with roasted sweet corn, queso, Pico de Gallo, jalapeno, lime crema, and avocado crema. We also added steak. This was the best item of the night. The steak was tasty and there was a nice blend of ingredients mixed in. Cheesy Macaroni Bites - This was fried macaroni and cheese. I do not remember ranch being served, but the tomato sauce was not bad. They were nicely fried, but they were just okay. Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza - This was alright. The crust was not very flavorful and cooked enough. There needed to be a bit more of a hot honey presence. Boneless Buffalo Wings - The Buffalo sauce powerful, but solid quality and nice cook on the chicken. Bone-In Wings - I had the BBQ, Buffalo, and Asian sesame flavors. The Asian sesame had a little kick, something about these intrigued me. The BBQ was a little sweet, probably due to the Dr Pepper addition? There was a little inconsistency on the wings as some needed to be a little crispier. Buffalo Chicken Dip - This was very cheesy. It needed a little more buffalo sauce, but good chunks of chicken present.

I've been to several driving ranges around the city, but Chelsea Piers continues to be my favorite…read moreby far. From the moment you book your bay online to the second you step into your hitting station, everything is smooth and well organized. I really appreciate how easy it is to reserve a spot, especially on weekday mornings when prices are more affordable and the space feels calm and relaxed. The views of the Hudson River make it a unique experience. There's something very satisfying about practicing your swing while watching boats go by in the background. The automated ball system keeps things flowing without interruption, and every detail feels designed to enhance your game without distractions. What really makes the difference, though, is the atmosphere. Whether I go solo to clear my mind or bring friends along for a more social outing, I always end up having a great time. The food and drinks are surprisingly good, and having them delivered right to your bay is such a convenient touch. I also love that the booths have heating, which makes this a great place to visit any time of year. Overall, this is one of those spots I keep coming back to. If you're looking for a place to unwind, improve your swing, or simply enjoy the views, I can't recommend Chelsea Piers Golf Club enough.

Using their…read moreonline system, we were able to compare prices per day and hour (hint more afforable on the weekday and mornings). We took a car share service to avoid the parking costs, and the front staff made it easy to grab our clubs to play. The automatic golf balls keep the rythm of play going. The added views make for an even better experience. My husband and son didn't mind the humidity. They played for 55 mins and are ready for another round!

(I'll update my review and add pictures once we get our sneak peek gallery from our photographer…read morethis Saturday!) You know how people talk about that moment you put on a wedding dress, see yourself in the mirror, then think "this is the one"? That's how we felt with Estate at Eagle Lake from the moment we saw it in person! My husband Carlo and I got married at Estate at Eagle Lake on 7/22/2023 and we can't say enough amazing things about the venue and its staff! A huge and extra special shout-out to Brianna - the venue director, day-of coordinator, and for-hire wedding planner! She made our planning process and our actual wedding day absolutely seamless and perfect. She was even so thoughtful in making sure our other vendors were well taken care of and hydrated on our wedding day. We were really trying to "ball on a budget" and we were amazed and thankful with how much we were able to plan our day based on our budget here. Catering and alcohol are separate costs from the venue, so we were able to choose an amazing caterer within our budget from their preferred vendor list and we were able to do a "beer, wine, and signature cocktails" bar instead of a full open bar to save more money. Eagle Lake also includes so many AMAZING amenities in such an affordable cost: - The ENTIRE venue for your event from 7 AM - 11 PM - SO MANY PHOTO OP LOCATIONS including the love swing, sandy beach area with Adirondack chairs and a firepit in the evening, lakeside deck, cobblestone paths, rooftop area overlooking the lake, and plenty of grassy areas with beautiful flower blooms all over - Stadium seating for a lakeside ceremony that is livestreamed by the venue if requested. We opted to do the livestream so that our family in other states and overseas could watch! - Tented reception area with air conditioners and fans (the air conditioners are new as the owner Scott is always looking to make the venue better and more comfortable for all who come!) - Romantic rooftop area for cocktail hour complete with a shaded gazebo, little basketball hoops, and koi pond - A gorgeous bridal suite with 3 full salon setups - A very cool groom's suite with a pool table upstairs that the groom and groomsmen can use while they're "getting ready" - Indoor chapel and cocktail hour space for inclement weather - Photo booth which delivers photos digitally (no print outs) - Golf carts with attendants available to drive you around the venue As if my description isn't dreamy and too-good-to-be-true enough for you to book your next event here, you have to check the website for pictures and book a tour the venue yourself to see its true beauty! Our wedding truly wouldn't have been as magical if it were anywhere other than Estate at Eagle Lake. It's truly a hidden gem. We received SO many compliments from our wedding guests and I even got some inquiries about the venue from future brides looking for a wedding venue after I was tagged by some of our guests in Facebook pictures! If Carlo and I ever plan another big event, we'll absolutely come back to Estate at Eagle Lake with no hesitation and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to book a special event :) TIP #1: For those who plan an event here, be sure to tell your guests of the pebble paths and grass so they can wear appropriate footwear. TIP #2: If you haven't booked here yet but are interested, go to an open house so that you can meet some of the preferred vendors and potentially get a discount from them!

Scott, the owner-operator is hands on, passionate about the property, and provides great service to clients, guests, and wedding vendors alike. As a DJ, I was delighted to have my booth located in a real-life bunker and adjacent to an extensive bridal suite that resembles a professional hair salon! Relatively new to the Central NJ wedding scene, couples should take a closer look at this amazing and unique property.
