I guess they close the course to the public on some days. The cost was $85 with a cart which is not bad at all. They have a putting green and a net where you can hit balls into. It is a well maintained course and some picturesque spots. They have a lot of homes on the course so try to hit the ball straight. It is a shorter course but it does get tricky with the different hazards. Par 3's are like 120 yards max. I liked the course here. It was a fun day and it wasn't too crowded. 4 star place all the way.

Initial reconnaissance revealed a battlefield in disarray. Terrain Analysis: Substandard. Greens were inconsistent--more landmine field than putting surface. Sand traps? Negative. These were not traps, but shallow pits filled with what appeared to be kindergarten-grade play sand--littered with pebbles, no less. A disgrace to the principles of tactical design. Surrounding visuals were demoralizing: crumbling civilian structures and the looming shadows of industrial power plants. Suitable only for a post-apocalyptic campaign setting. Enemy Encounter - PACE OF PLAY: Catastrophic. We engaged a gridlock scenario at Hole 6. Four separate units occupying a single zone of engagement. First unit: A twosome exhibiting movement patterns consistent with post-stroke motor dysfunction. Possibly casualties reanimated by caffeine and stubbornness. Second unit: A lone elder soldier, executing what I can only describe as Tai Chi or Pilates maneuvers on the tee box--disrespectful to protocol. Third and most egregious unit: A six-man fireteam spread across three golf carts. Composition: half untrained child recruits unable to launch projectiles more than 10 yards, the other half delusional weekend warriors--swaggering around like they're on the PGA Tour. One operative even had his shirt tucked in. At a muni. Laughable. Tactical Assessment: This course suffers from a severe leadership vacuum. Chain of command is nonexistent. No marshals. No enforcement. Just chaos. A battlefield without a general. Conclusion: Mission failure. DO NOT REDEPLOY. Just like your parents, when you were a kid this course can be nice and fun but can also punish…read moreyou! Oh lucky me my parents decided that I need some punishing, and yet I still had fun! It's a nice layout and not crowded for a Saturday afternoon big plus in NJ in the summer. The course is in great shape and a challenge for all skill levels. It's a bit difficult the first time out since it has twists and turns that end up being surprises and as we all know surprises on the course don't usually improve your score. Wish the carts had GPS, it would have eliminated some of those surprises. Tried the food at the turn and it was average golf to go food, bland but not bad. Course does not have cart girls selling beverages just so you know. I'll be back with my Homies to play here again when I return to Jerzee, we'll see if I learned anything, that's always questionable...
